The “2018 Chinese Guidelines for Prevention and Treatment of Hypertension”[1](hereinafter referred to as the 2018 Guidelines) published in this issue was revised by the Guidelines Revision Committee which is initiated and organized by the Chinese Hypertension League.Based on the “2010 Chinese Guidelines for the Management of Hypertension” and recent evidence from domestic and international research in the field of hypertension,considering national conditions and the current situation of hypertension management in China,and reference to the latest European and American hypertension guidelines,the 2018 Guidelines make comprehensive and in-depth elaborations and recommendations of the diagnosis and assessment of hypertension,strategies and goals of prevention and treatment of hypertension and pathway of intervention,etc.The 2018 Guidelines not only provide Chinese medical personnel with guidance and reference for the clinical practice and population management of hypertension,but also serve as the latest textbook on updating concepts and knowledge in the field of hypertension.

To The Editor:Acne vulgaris is a chronic inflammatory skin disease involving the sebaceous glands.It has an incidence of approximately 9.4%,often occurring in adolescents.[1]The disease itself and the scars left after treatment can cause psychological stress in adolescents and seriously affect patients’quality of life.[2]At present,skin care products,either alone or in combination with medical drugs,have become important means for treating acne.This single-center,single-blind(clinician-blind),masculine-paralleled,randomized study(Registration number:ChiCTR2100051398)evaluated the efficacy and safety of a cream containing octyl salicylic acid,salicylic acid,linoleic acid,nicotinamide,and piroctone olamine(Duo+,La Roche-Posay,Paris,France)alone and in combination with benzoyl peroxide(BPO,Galderma,Paris,France)for the treatment of mild-to-moderate acne.The research was approved by the Ethics Committee of Shanghai Skin Disease Hospital,China(No.2020-13 ke).All participants provided written informed consent.

Aiming at solving the challenges of insufficient data samples and low detection efficiency in tunnel lining crack detection methods based on deep learning,a novel detection approach for tunnel lining crack was proposed,which is based on pruned You Look Only Once v4(YOLOv4)and Wasserstein Generative Adversarial Network enhanced by Residual Block and Efficient Channel Attention Module(WGAN-RE).In this study,a data augmentation method named WGAN-RE was proposed,which can achieve the automatic generation of crack images to enrich data set.Furthermore,YOLOv4 was selected as the basic model for training,and a pruning algo-rithm was introduced to lighten the model size,thereby effectively improving the detection speed.Average Precision(AP),F1 Score(F1),model size,and Frames Per Second(FPS)were selected as evaluation indexes of the model performance.Results indicate that the storage space of the pruned YOLOv4 model is only 49.16 MB,which is 80%compressed compared with the model before pruning.In addition,the FPS of the model reaches 40.58f/s,which provides a basis for the real-time detection of tunnel lining cracks.Findings also demon-strate that the F1 score and AP of the pruned YOLOv4 are only 0.77%and 0.50%lower than that before pruning,respectively.Besides,the pruned YOLOv4 is superior in both model accuracy and efficiency compared with YOLOv3,SSD,and Faster RCNN,which indi-cated that the pruned YOLOv4 model can realize the accurate,fast and intelligent detection of tunnel lining cracks in practical tunnel engineering.

Ductile-to-brittle transition(DBT)is a well-known phenomenon in body-centered-cubic(BCC)metals,in-termetallics and semiconductor materials.A quantitative prediction of the DBT temperature,however,has so far remained intractable.Here,we propose a unified model based on the efficacy of dislocation multi-plication as the controlling factor for DBT,with the dislocation source efficiency governed by the relative mobility of screw versus edge dislocations.The model successfully predicts the DBT temperature of iron,molybdenum and tungsten,and also covers the influence of grain size,initial dislocation density,and the multiplicity of dislocation sources.A comparison with experiments indicates that the model captures the key DBT features,providing new insight into the toughness of BCC metals.

