The application of fluorescent probes for in vivo retinal imaging is of great importance,which could provide direct and crucial imaging evidence for a better understanding of common eye ***,a group of bright organic luminogens with typical electron-donating(D)and electron-accepting(A)structures(abbreviated as LDs-BDM,LDs-BTM,and LDs-BHM)was synthesized through a simple single-step *** were found to be efficient solid-state emitters with high fluorescence quantum yields of above 70%(e.g.,83.7%for LDs-BTM).Their light-emission properties could be tuned by the modulation ofπ-conjugation effect with methoxy groups at different substituent *** resulting fluorescent nanoparticles(NPs)were demonstrated as specific lipid droplets(LDs)targeting probes with high brightness,good biocompatibility,and satisfactory ***-BTM NPs with a large two-photon absorption cross section(σ2=249 GM)were further utilized as ultrabright two-photon fluorescence(2PF)nanoprobes for in vivo retina imaging of live zebrafish by NIR excitation at an ultralow concentration(0.5μmol/L).Integrated histological structures at the tissue level and corresponding fine details at the cellular level of the embryonic retina of live zebrafish were clearly *** is the first report of using ultrabright LDs-targeting nanoprobes to accurately measure fine details in the retina with 2PF microscopic *** good results are anticipated to open up a new avenue in the development of efficient 2PF emitters for non-invasive bioimaging of living animals.

Soil erosion control based on county scale Soil and Water Conservation Regionalization(SWCR)is an essential component of China's ecological civilization *** SWCR,the quantitative analysis of the spatial heterogeneity and driving factors of soil erosion among different regions is still *** is of great significance for soil erosion control to deeply examine the factors contributing to soil erosion(natural,land use,and socioeconomic factors)and their interaction at the county and regional *** study focused on a highly cultivated area,Hechuan District of Chongqing in the Sichuan *** district(with 30 townships)was divided into four soil and water conservation regions(Ⅰ-Ⅳ)using principal component and hierarchical cluster *** driving factors of soil erosion were identified using the geographical detector *** results showed thatⅰ)the high cultivation rate was a prominent factor of soil erosion,and the sloping farmland accounted for 78.4%of the soil erosion in the study area;ⅱ)land use factors demonstrated the highest explanatory power in soil erosion,and the average interaction of land use factors explained 60.1%of soil erosion in the study area;ⅲ)the interaction between natural factors,socioeconomic factors,and land use factors greatly contributes to regional soil erosion through nonlinear-enhancement of double-factor *** study highlights the importance of giving special attention to the effects of land use factors on soil erosion at the county scale,particularly in mountainous and hilly areas with extensive sloping farmland and a high cultivation rate.

The floatability of different crystalline structures of pyrrhotite(monoclinic and hexagonal) was *** is shown that the floatability of monoclinic and hexagonal has obvious difference,and that the flotation recovery of monoclinic pyrrhotite is larger than that of hexagonal pyrrhotite using different *** butyl dithiophosphate is used as the collector,the recovery is larger than that by sodium butyl xanthate and sodium diethyl *** the pH values ranging from 6 to 9,monoclinic pyrrhotite can be floated well,and the flotation recovery is higher than 90%.Monoclinic and hexagonal pyrrhotites are more easily activated by Cu2+ in acidic conditions than in alkaline *** Cu2+ cannot activate hexagonal pyrrhotite using sodium diethyldithiocarbamate as the *** the measurement of contact angle,it is indicated that monoclinic and hexagonal pyrrhotites float well and are easily activated by Cu2+ when dithiophosphate is used as the *** sodium diethyl dithiocarbamate as a collector,the relationship between potential and pH range for pyrrhotite flotation is *** pH 5,the optimal potential range for flotation of monoclinic pyrrhotite is about 125-580 mV(vs SHE),with the maximum flotation occurring at about 350 mV(vs SHE);the optimal potential range for flotation of hexagonal pyrrhotite is 200?580 mV(vs SHE),with the maximum flotation occurring at about 300 mV(vs SHE).

