Design and mechanism insight on SiC quantum dots sensitized inverse opal TiO_(2) with superior photocatalytic activities under sunlight

The combination of SiC quantum dots sensitized inverse opal TiO_(2) photocatalyst is designed in this work and then applied in wastewater purification under simulated sunlight.From various spectroscopic techniques,it is found that electrons transfer directionally from SiC quantum dots to inverse opal TiO_(2),and the energy difference between their conduction/valence bands can reduce the recombination rate of photogenerated carriers and provide a pathway with low interfacial resistance for charge transfer inside the composite.As a result,a typical type-II mechanism is proved to dominate the photoinduced charge transfer process.Meanwhile,the composite achieves excellent photocatalytic performances(the highest apparent kinetic constant of 0.037 min^(-1)),which is 6.2 times(0.006 min^(-1))and 2.1 times(0.018 min^(-1))of the bare inverse opal TiO_(2) and commercial P25 photocatalysts.Therefore,the stability and non-toxicity of SiC quantum dots sensitized inverse opal TiO_(2) composite enables it with great potential in practical photocatalytic applications.

In this study,high-gravity intensified heterogeneous catalytic ozonation is utilized for treatment of phenol-containing wastewater,and the kinetics of the direct reaction between ozone and phenol in the presence of excess tertiary butanol(TBA)is investigated.It is revealed that the direct reaction between ozone and phenol in the rotating packed bed(RPB)follows the pseudo-first-order kinetics with a reaction rate constant higher than that in the conventional bubbling reactor(BR).Under different conditions of temperature,initial pH,high-gravity factor,and gaseous ozone concentration,the apparent reaction rate constant varies in the range of 0.0160–0.115 min-1.An empirical power-exponential model is established to characterize the effects of these parameters on the direct reaction between ozone and phenol by high-gravity intensified heterogeneous catalytic ozonation.

The ever-increasing demands for advanced lithium-ion batteries with high energy density have greatly stimulated the pursuit of thick electrodes with high active material loading.However,it is not feasible to prepare thick electrodes with traditional coating methods due to mechanical instability.Herein,using single-wall carbon nanotubes(SWCNT)as conductive carbon and binder,free-standing LiMn_(2)O_(4) thick electrodes(F-LMO)with ultrahigh-mass loading up to~190 mg cm^(-2)were prepared by vacuum filtration combined with freeze-drying.The thick electrodes with~30 mg cm^(-2)mass loading achieved a high specific capacity of 106.7 mAh g^(-1)with a good capacity retention of 94%over 50 cycles at 0.5 C,which was superior to the traditional coating electrodes(~20 mg cm^(-2))of 99.3 mAh g^(-1)with 95%because of the enhanced electronic conductivity originated from SWCNT.In addition,the high active material ratio of 97.5 wt%,near-theoretical reversible capacity,and high mass loading gave ultrathick F-LMO electrodes(600μm)of~190 mg cm^(-2)with a remarkable areal capacity of 20 mAh cm^(-2).Moreover,the concentration polarization that occurred in the thick F-LMO electrodes under high current density was discussed via electrochemical stimulation.

The mixing of raw materials in a rotary drum bioreactor is important for advanced solid-state fermentation technology.However,the shape,size,and other properties of pulverized sweet sorghum stalk particles are more complicated than those of the spherical particles.In this study,a soft rod-shaped discrete particle model was established and verified to simulate the mixing behavior of sweet sorghum stalk particles in a rotary drum bioreactor.We were inspired by the particle shape and established a rod-shaped particle model by investigating the influence of the shape(length-diameter ratio)and size(diameter)on the particle packing(stack height and bed porosity).We used orthogonal simulations and extremum difference analysis to determine the main factors,optimum level,and groups of other parameters.Based on calibrated parameters,twelve sets of simulations of radial mixing in the drum were performed,and the results were compared with experiments conducted under identical operating conditions.The average relative error between the simulation and the experiment was 10.95%,which indicates that they agreed well and that the simulation could predict the mixing process well.

Herein,we demonstrate a tetradic double-network physical cross-linking hydrogel comprising of gelatin,polyacrylic acid,tannic acid,and aluminum chloride as wearable hydrogel sensors.Based on the coordination bonds,hydrogen bonds,and chain entanglements of the two networks,the acquired hydrogel possesses excellent tensile properties,self-healing performance,and adhesiveness to many substrates.Mechanical properties can be tuned with fracture strain ranging from 900 to 2200%and tensile strength ranging from 24 to 216 kPa,respectively.Besides,the hydrogel also exhibits good strain-sensitivity when monitoring the motions of humans,such as bending of fingers,bending of elbows.Hence,we can believe that the GATA hydrogel has numerous applications in soft robots,intelligent wearable devices,and human health supervision.

研究借鉴冈恩和瓦尔(Gunn&Var)提出的旅游规划包含5个供给面的理论和已有城市旅游形象影响因素的研究成果,归纳出评价城市旅游形象的5个影响因素,采用问卷调查的方式,针对国庆期间来京旅游的国内游客搜集资料,并借助Excel、SPSS17.0统计分析软件对数据进行处理。研究发现:1)国庆期间国内游客对北京市旅游形象感知5个影响因素的评价从高到低依序为:旅游设施、旅游氛围、旅游环境、旅游价格和旅游服务;2)5个影响因素与北京市旅游形象呈正相关关系,以旅游服务的影响力最大;3)来京游客对北京市旅游形象影响因素改造提升是持支持的态度。

Nowadays,as the number of textual data is exponentially increasing,sentiment analysis has become one of the most significant tasks in natural language processing(NLP)with increasing attention.Traditional Chinese sentiment analysis algorithms cannot make full use of the order information in context and are inefficient in sentiment inference.In this paper,we systematically reviewed the classic and representative works in sentiment analysis and proposed a simple but efficient optimization.First of all,FastText was trained to get the basic classification model,which can generate pre-trained word vectors as a by-product.Secondly,Bidirectional Long Short-Term Memory Network(Bi-LSTM)utilizes the generated word vectors for training and then merges with FastText to make comprehensive sentiment analysis.By combining FastText and Bi-LSTM,we have developed a new fast sentiment analysis,called FAST-BiLSTM,which consistently achieves a balance between performance and speed.In particular,experimental results based on the real datasets demonstrate that our algorithm can effectively judge sentiments of users’comments,and is superior to the traditional algorithm in time efficiency,accuracy,recall and F1 criteria.

为解决建筑交通阻隔、电磁机械干扰等复杂城市环境导致的城市地质勘探受限难题,快速查明隧道洞室的位置和埋深,排除施工安全隐患,以某城市轨道交通隧道探测项目为例,采用具有抗干扰能力和狭小空间适应性的多源频率域地震勘探法,通过多点分布式地震采集站获取三分量的多源频率域地震信号,提取主动源、被动源面波综合频散曲线和微动谱比曲线,在此基础上进行特征曲线的联合建模与反演,获得高精度的地层横波速度剖面。应用结果表明:1)多源频率域地震勘探法探测速度快,其数据采集效率约为同类技术的3倍,且能通过采集站和移动端2种方式对硬件和数据进行监测,有效保证了数据质量;2)通过多类型数据的联合建模与反演,提升了地层探测精度,能较好反映地层的横波速度分布情况进而圈定异常;3)隧道顶板的探测结果与实际位置误差为3.3%,凸显了该方法在城市隧道洞室探测方面的有效性。
