Spin-modulated near-infrared-Ⅰ emission in a xanthene-decorated Fe(Ⅱ) spin-crossover complex

Molecular materials showing synergetic coupling of near-infrared （nIR） fluorescence and spin-crossover （SCO） are promisingly applicable in in-vivo bioimaging,temperature sensing,and spintronic *** the related study faces formidable *** this work we graft the nIR fluorophore xanthene onto the dipyridyl substituted triazole ligand and construct a new Febased SCO material,{FeⅡ（ddxc-abpt）2[n（Cn）2]2}(1,ddxc-abpt:（E）-4-(((3,5-di（pyridin-2-yl）-4H-1,2,4-triazol-4-yl)imino)methyl)-n,n-diethyl-2,3-dihydro-1H-xanthen-6-amine).Magnetic studies indicate that compound 1 exhibits thermally induced SCO property in both the solid and solution ***-temperature fluorescence emission spectra reveal a remarkable 7-fold increase in photoluminescence intensity upon the transition from the low-spin state at 110 K to the high-spin state at 280 K,which is the record of all reported coupled fluorescence-SCO ***-temperature ultraviolet-visible （UV-Vis）absorption spectra show a significant change in absorption intensity within the fluorescence emission window,consistent with the F?rster resonance energy transfer （FRET） ***-dependent density functional theory （TD-DFT） calculations demonstrate that the strong coupling is attributed to disrupted energy transfer between the xanthene fluorophore and high-spin *** work provides a feasible approach for expanding the synergetic SCO-fluorescence materials to the nIR-Iwavelength region,and hopefully contributes to the applications of tunable nIR-SCO molecule-based sensors and devices.

In non-small cell lung cancers,the non-squamous and squamous subtypes（nsqnSCLC and sqnSCLC） exhibit disparities in pathophysiology,tumor immunology,and potential genomic correlates affecting responses to immune checkpoint inhibitor（ICI）-based *** our inhouse training cohort（n=85）,the presence of the LRP1B deleterious mutation（LRP1B-del） was associated with longer and shorter progression-free survival（PFS） on ICIs alone in nsqnSCLCs and sqnSCLCs,respectively(Pinteraction=0.008).These results were validated using a larger public ICI cohort(n=208,Pinteractionnofluorescence staining revealed an association between LRP1B-del and increased and decreased numbers of tumor-infiltrating CD8+T cells in nsqnSCLCs（P=0.040） and sqnSCLCs（P=0.014）,*** the POPLAR/OAK cohort,nsqnSCLCs with LRP1B-del demonstrated improved PFS benefits from atezolizumab over docetaxel(hazard ratio（HR）=0.70,P=0.046),whereas this benefit was negligible in those without LRP1B-del（HR=1.05,P=0.64）.Conversely,sqnSCLCs without LRP1B-del benefited more from atezolizumab（HR=0.60,P=0.002） than those with LRP1B-del（HR=1.30,P=0.31）.Consistent results were observed in the in-house CHOICE-01 cohort,in which nsqnSCLCs with LRP1B-del and sqnSCLCs without LRP1B-del benefited more from toripalimab plus chemotherapy than from chemotherapy alone(Pinteraction=0.008).This multi-cohort study delineates the antithetical impacts of LRP1B-del in nsqnSCLCs and sqnSCLCs on predicting the benefits from ICI alone or with chemotherapy over chemotherapy *** findings highlight the distinct clinical utility of LRP1B-del in guiding treatment choices for nsqnSCLCs and sqnSCLCs,emphasizing the necessity for a detailed analysis based on pathological subtypes when investigating biomarkers for cancer therapeutics.

评估森林可燃物燃烧危险性,有助于客观认识森林火灾风险水平,从而制定相应防火和灭火措施,为开展森林火灾防治和应急管理工作提供决策依据。以黑龙江省大兴安岭林区为研究区,利用“森林火灾风险普查”3 300块标准样地调查数据,通过森林可燃物燃烧试验,对潜在初始火强度、灌木层连续性和易燃树种密度等指标进行等级划分,量化森林可燃物的燃烧性和空间分布的连续性,判断潜在林火强度大小和易发林火种类,评估森林可燃物燃烧危险性等级。结果表明:(1)黑龙江省大兴安岭林区森林可燃物燃烧危险性等级分为4个等级,即高危险性等级、中高危险性等级、中低危险性等级、低危险性等级;(2)大兴安岭林区从北纬50°~53°30′,从低纬度到高纬度标准地森林火灾高危险性等级比例依次为0.02、0.02、0.02、0.05、0.07、0.10、0.08,低危险性等级比例依次为0.50、0.48、0.41、0.36、0.34、0.30、0.29。

Growth behavior and electronic regulation of Pt on various Mo-based supports for hydrogen evolution electrocatalysis

Insight into the growth behavior and electronic regulation of platinum （Pt） on various transition metal supports is paramount in developing high-performing electrocatalysts for hydrogen evolution reactions （HER）.Herein,we studied the influence of molybdenum-based supports （MoX,X=C,n,P,and S） on the growth behavior and electronic regulation of *** found that the formation energy variations between Pt single atom and clusters on MoX supports play a pivotal role in the growth behavior of ***,the electronic regulation of Pt induced by metal-support interaction may reflect the valence changes of Pt in Pt-MoX/*** Pt-MoC/C catalyst with a moderate valence state of Pt exhibits the best HER activity with an overpotential of 12.0 mV at 10 mA cm-2and a mass activity of 27.1 A mgPt-1,12.3 times as high as that of commercial 20 wt% Pt/*** work provides constructive guidance for the design of high-performance HER catalysts.