Soil heavy metal(loid)s and risk assessment in vicinity of a coal mining area from southwest Guizhou, China

Total concentrations of arsenic, lead, cadmium, mercury, nickel, chromium, and copper in the soils from near a coal mine area in southwest Guizhou, China, were measured to evaluate the level of contamination, and the potential ecological risks posed by the heavy metals were quantitatively estimated. Results reveal that all heavy metals/metalloid exceeded the background values for soil environmental quality of heavy metals in Guizhou area. Geo-accumulation index(I_(geo)) showed that arsenic had the highest contamination level(I_(geo)=4) among the seven heavy metals/metalloid, and the contamination levels of mercury and lead were also relatively high(I_(geo)=3). Pearson correlation and cluster analysis identified that mercury, copper and arsenic had a relationship, and their presence might be mainly related to mining activity, coal and oil combustion, and vehicle emissions. Improved Nemerow index indicated that the overall level of heavy metal contamination in the studied area ranged from moderately–heavily contaminated to heavily contaminated level. Potential ecological risk index(R_I) analysis manifested that the whole ecological risk level ranged from high degree to very high degree(325.30≤R_I≤801.02) in the studied soil samples, and the potential ecological risk factors (E_r^i) of heavy metals/metalloid were as follows: Hg > As > Cd > Pb > Cu > Ni > Cr, and the E_r^i of Hg and As reached very high risk grade.

Sintering characteristics of fluxes and their structure optimization

Sintering characteristics of common fluxes and sintering blending ores, such as mineralization capacity, liquid generation capacity, consolidation strength, were examined to master the behavior and effect of fluxes in sintering. Based on fundamental studies, sinter pot tests were carried out to obtain the principles of optimizing the sinter flux structure. The results showed that strong mineralization capacity, liquid phase generation capacity, and consolidation strength were obtained as sintering blending ores combined with the calcareous flux, while rela-tively poor sintering characteristics were obtained as sintering blending ores combined with the magnesian flux. High reactive quicklime should be used as much as possible in the sintering mixture. It reached better sintering results while quicklime was used instead of limestone and its appropriate proportion in the sintering mixture was around 4wt%. On the premise of ensuring the MgO content, the dolomite amount should be decreased, and the substitution of quicklime for dolomite caused better sintering results. The granularity of serpentine should be re-fined with a proper size smaller than 2 mm. The application of the divided addition method brought the best sintering performance with 30wt% of quicklime and 70wt% of fuel.

AIM: To investigate the effects of spectral composition and light intensity on natural refractive development in guinea ***: A total of 124 pigmented guinea pigs(2-week-old) were randomly assigned to three groups at high(Hi;4000 lx), medium(Me;400 lx) and low(Lo;50 lx) light intensities under a 12:12 light/dark cycle for 6 wk. Each group was subdivided into subgroups with the following spectra: broad spectrum Solux halogen light(BS), 600 nm above-filtered continuous spectrum(600F), 530 nm above-filtered continuous spectrum(530F), and 480 nm above-filtered continuous spectrum(480F;HiBS: n=10, Hi600F: n=10, Hi530F: n=10, Hi480F: n=10, MeBS: n=10, Me600F: n=10, Me530F: n=10, Me480F: n=10, LoBS: n=11, Lo600F: n=12, Lo530F: n=10, Lo480F: n=11). Refractive error, corneal curvature radius, and axial dimensions were determined by cycloplegic retinoscopy, photokeratometry, and A-scan ultrasonography before and after 2, 4, and 6 wk of treatment. Average changes from both eyes in the ocular parameters and refractive error were compared among different ***: After 6 wk of exposure, high-intensity lighting enhanced hyperopic shift;medium-and low-intensity lighting enhanced myopic shift(P<0.05). Under the same spectrum, axial increase was larger in the low light intensity group than in the medium and high light intensity groups(HiBS: 0.65±0.02 mm, MeBS: 0.67±0.01 mm, LoBS:0.82±0.02 mm;Hi600 F: 0.64±0.02 mm, Me600F: 0.67±0.01 mm, Lo600F: 0.81±0.01 mm;Hi530F: 0.64±0.02 mm, Me530F: 0.67±0.01 mm, Lo530F: 0.73±0.02 mm;Hi480F: 0.64±0.01 mm, Me480F: 0.66±0.01 mm, Lo480F: 0.72±0.02 mm;P<0.05). Under 400 lx, there was a faster axial increase in the MeBS group than in the Me480F group(P<0.05).
