A developed ant colony algorithm for cancer molecular subtype classification to reveal the predictive biomarker in the renal cell carcinoma

Background:Recently,researchers have been attracted in identifying the crucial genes related to cancer,which plays important role in cancer diagnosis and treatment.However,in performing the cancer molecular subtype classification task from cancer gene expression data,it is challenging to obtain those significant genes due to the high dimensionality and high noise of data.Moreover,the existing methods always suffer from some issues such as premature convergence.Methods:To address those problems,we propose a new ant colony optimization(ACO)algorithm called DACO to classify the cancer gene expression datasets,identifying the essential genes of different diseases.In DACO,first,we propose the initial pheromone concentration based on the weight ranking vector to accelerate the convergence speed;then,a dynamic pheromone volatility factor is designed to prevent the algorithm from getting stuck in the local optimal solution;finally,the pheromone update rule in the Ant Colony System is employed to update the pheromone globally and locally.To demonstrate the performance of the proposed algorithm in classification,different existing approaches are compared with the proposed algorithm on eight high-dimensional cancer gene expression datasets.Results:The experiment results show that the proposed algorithm performs better than other effective methods in terms of classification accuracy and the number of feature sets.It can be used to address the classification problem effectively.Moreover,a renal cell carcinoma dataset is employed to reveal the biological significance of the proposed algorithm from a number of biological analyses.Conclusion:The results demonstrate that CAPS may play a crucial role in the occurrence and development of renal clear cell carcinoma.

Fluid Charging and Paleo-pressure Evolution in the Ledong Slope Zone of the Yinggehai Basin,South China Sea

Large numbers of gas reservoirs have been discovered in overpressure basins.Fluid charging has a close relationship with paleo-pressure evolution,affecting the migration of gas reservoirs.To study fluid charging and the related pressure system,we analyzed burial histories and fluid inclusion(PVTx)simulations and conducted basin modeling of the Ledong Slope Zone in the Yinggehai Basin as an example.On the basis of fluid-inclusion assemblages(FIAs),homogenization temperature(Th),final melting temperature(Tm,ice)and Raman spectroscopy in fluid inclusions,there are three stages of fluid charging:during the first and second stage,methane-dominated fluid was charged at 2.2–1.7 ma and 1.7–0.9 ma,respectively.In the third stage,CO_(2)-rich hydrothermal fluid was charged since 0.9 ma.It could be concluded from the well-logging data that the disequilibrium compaction in the Yinggehai Fm.,along with the fluid expansion and clay diagenesis in the Huangliu and Meishan formations,resulted in the overpressure in the Ledong slope zone.The evolution of paleo-pressure was affected by the sedimentation rate of the Yinggehai Fm.,as well as the hydrocarbon generation rate.Additionally,the Ledong Slope Zone is less affected by diapir activity than the nearby diapir area.Based on fluid inclusions,paleo-pressure,basin modeling and geological background,the gas migration history of the Ledong Slope Zone can be divided into four stages:in the first stage,excess pressure was formed around 5 ma;from 2.2 to 1.7 ma,there was a reduction in the charging of hydrocarbon fluid and steadily increasing excess pressure;during the 1.7–0.9 ma period a large amount of hydrocarbon was generated,excess pressure increasing significantly and hydraulic fractures forming in mudstones,With gas reservoirs developing in structural highs;since 0.9 ma,CO_(2)-rich hydrothermal fluid accumulated in reservoirs adjacent to faults and the pressure coefficient remained stable.The research results are helpful in the study of fluid migration and accumulation mechanisms i

Ordered lamellar hybrid membranes are of great interest,due to their application as functional materials,including molecular sieving,biosensors,optical devices,and drug,as well as gene deliveries,but their fabrication remains challenging because three critical issues regarding synthesis of regular nanosheets,interfacing,and their spatial distribution in a polymer matrix are difficult to address simultaneously.Here,we fabricated a well-defined hybrid lamellar membrane through one-pot self-assembly,whose structure consisted of alternating layers of hydrophilic hyperbranched poly(ether amine)(hPEA)and polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxane(POSS).

Cell-penetrating riboflavin conjugate for antitumor photodynamic therapy

Riboflavin(RF,vitamin B2)is an essential vitamin and has been considered as a promising natural photosensitizer for photodynamic therapy(PDT).However,further exploration of RF in antitumor application was limited by its poor cellular uptake.In this study,using cell-penetrating peptides Arg8,(Cha-Arg)3 and small molecule triphenylphosphine(TPP)as delivery compounds,three RF conjugates were prepared to increase the accumulation of RF in cells,termed as Arg8-RF,(Cha-Arg)3-RF and TPP-RF,respectively.Compared with TPP-RF and Arg8-RF,(Cha-Arg)3-RF exhibited better cell internalization and stronger cytotoxicity against HeLa cells upon exposure to blue light.Further researches proved that(Cha-Arg)3-RF generated reactive oxygen species(ROS)under irradiation,which could indiscriminately destroy endogenous proteins and mitochondria,ultimately inducing cell death.This work provides a new approach to explore RF as a natural photosensitizer for antitumor photodynamic therapy.

