Zirconium-based metal-organic frameworks(Zr-MOFs)have been explored for applications including but not limited to water adsorption,gas storage and separation,heterogeneous catalysis,and chemical ***-MOFs serve as a major class of functional MOFs thanks to their high thermal,chemical and hydrolytic stability,large surface area,and tunable structures with the versatile *** this work,we highlight the design and synthesis of zirconium-based MOFs as well as their ***,we demonstrate how reticular chemistry can direct the rational design and synthesis of functional ZrMOFs and describe their structure–property *** addition,we feature synthetic strategies,including isoreticular expansion,linker functionalization,node functionalization,and defect engineering,as toolkits to construct tailored material for specific applications.

The air conditioning systems in electric city buses usually operate in rapidly changing ambient conditions and are more likely to suffer from mechanical faults. Although many fault detection and diagnosis (FDD) methods have been developed for building air conditioning systems, they are difficult to be applied to bus air conditioners since its operation is highly dynamic and fault-free data are usually unavailable. Therefore, this paper proposes an FDD method for electric bus air conditioners to tackle the above issues. First, the method identifies faults in an unsupervised manner by comparing selected features among a group of peer systems. Then, considering the features are influenced by the operating conditions, Gaussian process regression (GPR) models are established to find the relationships between each feature and its influential parameters. The probabilistic nature of the GPR is used to differentiate predictions with large uncertainty, which are then excluded from FDD. In this way, robustness of the method is evidently improved. Finally, fault indexes are defined to detect and diagnose mechanical faults. We applied the method to a group of air conditioners in a city bus fleet. Results showed that it can effectively identify refrigerant undercharge and indoor and outdoor fan problems with low false positive/genitive rates. Also, the method is highly robust and not sensitive to the faulty systems in the bus fleet.

Manipulating the structure self-reconstruction of transition metal sulfide-based(pre)catalysts during the oxygen evolution reaction(OER) process is of great interest for developing cost-effective OER catalysts,which remains a central challenge. Here we realize a deep structure self-reconstruction of natural chalcopyrite to unlock its OER performance via mechanochemical activation. Compared with the manually milled counterpart(CuFeS_(2)-HM), the mechanically milled catalyst(CuFeS_(2)-BM) with a reduced crystallinity exhibits a 7.11 times higher OER activity at 1.53 V vs. RHE. In addition, the CuFeS_(2)-BM requires a low overpotential of 243 mV for generating 10 mA cm^(-2) and exhibits good stability over 24 h. Further investigations suggest that the excellent OER performance of CuFeS_(2)-BM mainly originates from the decreased crystallinity induced the in situ deep structure self-reconstruction of the originally sulfides into the electroactive and stable metal(oxy)hydroxide phase(e.g., a-Fe OOH) via S etching under OER conditions. This study demonstrates that regulating the crystallinity of catalysts is a promising design strategy for developing highly efficient OER catalysts via managing the structure self-reconstruction process, which can be further extended to the design of efficient catalysts for other advanced energy conversion devices. In addition, this study unveils the great potentials of engineering abundant natural minerals as cost-effective catalysts for diverse applications.

We prove that some holomorphic functions on the moduli space of tori have only simple *** of computing the derivative with respect to the moduli parameter τ, we introduce a conceptual proof by applying Painlevé Ⅵ equation. As an application of this simple zero property, we obtain the smoothness of the degeneracy curves of trivial critical points for some multiple Green function.

UWB radar target recognition based on time-domain bispectrum

Complex targets are irradiated by UWB radar, not only the mirror scattering echoes but also the multiscattering interacting echoes are included in target echoes. These two echoes can not be distinguished by classical frequency spectrum and power spectrurm. Time-domain bispectrum features of UWB radar signals that mingled with noise are analyzed, then processing this kind of signal using the method of time-domain bispectrum is experimented. At last, some UW-B radar returns with different signal noise ratio are simulated using the method of time-domain bispectrum Theoretical analysis and the results of simulation show that the method of extraction partial features of UWB radar targets based on time-domain bispectrum is good, and target classification and recognition can be implemented using those features.

Drainage design combining drain holes and pinholes for tunnel boring machine segments subject to high water pressure

Balance of the groundwater and ecology is crucial for controlled ***,regarding the segments of tunnel boring machines(TBMs)under high water pressure,the stability of the lining structure is often reduced by excessive drain holes required to achieve this *** large discharge of pinholes can easily have severe consequences,such as the lowering of the groundwater table,drying of springs,and vegetation ***,in this study,according to the fluid-structure coupling theory,a new drainage design for TBM segments was developed by considering a mountain tunnel subject to a high water pressure as a case *** evolution characteristics,including the external water pressure of the lining,discharge volume of the segment,and groundwater-table drawdown,were investigated via numerical modeling with drain holes and *** results indicated that the optimal design parameters of drainage segments for the project case were as follows:a circumferential spacing angle and longitudinal number on one side of a single ring of 51°and 2,respectively,for the drain holes and an inclination angle and length of 46.41°and 0.25 times the grouting thickness,respectively,for the pin holes.

Thermally Chargeable Proton Capacitor Based on Redox-Active Effect for Energy Storage and Low-Grade Heat Conversion

Thermal energy is abundantly available in our daily life and industrial production,and especially,low-grade heat is often regarded as a *** and utilizing this ignored energy by low-cost and simple technologies may become a smart countermeasure to relieve the energy ***,a unique device has been demonstrated to achieve high value-added conversion of low-grade heat by introducing redox-active organic alizarin(AZ)onto N-doped hollow carbon nanofibers(N–HCNF)***-prepared N–HCNF/AZ can deliver a high specific capacitance of 514.3 F g^(-1)(at 1 A g^(-1))and an outstanding rate capability of 60.3%even at 50 A g^(-1).Meanwhile,the assembled symmetric proton capacitor can deliver a high energy density of 28.0 Wh kg^(-1) at 350.0 W kg^(-1) and a maximum power density of 35.0 kW kg^(-1) at 17.0 Wh kg^(-1).Significantly,the thermally chargeable proton capacitors can attain a surprisingly high Seebeck coefficient of 15.3 mV K^(-1) and a power factor of 6.02µW g^(-1).Taking advantage of such high performance,a satisfying open-circuit voltage of 481.0 mV with a temperature difference of 54 K is *** research provides new insights into construction of high value-added energy systems requiring high electrochemical performances.
