Developing highly conductive,stable,and active hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)catalysts is a critical step towards establishing the hydrogen ***,there are few catalysts,except for noble metals,that can meet all the ***,two-dimensional(2D)transition metal carbon/nitride(MXene)materials have shown excellent performance in catalysis,and have attracted wide attention from *** this study,the effectiveness of non-metal element(B,C,N,P,and S)-doped Ti_(3)C_(2)O_(2)MXene in the electrocatalytic hydrogen evolution reaction was investigated using density functional theory(DFT)***-metal atoms as elec-tron donors can provide additional electrons to the O functional group on the catalyst surface,thereby reducing charge transfer from H to O and the interaction between H and *** Gibbs free energy(ΔG H)of non-metal element-doped Ti_(3)C_(2)O_(2)is closer to 0 than that of pristine Ti_(3)C_(2)O_(2),demonstrating better hydrogen evolution ***,in the hydrogen evolution path,the desorption process is more inclined to the Hey-rovsky mechanism,and doping greatly reduces the energy barrier of the reaction,thereby improving the catalytic *** present results prove that doping with non-metallic elements is an effective means of improving the catalytic activity of Ti_(3)C_(2)O_(2)for hydrogen evolution.

Lithium-oxygen batteries(LOBs)have extensive applications because of their ultra-high energy ***,the practical application of LOBs is limited by several factors,such as a high overpotential,poor cycle stability,and limited rate *** this paper,we describe the successful uniform loading of Mn_(3)O_(4) nanoparticles onto multi-walled carbon nanotubes(Mn_(3)O_(4)@CNT).CNTs form a conductive network and expose numerous catalytically active sites,and the one-dimensional porous structure provides a convenient channel for the transmission of Li+and O2 in *** electronic conductivity and electrocatalytic activity of Mn_(3)O_(4)@CNT are significantly better than those of MnO@CNT because of the inherent driving force facilitating charge transfer between different valence metal ***,the Mn_(3)O_(4)@CNT cathode obtains a low overpotential(0.76 V at a limited capacity of 1000 mAh g^(-1)),high initial discharge capacity(16895 mAh g^(-1) at 200 mA g^(-1)),and long cycle life(97 cycles at 200 mA g^(-1)).This study provides evidence that transition metal oxides with mixed-valence states are suitable for application as efficient cathodes for LOBs.

Surgical treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma with cirrhotic esophageal varices and hypersplenism: a 184 case report

In treating hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)patients with advanced cirrhosis,one of the most difficult problems is concomitant esophageal varices and *** these conditions should be treated surgically in association with HCC resection is still in *** elucidate whether esophageal devascularization or splenectomy is beneficial when simultaneously performed with liver resection in HCC patients with both varices and hypersplenism,HCC patients(n=184)with esophageal varices and hypersplenism received one of the three treatments:simultaneous liver resection and esophageal devascularization(Group I,n=41);simultaneous liver resection and splenectomy(Group II,n=61);liver resection only(Group III,n=82).The incidences of postoperative complications of the three groups were 31.7%,29.5%and 24.4%,respectively,with no significant difference among *** 5-year tumor-free survival rates for the group I,group II and group III were 34.1%,36.1%and 37.8%,*** bleeding caused death by only 4.2%in group I,but by 14.3%in group II and 23.2%in group *** survival rates in the group I and the group II were comparable to those in the group III,however,the recurrences of postoperative fatal variceal bleeding in group I and group II were significantly lower than those in group *** results suggest that HCC patients with esophageal varices and hypersplenism should undergo hepatic resection plus esophageal devascularization or splenectomy if radical resection of HCC can be expected.