Orientation dependence of deformation twinning in Cu single crystals

Cu single crystals were subjected to dynamic compression plastic deformation to investigate orientation- dependent twinning. The experimental results showed that twinning is closely related to the ratio of the maximum Schmid factor for twinning partial （mt） to the maximum Schmid factor for perfect dislocation （ms）, i.e., mT/ms, rather than roT. The twin volume fraction VT increases with the rot/ms value and the most favorable orientation for twinning has the maximum roT/ms value （1.15）. The relationships of roT/ms with both effective stacking fault energy γeff and threshold stress for twinning TT were established for under- standing orientation-dependent twinning. Further insights into the orientation-dependent twinning and guidance for developing bulk high density nanotwinned materials are provided.

The impact-sliding wear behavior of steam generator tubes in nuclear power plants is complex owing to the dynamic nature of the mechanical response and self-induced tribological *** this study,the effects of impact and sliding velocity on the impact-sliding wear behavior of a 2.25Cr1Mo steel tube are investigated experimentally and *** the experimental study,a wear test rig that can measure changes in the impact and friction forces as well as the compressive displacement over different wear cycles,both in real time,is designed.A semi-analytical model based on the Archard wear law and Hertz contact theory is used to predict *** results indicate that the impact dynamic effect by the impact velocity is more significant than that of the sliding velocity,and that both velocities affect the friction force and wear *** experimental results for the wear depth evolution agree well with the corresponding simulation predictions.

By extending the classical analysis techniques due to Samokish, Faddeev and Faddee- va, and Longsine and McCormick among others, we prove the convergence of the precon- ditioned steepest descent with implicit deflation （PSD-id） method for solving Hermitian- definite generalized eigenvalue problems. Furthermore, we derive a nonasymptotie estimate of the rate of convergence of the PSD-id method. We show that with a proper choice of the shift, the indefinite shift-and-invert preconditioner is a locally accelerated preconditioner, and is asymptotically optimal which leads to superlinear convergence numerical examples are presented to verify the theoretical results on the convergence behavior of the PSD- id method for solving ill-conditioned Hermitian-definite generalized eigenvalue problems arising from electronic structure calculations. While rigorous and full-scale convergence proofs of preconditioned block steepest descent methods in practical use still largely eludes us, we believe the theoretical results presented in this paper shed light on an improved understanding of the convergence behavior of these block methods.

Surface alloying of Al films/Ti substrate based on high-current pulsed electron beams irradiation

Ti–Al surface alloy was fabricated using a cyclic pulsed liquid-phase mixing of predeposited 100 nm Al film with a-Ti substrate by low-energy high-current electron beam. Electron probe micro-analysis（EPMA）,grazing incidence X-ray diffraction analysis（GIXRD）,transmission electron microscopy（TEM）, and nanoindentation were used to investigate the characterization of Ti–Al surface alloy. The experimental results show that the thickness of alloy layer is ＊3 lm, and the content of Al in the ＊1 lm thickness surface layer is ＊60 at%. The tetragonal TiAl and TiAl2intermetallics were synthesized at the top surface, which have nanocrystalline *** main phase formed in the ＊2.5 lm thick surface is TiAl, and there are few TiAl2and Ti3Al phase for the *** is enhanced in the alloyed layer. The nanohardness of Ti–Al surface alloy increased significantly compared with a-Ti substrate due to the nanostructure and enhanced dislocation. Since the e-beam remelted repeatedly, the Ti–Al surface alloy mixed sufficiently with Ti substrate. Moreover, there is no obvious boundary between the alloyed layer and substrate.

Shor's algorithm does not factor large integers in the presence of noise

We consider Shor's quantum factoring algorithm in the setting of noisy quantum gates. Under a generic model of random noise for(controlled) rotation gates, we prove that the algorithm does not factor integers of the form pq when the noise exceeds a vanishingly small level in terms of n—the number of bits of the integer to be factored, where p and q are from a well-defined set of primes of positive density. We further prove that with probability 1-o(1) over random prime pairs(p, q), Shor's factoring algorithm does not factor numbers of the form pq, with the same level of random noise present.

Aerodynamic load control on a dynamically pitching wind turbine airfoil using leading-edge protuberance method

The aerodynamic loads of wind turbine blades are substantially affected by dynamic stall induced by the variations of the angle of attack of local airfoil *** purpose of the present study is to explore the effect of leading-edge protuberances on the fluctuation of the aerodynamic performances for wind turbine airfoil during dynamic *** experimental investigation is carried out by a direct force measurement technique employing force balance at a Reynolds number Re=2×*** phase-averaged and instantaneous aerodynamic loads of the pitching airfoil,including the baseline and the wavy airfoil,are presented and *** phase-averaged results indicate that the effects of dynamic stall for the wavy airfoil can be delayed or minimized compared to the baseline airfoil,and the negative damping area of the wavy airfoil is significant decreased in full-stall *** effects of leading-edge protuberances are more notable at a higher reduced *** the instantaneous aerodynamic loads of the wavy airfoil,there is an observable reduction in fluctuations compared with baseline ***,spectral analysis is applied to quantitatively undercover the nonstationary features of the instantaneous aerodynamic *** is found that the leading edge protuberances can reduce the harmonics of the aerodynamic force signal,and enhance the stability of the aerodynamic loads under different reduced *** conclusion,leading-edge protuberances are found effective to reduce the fluctuation characteristics of the aerodynamic loads during the dynamic stall process,and help to improve the stability and prolong the service life of the wind turbine blades.
