Unlike conventional topological edge states confined at a domain wall between two topologically distinct media,the recently proposed large-area topological waveguide states in three-layer heterostructures,which consist of a domain featuring Dirac points sandwiched between two domains of different topologies,have introduced the mode width degree of freedom for more flexible manipulation of electromagnetic *** now,the experimental realizations of photonic large-area topological waveguide states have been exclusively based on quantum Hall and quantum valley-Hall *** propose a new way to create large-area topological waveguide states based on the photonic quantum spin-Hall system and observe their unique feature of pseudo-spin-momentum-locking unidirectional propagation for the first time in ***,due to the new effect provided by the mode width degree of freedom,the propagation of these large-area quantum spin-Hall waveguide states exhibits unusually strong robustness against defects,e.g.,large voids with size reaching several unit cells,which has not been reported ***,practical applications,such as topological channel intersection and topological energy concentrator,are further demonstrated based on these novel *** work not only completes the last member of such states in the photonic quantum Hall,quantum valley-Hall,and quantum spin-Hall family,but also provides further opportunities for high-capacity energy transport with tunable mode width and exceptional robustness in integrated photonic devices and on-chip communications.

The methylation reactions at ten nucleophilic sites in four DNA base molecules with methanediazonium ions(CH3N2+) have been theoretically investigated including solvent effects at the B3LYP/6-31G and MP2/6-31G *** results show that all the methylation reactions have relatively small activation energy(<33.5 kJ/mol),and the methylation process is exothermic reaction and easy to *** study shows that the ultimate carcinogen CH3N2+ by NDMA can easily methylate DNA base molecules and form carcinogenic products.

T cell immunoglobulin and ITIM domain(TIGIT)is a novel immune checkpoint that has been considered as a target in cancer *** available bioassays for measuring the biological activity of therapeutic antibodies targeting TIGIT are restricted to mechanistic investigations because donor primary T cells are highly ***,we designed a reporter gene assay comprising two cell lines,namely,CHO-CD112-CD3 scFv,which stably expresses CD 112(PVRL2,nectin-2)and a membranebound anti-CD3 single-chain fragment variable(scFv)as the target cell,and Jurkat-NFAT-TIGIT,which stably expresses TIGIT as well as the nuclear factor of activated T-cells(NFAT)response element-controlled luciferase gene,as the effector *** anti-CD3 scFv situated on the target cells activates Jurkat-NFATTIGIT cells through binding and crosslinking CD3 molecules of the effector cell,whereas interactions between CD 112 and TIGIT prevent *** presence of anti-TIGIT mAbs disrupts their interaction,which in turn reverses the inactivation and luciferase *** and validation studies have demonstrated that this assay is superior in terms of specificity,accuracy,linearity,and *** summary,this reliable and effective reporter gene assay may potentially be utilized in lot release control,stability assays,screening,and development of novel TIGIT-targeted therapeutic antibodies.

A conventional spraying mode and a fully autonomous fruit tree operation mode using a model DJ T30 unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV)were used to control aphids control on elm trees and to clarify the distribution of droplets in elm trees sprayed by a *** effects of six aviation spray adjuvants on elm canopy droplet deposition and aphid control were *** software was used to analyze and measure the droplet density and deposition of water sensitive paper in two modes;this was done to calculate the droplet uniformity,depositional penetration,and droplet penetration,and to verify the aphid control *** results showed that the droplet density increased by 79.7%-100.7% in the upper canopy and 0-394.1%in the lower canopy without adjuvants in the fully autonomous fruit tree operation *** upper canopy deposits increased by 65.7%-179.3%,and the lower canopy increased by 0-152.8%.When adjuvants were added,the droplet density in the upper canopy increased by 49.7-56.1%using Jiexiaofeng(JXF),and the lower canopy increased by 138.2%-177.8% using JXF,45.8%-141.3%using Beidatong(BDT),45.5%-92.9% using Gongbei(GB),0-93.5% using Maisi(MS),and 0-95.2%using Manniu(MN).The deposits of the upper canopy increased by 888.1-1154.2% using JXF,0-1298.3% using MN,0-343.9%using BDT,0-422.5% using GB,0-580.3% using *** lower canopy increased by 746.4%-1426.0%using JXF,226.2%-231.0% using BDT,435.8%-644.0% using GB,255.0%-322.4%using MS,and 249.3%-360.0%using *** JXF was added,the droplet uniformity,droplet penetration and depositional penetration were better than when using other *** effects of JXF,BDT and GB in controlling aphids was significantly better than other adjuvants(p<0.05).The following control effects were observed;94.1% with JXF,93.1% with BDT,and 93.3% with GB after 3 d of application,and 97.9% with JXF,95.6% with BDT,and 97.1% with GB after 7 d of *** the same time,the application of the fully autonomous fruit tree operation mode a

When herbivores attack, plants specifically reconfigure their metabolism. Herbivory on the wild tobacco Nicotiana attenuata strongly induces the R2R3 MYB transcriptional activator MYB8, which was reported to specifically regulate the accumulation of phenolamides （PAs）. We discovered that transcriptional regulation of trypsin protease inhibitors （TPIs） and a threonine deaminase （TD） also depend on MYB8 expression. Induced distributions of PAs, TD and TPIs all meet predictions of optimal defense theory： their leaf concentrations increase with the fitness value and the probability of attack of the tissue. Therefore, we suggest that these defensive compounds have evolved to be co-regulated by MYB8.
