An automatic intelligent system for the colour and texture inspection of bakery products is *** this system,advance classification technique featuring Support Vector Machine and biologically inspired HMAX based shape descriptor integrated with biologically plausible RGB Opponent-Colour-Channel Descriptor is used to classify bakery products to their respective classes based on the shape and based on their colour referring to different baking durations. The results of this paper are compared with other methods for the automatic bakery products inspection. It is discovered that biologically inspired computer vision models performs accurately and efficiently as compared to the computer vision models which are not biologically plausible,in the bakery products quality inspection. It is also discovered that the One Versus One SVM and Directed Acyclic Graph SVM acquired the maximum accurate classification rate. The proposed method acquired classification accuracy of 95% and 100% for the biscuit shape and biscuit colour recognition,respectively. The proposed method is also consistently stable and invariant. This shows that the biologically inspired computer vision models have the capability to replace existing inspection methods as more reliable and accurate alternative.

The magnitude of soil erosion and sediment load reduction efficiency of check dams under extreme rainstorms is a long-standing *** current paper aims to use check dams to deduce the amount of soil erosion under extreme rainstorms in a watershed and to identify the difference in sediment interception efficiency of different types of check *** on the sediment deposition at 12 check dams with 100% sediment interception efficiency and sub-catchment clustering by taking 12 damcontrolled catchments as clustering criteria,the amount of soil erosion resulting from an extreme rainstorm event on July 26,2017(named "7·26" extreme rainstorm) was estimated in the Chabagou watershed in the hill and gully region of the Loess *** differences in the sediment interception efficiency among the check dams in the watershed were analyzed according to field observations at 17 check *** results show that the average erosion intensity under the "7-26" extreme rainstorm was approximately 2.03×104t/km2,which was 5 times that in the second largest erosive rainfall in 2017(4.15×103t/km2) and 11-384 times that for storms in 2018(0.53×102t/km2-1.81×103t/km2).Under the "7-26" extreme rainstorm,the amount of soil erosion in the Chabagou watershed above the Caoping hydrological station was 4.20 × 106 *** sediment interception efficiency of the check dams with drainage canals(including the destroyed check dams) and with drainage culverts was 6.48 and 39.49%,*** total actual sediment amount trapped by the check dams was 1.11 × 106 t,accounting for 26.36% of the total amount of soil *** contrast,3.09×106 t of sediment were input to the downstream channel,and the sediment deposition in the channel was 2.23×106t,accounting for 53.15%of the total amount of soil *** amount of sediment transport at the hydrological station was8.60×*** Sediment Delivery Ratio(SDR) under the "7·26" extreme rainstorm was *** results indicated that the amount o

Objective： To investigate PIK3CA mutation in Chinese patients with lung squamous cell carcinoma （LSCC） and explore their relationship with clinicopathological profiles. Methods： Tumor samples from 123 cases of LSCC were included in this study. PIK3CA mutations in exon 9 and 20 were screened by pyrosequencing and confirmed by clone sequencing or amplification refractory mutation system （ARMS）. Denaturing performance liquid chromatography （DHPLC） was employed for evaluation of EGFR mutation in exon 19, 21 and KRAS mutation. Results： PIK3CA mutations were found in 3 （2.4%） patients. The mutation type included E545K, E452Q and H1047R. Of these three patients, one coupled with EGFR mutation, and the other two coupled with PIK3CA amplification. All the three patients shared the same clinicopathologic characteristics： male, less than 60 years old, had smoke history, stage III and carried wild-type KRAS. Conclusions： The frequency of PIK3CA mutation is low in Chinese patients with LSCC. The mutational status of PIK3CA is not mutually exclusive to EGFR mutation.

