BACKGROUND Lateral window approach for sinus floor lift is commonly used for vertical bone augmentation in cases when the residual bone height is less than 5 ***,managing cases becomes more challenging when a maxillary sinus pseudocyst is present or when there is insufficient bone *** this case,we utilized the bone window prepared during the lateral window sinus lift as a shell for horizontal bone *** allowed for simultaneous horizontal and vertical bone augmentation immediately after the removal of the maxillary sinus *** SUMMARY A 28-year-old female presented to our clinic with the chief complaint of missing upper left posterior *** examination showed a horizontal deficiency of the alveolar ridge *** height of the alveolar bone was approximately 3.6 mm on cone beam computed tomography(CBCT).And a typical well-defined'dome-shaped'lesion in maxillary sinus was observed on CBCT *** lateral bony window was prepared using a piezo-ultrasonic device,then the bony window was fixed to the buccal side of the 26 alveolar ridge using a titanium screw with a length of 10 mm and a diameter of 1.5 *** space between the bony window and the alveolar ridge was filled with Bio-Oss,covered with a Bio-Gide collagen membrane,and subsequently *** months later,the patient’s bone width increased from 4.8 to 10.5 mm,and the bone height increased from 3.6 to 15.6 ***,a Straumann^(■)4.1 mm×10 mm implant was *** final all-ceramic crown restoration was completed four months later,and both clinical and radiographic examinations showed that the implant was successful,and the patient was satisfied with the *** The bone block harvested from the lateral window sinus lift can be used for simultaneous horizontal bone augmentation acting as a shell for good two-dimensional bone augmentation.

The crosstalk between clathrin-mediated endocytosis(CME)and the autophagy pathway has been reported in mammals;however,the interconnection of CME with autophagy has not been established in ***,we report that the Arabidopsis CLATHRIN LIGHT CHAIN(CLC)subunit 2 and 3 double mutant,clc2-1 clc3-1,phenocopies Arabidopsis AUTOPHAGY-RELATED GENE(ATG)mutants in both autoimmunity and nutrient ***,the autophagy pathway is significantly compromised in the clc2-1 clc3-1 ***,multiple assays demonstrate that CLC2 directly interacts with ATG8h/ATG8i in a domain-specific *** expected,both GFP-ATG8h/GFP-ATG8i and CLC2-GFP are subjected to autophagic degradation,and degradation of GFP-ATG8h is significantly reduced in the clc2-1 clc3-1 ***,simultaneous knockout of ATG8h and ATG8i by CRISPR-Cas9 results in enhanced resistance against Golovinomyces cichoracearum,supporting the functional relevance of the CLC2-ATG8h/8i *** conclusion,our results reveal a link between the function of CLCs and the autophagy pathway in Arabidopsis.

AIM: To investigate the prognostic value of metastaticlymph node ratio(MLNR) in extrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma(ECC) patients undergoing radical ***: Seventy-eight patients with ECC were *** between various clinicopathologic factors and prognosis were investigated by KaplanMeier *** Cox proportional-hazards model was used for multivariate survival ***: The overall three- and five-year survival rates were 47.26% and 23.99%, *** of 0, 0-0.2, 0.2-0.5, and > 0.5 corresponded to fiveyear survival rates of 28.59%, 21.60%, 18.84%, and 10.03%, *** analysis showed that degree of tumor differentiation, lymph node metastasis, MLNR, tumor-node-metastasis(TNM) stage, and margin status were closely associated with postoperative survival in ECC patients(P 0.5, 0.2-0.5, 0-0.2, and 0 was 15 mo, 24 mo, 23 mo, and 35.5 mo, *** were statistical differences in survival time between patients with different MLNR(χ2 = 15.38; P < 0.01).CONCLUSION: MLNR is an independent prognostic factor for ECC patients after radical resection and is useful for predicting postoperative survival.
