Development of a poly(arylene sulfide sulfone)antibacterial electrospun film as a skin wound dressing application

Tissue engineering has become a hot issue for skin wound healing because it can be used as an alternative treatment to traditional *** films have been widely used due to their excellent *** this work,an organic/inorganic composite poly(arylene sulfide sulfone)/ZnO/graphene oxide(PASS/ZnO/GO)nanofibrous film was fabricated with the ZnO nano-particles blending in an electrospun solution and post-treated with the GO *** optimal PASS/ZnO/GO nanofibrous film was prepared by 2%ZnO nanoparticles,3.0g/mL PASS electrospun solution,and 1%GO dispersion *** morphology,hydrophilicity,mechanical property,and cytotoxicity of the PASS/ZnO/GO nanofibrous film were character-ized by using scanning electron microscopy,transmission electron microscope,water contact angle,tensile testing,and a Live/Dead cell staining *** is founded that the PASS/ZnO/GO nanofibrous film has outstanding mechanical properties and no ***,the PASS/ZnO/GO nanofibrous film exhibits excellent antibacterial activity to both Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus *** all,this high mechanical property in the non-toxic and antibacterial nanofibrous film will have excellent application prospects in skin wound dressing.

中华鳖卵黄蛋白原基因克隆与表达及外源E2的影响

为探究中华鳖(Pelodiscus sinensis)卵黄蛋白原Vtg基因的生物学信息与表达及其作为生理与毒理研究标志物的可行性,本实验克隆获得VtgAB1、VtgAB2、VtgAB3(GenBank登录号OK287927、OK287929、OK287928)基因序列,其cDNA长分别为5055、5537、5306 bp,分别编码了1684、1760、1725个氨基酸。三种亚型Vtg蛋白均由脂蛋白N-末端(Vitellogenin_N)、1943DUF、1944DUF、PV、D型血管血友病因子(VWD)5个保守结构域构成,为完整型Vtg。同源性分析发现皆与龟鳖目具有更近的亲缘关系,同时在3种亚型中VtgAB2与VtgAB3更相似。荧光定量PCR显示,3种亚型Vtg只在雌性肝脏中强烈表达。在60日龄、2龄、4龄雌性个体肝脏中,Vtg表达量随年龄呈上升趋势,VtgAB1、VtgAB2为主要表达亚型。原位杂交结果显示,3种亚型Vtg在卵原细胞内未发现杂交信号;在生长期卵母细胞胞质和滤泡细胞中发现杂交信号;成熟期卵母细胞胞质中未发现杂交信号,在滤泡细胞和周围的网状组织中发现杂交信号。信号在初级卵母细胞的细胞质中分布较为均匀且表达最强,随着卵母细胞的发育信号聚集在核周区且信号逐渐减弱。以雄性中华鳖为对象,注射雌激素E2,3种亚型Vtg表达量表现出明显的时间和剂量相关性。研究结果表明,在中华鳖卵黄积累过程中Vtg发挥重要作用,首次证实其Vtg存在内源性合成,并发现其可以作为雌激素暴露的生物标志物。

Release characteristics of different diameter ultrafine fibers as antibacterial materials

Although the electrospinning technique has been devoted to promoting therapeutic purposes as a drug carrier,however,there are still many fundamental problems in this *** work focuses on a comparison of various diameter polyethersulfone(PES)electrospun ultrafine fibers as an-timicrobial *** fibrous morphology,antimicrobial agent distribution,thermally property,and biocompatibility evaluation of PES-based ultrafine fibers were systematically *** results demonstrated that the PES-based ultrafine fibers were suitable as anti-microbial ***,the drug release behavior and mechanism were studied through total *** release mechanism was confirmed to Fickian *** was revealed that the drug max release amount(71.5%)and release rate(7.71)are the highest for the smallest diameter ultrafine ***,the antimicrobial activity of PES ultrafine fibers is also inversely correlated with the diameter of *** electrospun PES fibers would control their release behavior through the diameter and have a potential application in the wound dressings,such as chronic osteomyelitis and exposure injury.