Hyperbranched poly(ether amine)(hPEA)as novel backbone for amphiphilic one-component type-Ⅱ polymeric photoinitiators

To make photoinitiators （PI） to be polymeric and water-soluble is an effective approach to develop the high efficient photoinitiator systems with low-migration, low-toxic and environment-friend. We developed a series of novel amphiphilic hyperhranched polymeric photoinitiators （hPEA-TXs, and hPEA- BPs） by introducing thioxanthone （TX） or benzophenone （BP） moieties into the periphery of the hyperbranched poly（ether amine）（hPEA） comprised of the hydrophilic poly（ethylene oxide）（PEO） short chain and coinitiator amine moieties in the backbone. Compared with their water-soluble low-molecular weight analogues, the resulting hyperbranched polymeric photoinitiators hPEA101-TX, hPEA211-TX, hPEA101-BP and hPEA211-BP could be dissolved very well not only in many organic systems including acrylate monomers, but also in water with high solubility of 10 wt~. The photopolymerization kinetics of water-soluble monomer acrylamide （AM） and three hydrophobic multifunctional acrylate monomers initiated by these hyperbranched photoinitiators were investigated in detail by photo-differential scanning calorimetric （photo-DSC）. Both hPEA-TXs and hPEA-BPs can initiate photopolymerization of AM as efficiently as their low-molecular weight analogues MGA-TX and MGA-BP, respectively. The final double bond conversion （DBC） of oil-soluble monomer hexanediol diacrylate （HDDA） photoinitiated by these hyperbranched photoinitiators can reach as high as 99%. Especially for photopolymerization of multifunctional monomers initiated by these hyperbranched polymeric photoinitiators, the final DBC of trimethylolpropane triacrylate （TMPTA） and pentaerythritol tetraacrylate （PETTA） can reach 80% and 60%, respectively, which is much higher than that of low-molecular weight photoinitiators.

A Multifunctional Cobalt (Ⅱ) Metal-Organic Framework with Nanoporous Channels for Gas and Dye Absorption, and magnetic Performance

Coordination polymer{[Co(BTIA)(H_(2)O)0.5]·1.5CH_(3)OH}n(Co-1)was synthesized from Co(NO_(3))_(2)·6H_(2)O and multidentate ligand 4,6-bis-(4H-1,2,4-triazol-1-yl)-isophthalic acid(H_(2)BTIA)under solvothermal conditions.Crystal analysis found that Co-1 was a(4^(4)·6^(2))_(2)(4^(16)·6^(12))3D framework with one dimensional channels,which gives it good adsorption performance for greenhouse gas CO_(2) and anionic dyes CR^(2-) and TY^(-).In particular for the large-size CR^(2-),it behaves a very fast removal rate.In addition,magnetic analysis discloses that antiferromagnetic(AF)coupling exists in binuclear cobalt unit.

在城市轨道交通系统中,制约单条线路运能提升的主要瓶颈是折返站的折返能力。以实现乌鲁木齐轨道交通1号线远期100万人次运能为目标,分析列车折返能力。基于图解法对折返站的站前单渡线折返、站后单渡线折返、站前站后交替折返和站后双渡线交替折返这4种折返方式的折返时间、折返能力进行了分析与计算;根据不同的折返能力对线路运能进行了计算与分析;从实际行车组织的角度出发,给出了不同行车间隔条件下的折返方式选择。

Reaction mechanism and kinetics of pressurized pyrolysis of Chinese oil shale in the presence of water

A study of reaction mechanisms and chemical kinetics of pressurized pyrolysis of Chinese Liushuhe oil shale in the presence of water were conducted using an autoclave for simulating and modeling in-situ underground thermal degradation.It was found that the oil shale was first pyrolyzed to form pyrobitumen,shale oil,shale gas and residue,then the pyrobitumen was further pyrolyzed to form more shale oil,shale gas,and residue.It means that there are two consecutive and parallel reactions.With increasing temperature,the pyrobitumen yield,as intermediate,first reached a maximum,then decreased to approximately zero.The kinetics results show that both these reactions are first order.The activation energy of pyrobitumen formation from oil shale is lower than that of shale oil formation from pyrobitumen.
