Modeling the Correlations of Relations for Knowledge Graph Embedding

Knowledge graph embedding, which maps the entities and relations into low-dimensional vector spaces, has demonstrated its effectiveness in many tasks such as link prediction and relation extraction. Typical methods include TransE, TransH, and TransR. All these methods map different relations into the vector space separately and the intrinsic correlations of these relations are ignored. It is obvious that there exist some correlations among relations because different relations may connect to a common entity. For example, the triples （Steve Jobs, PlaceOfBrith, California） and （Apple Inc., Location, California） share the same entity California as their tail entity. We analyze the embedded relation matrices learned by TransE/TransH/TransR, and find that the correlations of relations do exist and they are showed as low-rank structure over the embedded relation matrix. It is natural to ask whether we can leverage these correlations to learn better embeddings for the entities and relations in a knowledge graph. In this paper, we propose to learn the embedded relation matrix by decomposing it as a product of two low-dimensional matrices, for characterizing the low-rank structure. The proposed method, called TransCoRe （Translation-Based Method via Modeling the Correlations of Relations）, learns the embeddings of entities and relations with translation-based framework. Experimental results based on the benchmark datasets of WordNet and Freebase demonstrate that our method outperforms the typical baselines on link prediction and triple classification tasks.

High-resolution Simulation of an Extreme Heavy Rainfall Event in Shanghai Using the Weather Research and Forecasting Model: Sensitivity to Planetary Boundary Layer Parameterization

In this study,an extreme rainfall event that occurred on 25 May 2018 over Shanghai and its nearby area was simulated using the Weather Research and Forecasting model,with a focus on the effects of planetary boundary layer(PBL)physics using double nesting with large grid ratios(15:1 and 9:1).The sensitivity of the precipitation forecast was examined through three PBL schemes:the Yonsei University Scheme,the Mellor−Yamada−Nakanishi Niino Level 2.5(MYNN)scheme,and the Mellor−Yamada−Janjic *** PBL effects on boundary layer structures,convective thermodynamic and large-scale forcings were investigated to explain the model differences in extreme rainfall distributions and hourly *** results indicated that in single coarser grids(15 km and 9 km),the extreme rainfall amount was largely underestimated with all three PBL *** the inner 1-km grid,the underestimated intensity was improved;however,using the MYNN scheme for the 1-km grid domain with explicitly resolved convection and nested within the 9-km grid using the Kain−Fritsch cumulus scheme,significant advantages over the other PBL schemes are revealed in predicting the extreme rainfall distribution and the time of primary peak ***,with the weakest vertical mixing,produced the shallowest and most humid inversion layer with the lowest lifting condensation level,but stronger wind fields and upward motions from the top of the boundary layer to upper *** factors all facilitate the development of deep convection and moisture transport for intense precipitation,and result in its most realistic prediction of the primary rainfall peak.

Teleportation of an unknown two-particle entangled state via an asymmetric three-particle entanglement state

In this article, a protocol for the teleportation of an unknown two-panicle entanglement is proposed. The feature of the present protocol is that we utilize an asymmetric threeparticle entangled state as the quantum channel. The optimal discrimination between two nonorthogonal quantum states is adopted. It is shown that an unknown two-particle entangled state can be probabilistically teleported from the sender to the remote receiver on condition that the co-sender successfully collaborates. The fidelity in this protocol is one. In addition, the probability of the successful teleportation is calculated and all kinds of transformations performed by the sender and the receiver are provided in detail.

The fast development of the Internet and mobile devices results in a crowdsensing business model,where individuals(users)are willing to contribute their data to help the institution(data collector)analyze and release useful ***,the reveal of personal data will bring huge privacy threats to users,which will impede the wide application of the crowdsensing *** settle the problem,the definition of local differential privacy(LDP)is ***,to respond to the varied privacy preference of users,resear-chers propose a new model,i.e.,personalized local differential privacy(PLDP),which allow users to specify their own privacy *** this paper,we focus on a basic task of calculating the mean value over a single numeric attribute with *** on the previous schemes for mean estimation under LDP,we employ PLDP model to design novel schemes(LAP,DCP,PWP)to provide personalized privacy for each *** then theoretically analysis the worst-case variance of three proposed schemes and conduct experiments on synthetic and real datasets to evaluate the performance of three *** theoretical and experimental results show the optimality of PWP in the low privacy regime and a slight advantage of DCP in the high privacy regime.

Cranial morphological features of the stem-group sarcopterygian Guiyu oneiros zhu et al.,2009 provided here include the dermal bone pattern and anatomical details of the *** on those features,we restored,for the first time,the skull roof bone pattern in the Guiyu clade that comprises Psarolepis and *** with Onychodus,Achoania,coelacanths,and actinopterygians show that the posterior nostril enclosed by the preorbital or the preorbital process is shared by actinopterygians and sarcopterygians,and the lachrymals in sarcopterygians and actinopterygians are not *** endocranium closely resembles that of Psarolepis,Achoania and Onychodus;however,the attachment area of the vomer possesses irregular ridges and grooves as in Youngolepis and *** orbito-nasal canal is positioned mesial to the nasal capsule as in Youngolepis and *** position of the hypophysial canal at the same level or slightly anterior to the ethmoid articulation represents a synapmorphy of the Guiyu *** large attachment area of the basicranial muscle indicates the presence of a well-developed intracranial joint in Guiyu.