Humic acid-mediated transport of a typical soil passivation remediation product(chloropyromorphite)in saturated porous media

Conversion of labile Pb species into chloropyromorphite(CPY)using phosphorus-bearing amendments was considered to be an ideal strategy in soil passivation ***,the fate and transport of CPY in the soil are poorly *** study aims to fill the knowledge gap by evaluating the fate and transport of CPY under environmentally relevant conditions of humic acid(HA),pH,electrolyte concentration,and species through the saturated sandy *** showed that bare CPY colloids are basically immobile in sandy porous media while the co-existence of HA made the transport of CPY improved by30%-93.5%.Facilitated transport of CPY was attributed to the increased stability of CPY and the repulsive interaction between CPY particles and sands due to HA *** mobility of CPY was also increased with increasing pH from 5.0 to *** the pH was 9 with a10 mmol/L NaCl background solution,the stronger energy barrier between CPY and sand led to enhanced transport *** divalent Ca^(2+)had a more dramatic effect than monovalent Na^(+)on the aggregation and sedimentation of CPY colloids due to its effectivescreening of the surface charge of CPY and bridging interaction with CPY ***-LandauVerwey-Overbeek theory and attachment efficiency calculation indicated that high energy barriers were responsible for the high mobility of CPY colloids,while the retention of CPY in sands was mainly caused by secondary energy minimum and physically *** findings of this work can help to evaluate the fate of soil passivation remediation products in natural water and soil.

High speed sintering,a new powder-bed fusion additive manufacturing technology,utilizes infrared lights(IR)to intensely heat and melt polymer *** presence of defects such as porosity,which is associated with particle coalescence,is highly dependdent on the level of energy *** study investigate the influcence of energy input on porosity and its subsequent effects on the mechanical properties and microstructures of PEBA *** parts were manufactured with a variety of lamp powers,resulting in a range of energy input levels spanning from low to ***,they underwent testing using Archimedes’method,followed by tensile *** porosity,mechanical characteristics,and energy input exhibit a strong correlation;inadequate energy input was the primary cause of pore *** the reduced IR light power resulted in the following outcomes:porosity,ultimate tensile strength,and elongation of 1.37%,7.6 MPa,and 194.2%,*** the energy input was further increased,the porosity was reduced to as low as 0.05%and the ultimate tensile strength and elongation were increased to their peak values of 233.8%and 9.1 MPa,respectively.

High-sensitivity formaldehyde gas sensor based on Ce-doped urchin-like SnO_(2) nanowires derived from calcination of Sn-MOFs

Metal-organic frameworks(MOFs)have attracted widespread attention due to their regular structures,multiple material centers,and various *** are always considered as one kind of ideal templates for developing highly sensitive and selective gas *** this study,the advantages of MOFs with the high specific surface area(71.9891 m^(2)·g^(-1))and uniform morphology were fully utilized,and urchin-like SnO_(2) nanowires were obtained by the hydrothermal method followed by the calcination using Sn-MOFs consisting of the ligand of C_(9)H_(6)O_(6)(H_(3)BTC)and Sn/Ce center ions as sacrificial *** unique urchin-like nanowire structure facilitated gas diffusion and adsorption,resulting in superior gas sensitivity.A series of Ce-doped SnO_(2) nanowires with different doping ratios were synthesized,and their gas sensing properties towards formaldehyde were *** resulted Ce-SnO_(2) was revealed to have high sensitivity(201.2 at 250℃),rapid response(4 s),long-term stability,and good repeatability for formaldehyde sensing,and the gas sensing mechanism of Ce-SnO_(2) exposed to formaldehyde was also systematically discussed.

Risk Constrained Self-scheduling of AA-CAES Facilities in Electricity and Heat Markets:A Distributionally Robust Optimization Approach

Robot-Oriented 6G Satellite-UAV Networks: Requirements, Paradigm Shifts, and Case Studies

Networked robots can perceive their surroundings, interact with each other or humans,and make decisions to accomplish specified tasks in remote/hazardous/complex environments. Satelliteunmanned aerial vehicle(UAV) networks can support such robots by providing on-demand communication services. However, under traditional open-loop communication paradigm, the network resources are usually divided into user-wise mostly-independent links,via ignoring the task-level dependency of robot collaboration. Thus, it is imperative to develop a new communication paradigm, taking into account the highlevel content and values behind, to facilitate multirobot operation. Inspired by Wiener’s Cybernetics theory, this article explores a closed-loop communication paradigm for the robot-oriented satellite-UAV network. This paradigm turns to handle group-wise structured links, so as to allocate resources in a taskoriented manner. It could also exploit the mobility of robots to liberate the network from full coverage,enabling new orchestration between network serving and positive mobility control of robots. Moreover,the integration of sensing, communications, computing and control would enlarge the benefit of this new paradigm. We present a case study for joint mobile edge computing(MEC) offloading and mobility control of robots, and finally outline potential challenges and open issues.
