The composition and evolution of interfacial species play a key role during electrocatalytic *** the structural evolution and intermediate during catalytic process by in situ characterization can shed new light on the electrocatalytic reaction mechanism and develop highly efficient ***,directly probing the interfacial species is extremely difficult for most spectroscopic techniques due to complicated interfacial environment and ultra-low surface ***,electrochemical core-shell nanoparticle enhanced Raman spectroscopy is utilized to probe the composition and evolution processes of interfacial species on Au@Pt,Au@Co,and Au@PtCo core-shell nanoparticle *** spectral evidences of interfacial intermediates including hydroxide radical(OH*),superoxide ion(O_(2)^(−)),as well as metal oxide species are directly captured by in situ Raman spectroscopy,which are further confirmed by the both isotopic experiment and density functional theory *** results provide a mechanistic guideline for the rational design of highly efficient electrocatalysts.

Prevalence and clinical impact of sarcopenia in liver transplant recipients:A meta-analysis

BACKGROUND The prevalence of sarcopenia in patients undergoing liver transplantation(LT)remains to be determined partly because of different diagnostic *** has recently been recognized as a new prognostic factor for predicting outcomes in LT *** To estimate the prevalence of sarcopenia and evaluate its clinical effect on LT *** This systematic search was conducted in PubMed,Web of Science,Embase,and Cochrane Library for original English-language articles that investigated the prevalence and influence of sarcopenia in patients undergoing LT from database inception to November 30,*** studies of the definition of sarcopenia that estimate sarcopenia prevalence and evaluate its effect on clinical outcomes and the risk of mortality were *** Twenty-five studies involving 7760 patients undergoing LT were *** pooled prevalence of sarcopenia in patients undergoing LT was 40.7%[95%confidence intervals(95%CI):32.1-49.6].The 1-,3-,and 5-year cumulative probab-ilities of post-LT survival in patients with preoperative sarcopenia were all lower than those without sarcopenia(P<0.05).Sarcopenia was associated with an increased risk of post-LT mortality in patients undergoing LT(adjusted hazard ratio:1.58;95%CI:1.21-2.07).Patients with preoperative sarcopenia had a longer intensive care unit stay,a high risk ratio of sepsis,and serious post-LT complications than those without *** Sarcopenia is prevalent in a substantial proportion of patients undergoing LT and is strongly and independently associated with higher a risk of mortality risk.

Development and validation of a model integrating clinical and coronary lesion-based functional assessment for longterm risk prediction in PCI patients

OBJECTIVES To establish a scoring system combining the ACEF score and the quantitative blood flow ratio(QFR) to improve the long-term risk prediction of patients undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI).METHODS In this population-based cohort study, a total of 46 features, including patient clinical and coronary lesion characteristics, were assessed for analysis through machine learning models. The ACEF-QFR scoring system was developed using 1263consecutive cases of CAD patients after PCI in panDA Ⅲ trial database. The newly developed score was then validated on the other remaining 542 patients in the *** In both the Random Forest Model and the Deep Surv Model, age, renal function(creatinine), cardiac function(LVEF)and post-PCI coronary physiological index(QFR) were identified and confirmed to be significant predictive factors for 2-year adverse cardiac events. The ACEF-QFR score was constructed based on the developmental dataset and computed as age(years)/EF(%) + 1(if creatinine ≥ 2.0 mg/d L) + 1(if post-PCI QFR ≤ 0.92). The performance of the ACEF-QFR scoring system was preliminarily evaluated in the developmental dataset, and then further explored in the validation dataset. The ACEF-QFR score showed superior discrimination(C-statistic = 0.651;95% CI: 0.611-0.691, P < 0.05 versus post-PCI physiological index and other commonly used risk scores) and excellent calibration(Hosmer–Lemeshow χ^(2)= 7.070;P = 0.529) for predicting 2-year patient-oriented composite endpoint(POCE). Method with reliable accuracy and fast speed for measuring operational current of HTS NI closed-loop coils in steady persistent-current-mode

This study proposes a method for measuring the operational current of high temperature superconducting(HTS)non‐insulation(NI)closed‐loop coils,which operate in the steady persistent‐current‐mode(PCM).HTS NI closed‐loop coils are promising for many easily‐quenching direct‐current(DC)applications,where their performance is determined by magnetomotive forces,total number of turns,and *** the primary interface parameter in an application system,the operational current must be accurately and rapidly ***,this is achieved by dividing the measured magnetic field by the coil ***,even if the influence of the screening current induced field(SCIF)is not considered,existing methods for the coil constant may be disturbed by the performance and location of Hall sensors,or experience a long measuring ***,a relatively accurate and fast method is proposed in this study,which is based on adjusting the output current of the adjustable power supply and monitoring the coil voltage as an *** proposed method was validated through experiments and simulations using an equivalent circuit model coupled with a finite element method(FEM)model,and its current accuracy can be equivalent to the resolution of the employed power *** was demonstrated that this method reduced the requirements for Hall sensor’s performance and location,and has a more reliable accuracy in contrast to the simulation *** to the experimentally conventional method,the proposed method presents a significantly faster *** impact of the SCIF was considered and proven to be negligible for the tested pancake *** for coils whose coil constant vibrates owing to the SCIF,this method can be adapted to directly measure various operational ***,it was demonstrated that the measurement error can be influenced by the current discrepancy among turns when the coil is not in the steady PCM,and a procedure for reducing this error was pr

The corrosion mechanism of 510L low alloy steel treated by acid-cleaned surface(ACS)and eco-pickled surface(EPS)techniques in three simulated solutions(S0:atmospheric environment;S1:soil environment;S2:industrial environment)and the influence of interaction between different corrosive anions on corrosion were *** results show that the total corrosion rates of samples in three simulated solutions were in order of S2>S0>S1,which is simultaneously correlated with initial corrosion dissolution processes as well as after the formation of corrosion ***3−will inhibit the initial corrosion owing to the formation of films,whereas HSO3−will accelerate the dissolutions of the matrix based on the synergistic action of HSO3−and Cl−.On the other hand,there is no significant difference in corrosion rates between the samples treated by ACS and EPS *** EPS technique that is safe,reusable and environmentally friendly can be further widely used in future work.