It is hard to treat the underwater weld seam images for the reason of bad brightness, low contrast and less welding seam information, so a new enhancement algorithm is proposed here. Firstly, the high frequency component was separated by Gaussian filter from origin image, and then it is processed by improved local contrast enhancement(LCE) algorithm to enhance the edge information. Secondly, the gamma transform with adaptive parameters was used to strengthen the image brightness, furthermore, contrast limited adaptive histogram equalization(CLAHE) algorithm was applied to enhance the image contrast. Finally, the two manipulated images were integrated together to obtain the desired image. Experiments on typical images were carried out, and evaluation results showed that this designed algorithm can effectively improve image contrast, highlight welding seam information. Moreover, the image average grey value was moderate, and the information entropy and average gradient were much higher than other algorithms.

Objective: To longitudinally assess dynamic changes of iron deposition and volume of the precentral gyrus and its correlation with clinical manifestations of Relapse-Remitting Multiple Sclerosis(RRMS) by using 3D enhanced T2* weighted angiography(ESWAN). Methods: Thirty RRMS patients and thirty age- and sex-matched healthy controls were recruited and underwent ESWAN and 3D T1WI twice interval of one year with the same parameters. The mean phase values (MPVs) and volumes in precentral gyrus gray matter (PGM) were measured, and change of iron content and its correlation with volume, clinical manifestations were analyzed. Results: Compared with controls, the RRMS had higher iron deposition in both single-time measurements, but the volume decreased. Comparing to the first scan, we found significant difference in MPVs between the two times (P rs = 0.764, P rs = 0.592, P rs = 0.582, P rs = -0.399, P rs = -0.745, P rs = -0.367, P Conclusions: With the disease progression, the content of iron in PGM in RRMS patients is increasing, while the volume has no obvious change, suggesting that the iron deposition may precede or develop faster than cerebral atrophy.

胰腺囊性肿瘤的良恶性分类对于医学决策至关重要,本文致力于提高胰腺囊性肿瘤的分类准确性,以辅助医生更精确地制定诊疗方案。基于影像组学技术和ResNet50神经网络,提出了融合多核学习和多源特征的胰腺囊性肿瘤分类方法,其关键步骤包括特征筛选、核矩阵融合及构建分类模型。首先采用最小绝对收缩与选择算子(Least absolute shrinkage and selection operator,LASSO)进行特征筛选,减少冗余特征,提高模型的泛化能力;然后选取经过特征筛选的多源特征,通过在基础核函数中进行特征映射,构建多源特征的基础核矩阵,优化选取核矩阵的权重系数,并加权相加这些基础核矩阵以形成融合的核矩阵;最后,利用支持向量机(Support vector machine,SVM)分类器对胰腺浆液性和黏液性囊性肿瘤进行分类。这一过程的关键在于,SVM可以利用核矩阵在高维空间中内积,在高维空间中寻找一个超平面来分类数据,而融合的核矩阵中包含了经过特征映射的多源信息,可以提供更高维度和更复杂的特征表示。实验结果表明,该方法在胰腺囊性肿瘤良恶性分类任务中取得了显著的性能提升,可为医生提供更可靠的辅助信息,具有显著的临床应用潜力。

Problems and Solutions about Land Use of Different Karst Environments in Southern China

This paper is aimed to analyze the current situation and problems about land use of various karst environments via field survey,documentation and comparison methods,and to make reasonable recommendations about land use and management for different karst types in a bid to provide theoretical and practical basis for optimization of karst land use and the comprehensive control of karst rock *** results show that,①as the bare karst areas are lack of water and soil and highly vulnerable to droughts and floods,land utilization in such areas should follow the principles of soil and water conservation and ecological restoration,emphasize both the ecological benefit and the economic benefits and reasonably configure the land resources to achieve virtuous circle;②in covered karst areas,the most important task is to take measures to prevent the appearance of secondary karst rock desertification,water exhaustion and karst collapse;③the buried karst areas shall mainly focus on prevention of overlaying sand shale collapse,and possible pollution of deep karst water and the surface land resulted from exploration and exploitation of oil and gas and geothermal water.④The final conclusion is that features and problems of land utilization of the three karst types are different from each other,and that the general principle for land use in karst regions shall be based on the local conditions.