Bioaccumulation of heavy metals in fishes from Taihu Lake,China

The Cr, Zn, Cu, Cd, Pb contents were determined in Cyprinus carpio Linnaeus, Carassius auratus Linnaeus, Hypophthalmichthys molitrix and Aristichthys nobilis, which were caught from Meiliang Bay, Taihu Lake, a large, shallow and eutrophic lake of China. The results showed that：（1） the Cr, Cu, Pb, Cd contents in the edible parts of the four fish species were much lower than Chinese Food Health Criterion （1994）, but the Zn contents were higher than the Criterion; （2） Cd contents were the highest in the liver of fish, Pb contents were almost the same in all organs of fish, Cr contents mainly enriched in the skin and gonads, Zn contents were the highest in the gonad （♀）, and Cu contents were the highest in the liver; （3） the total metal accumulation was the greatest in the liver and the lowest in the muscle. The total metal accumulation was the highest in C. auratus L. This investigation indicated that fish products in Taihu Lake were still safe for human consumption, but the amount consumed should be controlled under the Chinese Food Health Criterion to avoid excessive intake of Zn.

Ground fissure development regularity and formation mechanism of shallow buried coal seam mining with Karst landform in Jiaozi coal mine: a case study

A comprehensive study was undertaken at Jiaozi coal mine to investigate the development regularity of ground fissures in shallow buried coal seam mining with Karst landform,shedding light on the development type,geographical distribution,dynamic development process,and failure mechanism of these ground fissures by employing field monitoring,numerical simulation,and theoretical *** findings demonstrate that ground fissure development has an obvious feature of subregion,and its geographical distribution is significantly affected by *** type,open type,and stepped type are three different categories of ground *** fissures emerge dynamically as the panel advances,and they typically develop with a distance of less than periodic weighting step distance in advance of panel advancing *** fissures present the dynamic development feature,temporary fissure has the ability of *** dynamic development process of ground fissure with closed-distance coal seam repeated mining is expounded,and the development scale is a dynamic development stage of“closure→expansion→stabilized”on the basis of the original development *** the perspective of topsoil deformation,the computation model considering two points movement vectors towards two directions of the gob and the ground surface is established,the development criterion considering the critical deformation value of topsoil is *** mechanical model of hinged structure of inclined body is proposed to clarify the ground fissure development,and the interaction between slope activity and ground fissure development is *** research results fulfill the gap of ground fissures about development regularity and formation mechanism,and can contribute to ground fissure prevention and treatment with Karst landform.

Physical layer security for massive access in cellular Internet of Things

The upcoming fifth generation(5G) cellular network is required to provide seamless access for a massive number of Internet of Things(IoT) devices over the limited radio spectrum. In the context of massive spectrum sharing among heterogeneous Io T devices, wireless security becomes a critical issue owing to the broadcast nature of wireless channels. According to the characteristics of the cellular IoT network,physical layer security(PHY-security) is a feasible and effective way of realizing secure massive access. This article reviews the security issues in the cellular IoT network with an emphasis on revealing the corresponding challenges and opportunities for the design of secure massive access. Furthermore, we provide a survey on PHY-security techniques to improve the secrecy performance. Especially, we propose a secure massive access framework for the cellular Io T network by exploiting the inherent co-channel interferences. Finally, we discuss several potential research directions to further enhance the security of massive IoT.

A Bio-Inspired Integration Model of Basal Ganglia and Cerebellum for Motion Learning of a Musculoskeletal Robot

It is a significant research direction for highly complex musculoskeletal robots that how to develop the ability of motion learning and *** cooperations of multiple brain regions are crucial to improving motion *** by the neural mechanisms of structures,functions,and interconnections of basal ganglia and cerebellum,a biologically inspired integration model for motor learning of musculoskeletal robots is *** on the neural characteristics of the basal ganglia,the basal ganglia actor network,which mainly simulates the dorsal striatum,outputs motion commands,and the basal ganglia critic network,which simulates the ventral striatum,estimates actionstate *** network parameters are updated using the soft actor-critic *** on the sensorimotor prediction mechanism of the cerebellum,the cerebellum network evaluates the state feature extraction quality of the basal ganglia actor network and then updates the weights of its feature *** learning method is proven to converge to the optimal ***,drawing on the mechanism of dopaminergic dynamic regulation in the basal ganglia,the adaptive adjustment of target entropy and the dopaminergic experience replay are proposed to further improve the integration model,which contributes to the exploration-exploitation trade-off of motor *** bio-inspired integration model is validated on a musculoskeletal *** results indicate that this model can effectively control the musculoskeletal robot to accomplish the motion task from random starting locations to random target positions with high precision and robustness.