A photoelectrochemical approach for the C-H silylation of heteroarenes through dehydrogenation cross-coupling with H2 evolution has been developed.The photoelectrochemical C-H silylation depends on hydrogen atom transfer(HAT)from silanes to Cl-radical generated through the light-induced homolytic cleavage of Cl2,in which Cl2 was produced by electrochemical oxidation of chloride.A large number of silylated heterocyclic molecules are rapidly constructed in satisfactory yields without relying on oxidants and metal reagents.

Convolutional neural networks(CNNs)have been developed quickly in many real-world fields.However,CNN’s performance depends heavily on its hyperparameters,while finding suitable hyperparameters for CNNs working in application fields is challenging for three reasons:(1)the problem of mixed-variable encoding for different types of hyperparameters in CNNs,(2)expensive computational costs in evaluating candidate hyperparameter configuration,and(3)the problem of ensuring convergence rates and model performance during hyperparameter search.To overcome these problems and challenges,a hybrid-model optimization algorithm is proposed in this paper to search suitable hyperparameter configurations automatically based on the Gaussian process and particle swarm optimization(GPPSO)algorithm.First,a new encoding method is designed to efficiently deal with the CNN hyperparameter mixed-variable problem.Second,a hybrid-surrogate-assisted model is proposed to reduce the high cost of evaluating candidate hyperparameter configurations.Third,a novel activation function is suggested to improve the model performance and ensure the convergence rate.Intensive experiments are performed on image-classification benchmark datasets to demonstrate the superior performance of GPPSO over state-of-the-art methods.Moreover,a case study on metal fracture diagnosis is carried out to evaluate the GPPSO algorithm performance in practical applications.Experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness and efficiency of GPPSO,achieving accuracy of 95.26%and 76.36%only through 0.04 and 1.70 GPU days on the CIFAR-10 and CIFAR-100 datasets,respectively.

To evaluate the safety of the bulb tubular turbine,the dynamic hydraulic characteristics of a hydropower station system during the load rejection process are studied through numerical simulations and a prototype test.In the developed model,a dynamic grid technology(DGT)controls the closure of the guide vane and the blade,whilst the moment balance equation and the user-defined function(UDF)provide the runner’s rotation speed.The 3-D transient simulation method can well predict the rotation speed and mass flow curves in the state of load rejection.The simulation outcomes of the system performance are basically consistent with the measurement data of the prototype.As observed,the runner is subjected to the reversely increased torque and axial force,the system is in a braking phase,and the maximum speed peaks at 144.6%of the rated speed.Moreover,the internal flow of the runner is greatly affected by the closure of the guide vane,and the draft tube forms an eccentric spiral vortex rope.It breaks downstream,aggravating the instability of the draft tube.Overall,the transient characteristics span for the first five seconds,demonstrating the importance of establishing an efficient governing controller.The obtained results are useful for designing the turbine’s flow channel with a double regulating function and comprehending the turbine’s transient characteristics.

Mutation-based greybox fuzzing has been one of the most prevalent techniques for security vulnerability discovery and a great deal of research work has been proposed to improve both its efficiency and effectiveness.Mutation-based greybox fuzzing generates input cases by mutating the input seed,i.e.,applying a sequence of mutation operators to randomly selected mutation positions of the seed.However,existing fruitful research work focuses on scheduling mutation operators,leaving the schedule of mutation positions as an overlooked aspect of fuzzing efficiency.This paper proposes a novel greybox fuzzing method,PosFuzz,that statistically schedules mutation positions based on their historical performance.PosFuzz makes use of a concept of effective position distribution to represent the semantics of the input and to guide the mutations.PosFuzz first utilizes Good-Turing frequency estimation to calculate an effective position distribution for each mutation operator.It then leverages two sampling methods in different mutating stages to select the positions from the distribution.We have implemented PosFuzz on top of AFL,AFLFast and MOPT,called Pos-AFL,-AFLFast and-MOPT respectively,and evaluated them on the UNIFUZZ benchmark(20 widely used open source programs)and LAVA-M dataset.The result shows that,under the same testing time budget,the Pos-AFL,-AFLFast and-MOPT outperform their counterparts in code coverage and vulnerability discovery ability.Compared with AFL,AFLFast,and MOPT,PosFuzz gets 21%more edge coverage and finds 133%more paths on average.It also triggers 275%more unique bugs on average.