Effect of crop leaf angle on canopy reflected spectrum cannot be ignored in the inversion of leaf area index(LAI)and the monitoring of the crop growth condition using remote sensing *** this study,experiments on winter wheat(Triticum aestivum L.)were conducted to identify crop leaf angle distribution(LAD)by bidirectional canopy reflected *** reflected spectrum has significant differences among erectophile,planophile and horizontal geometry varieties at essentially the same LAI *** reflectance value at near infrared of the erectophile variety was lower than that of the horizontal *** effects of LAI and crop LAD on canopy reflectance were studied among erectophile,planophile and horizontal LAD *** Standard Deviation(STDEV)of canopy reflectance at the near infrared bands(800 nm and 1100 nm)was more significant than those of visible bands(450 nm,550 nm,680 nm).It indicates that near infrared bands could be used for different LAD wheat varieties *** method for identification of crop geometry parameters was by the bidirectional canopy reflectance at different wave bands and view *** bidirectional reflectance of visible and near infrared bands at 15°,30°and 45°field of view for the main viewing plane could be used for identification of erectophile,planophile and horizontal LAD varieties based on bidirectional *** erectophile varieties,the bidirectional canopy reflectance at near infrared was f45°>f15°>f30°(f45°,f15°and f30°mean the canopy reflectance at 45°,15°,and 30°,respectively),in the visible band it was f45°>f15°≈f30°.For planophile varieties,the bidirectional canopy reflectance in the near infrared and visible band was f15°>f45°>f30°.For horizontal varieties,the bidirectional canopy reflectance in the near infrared and visible band was f45°>f30°>f15°.So,it is feasible to identify erectophile,planophile and horizontal varieties of wheat by bidirectional canopy reflected spectrum.

The impact of the piston wind caused by vehicle traffic on the temperature field distribution of the tunnel cannot be ignored,especially in spiral tunnels,where the temperature field distribution is more complicated than that in straight *** on the world’s longest highway spiral tunnel,this study explores the influence of traffic on the temperature fields of spiral and straight tunnels,and proposes a new design method for laying length of insulation *** results show that traffic has a significant effect on the temperature field dis-tribution in the *** influence degree of different traffic elements decreases in the following order:average vehicle speed>daily traffic>morning rush hour>evening rush *** temperature field distribution of spiral tunnels is asymmetry on the left and right compared with straight tunnels,while the influence degree of traffic on the outside of spiral tunnels is similar to that of straight *** to the difference of wind direction and traffic direction at different tunnel openings,an asymmetric insulation layer laying method is *** is suggested that the lengths of the insulation layers of the Jinjiazhuang Tunnel should be 1200 m for the right tunnel inlet,700 m for the right tunnel outlet,700 m for the left tunnel inlet,and 1400 m for the left tunnel outlet.

The sanding process caused by karstification in dolomite creates a special sandy dolomite stratum,where the frequent catastrophic instability of the surrounding rock occurred during tunnel *** this study,the micro-origin and macro-performance of the sandy dolomite stratum are first ***,a numerical model based on the coupling method between the discontinuous deformation analysis and smoothed particle hydrodynamics is proposed to depict the heterogeneous dolomite formation with different sanding ***,the mechanical behaviors of the heterogeneous dolomite samples under uniaxial compression are studied after calibrating the numerical parameters with the two single materials sampled from the tunnel site ***,the instability disasters of the dolomite surrounding rock with different sanding degrees are reproduced,and the failure behaviors of tunnels are explained with respect to the stress distribution and plastic *** obtained results show that the rotation and dislocation of the remained dolomite block contribute to the unsmooth stress–strain curve and deterioration in uniaxial compressive ***,the block serves as the skeleton in the transmission of field stress in underground space,which improves the stability of the formation.

Treatment of advanced non-small cell lung cancer with driver mutations: current applications and future directions

With the improved understanding of driver mutations in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), expanding the targeted therapeutic options improved the survival and safety. However, responses to these agents are commonly temporary and incomplete. Moreover, even patients with the same oncogenic driver gene can respond diversely to the same agent. Furthermore, the therapeutic role of immune-checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) in oncogene-driven NSCLC remains unclear. Therefore, this review aimed to classify the management of NSCLC with driver mutations based on the gene subtype, concomitant mutation, and dynamic alternation. Then, we provide an overview of the resistant mechanism of target therapy occurring in targeted alternations (“target-dependent resistance”) and in the parallel and downstream pathways (“target-independent resistance”). Thirdly, we discuss the effectiveness of ICIs for NSCLC with driver mutations and the combined therapeutic approaches that might reverse the immunosuppressive tumor immune microenvironment. Finally, we listed the emerging treatment strategies for the new oncogenic alternations, and proposed the perspective of NSCLC with driver mutations. This review will guide clinicians to design tailored treatments for NSCLC with driver mutations.
