Failure process and monitoring data of an extra-large landslide at the Nanfen Open-pit Iron Mine

An extra-large landslide occurred on June 19,2.2.,on the footwall slope of the Nanfen Open-pit Iron Mine in Liaoning Province,China,with a volume of approximately 1.2.107 *** elucidate the causative factors,development process,and destructive mechanisms of this catastrophic landslide,comprehensive field tests,investigations,and laboratory experiments were ***,the heavily weathered rock mass of the slope was intersected by faults and joint fissures,facilitating rainwater ***,the landslide contained a substantial clay mineral with highly developed micro-cracks and micro-pores,exhibiting strong water-absorption *** moisture content increased,the rock mass underwent softening,resulting in reduced ***,continuous heavy rainfall infiltration amplified the slope's weight,diminishing the weak structural plane's strength,leading to fracture propagation,slip plane penetration,and extensive tensile-shear and uplift failure of the *** study highlights poor geological conditions as the decisive factor for this landslide,with continuous heavy rainfall as the triggering ***,adverse environmental factors persistently affect the landslide,and deformation and failure continue to ***,it is imperative to urgently implement integrated measures encompassing slope reinforcement,monitoring,and early-warning to real-time monitor the landslide's deformation and deep mechanical evolution trends.

Tunneling-based static random-access memory(SRAM)devices have been developed to fulfill the demands of high density and low power,and the performance of SRAMs has also been greatly ***,for a long time,there has not been a silicon based tunneling device with both high peak valley current ratio(PVCR)and practicality,which remains a gap to be *** on the existing work,the current manuscript proposed the concept of a new silicon-based tunneling device,i.e.,the silicon crosscoupled gated tunneling diode(Si XTD),which is quite simple in structure and almost completely compatible with mainstream *** technology computer aided design(TCAD)simulations,it has been validated that this type of device not only exhibits significant negative-differential-resistance(NDR)behavior with PVCRs up to 10^(6),but also possesses reasonable process ***,SPICE simulation showed the great potential of such devices to achieve ultralow-power tunneling-based SRAMs with standby power down to 10^(−12.W.

Negative Poisson’s ratio cable compensation support for 32.m super-large-span highway tunnel:A case study

Although super-large-span tunnels ensure convenient transportation,they face many support *** lack of normative construction guidance and the limited number of reference engineering cases pose a significant challenge to the stability control of superlarge-span *** on the geological conditions of a super-large-span tunnel(span=32.17 m)at the bifurcation section of the Shenzhen interchange,this study determined support parameters via theoretical calculation,numerical simulation,and engineering *** support effects of negative Poisson’s ratio(NPR)anchor cables and ordinary anchor cables on super-long-span tunnels were simulated and ***,based on FLAC3D simulations,the surrounding rock stress field of NPR anchor cables was analyzed under different prestressing conditions,and the mechanism of a long-short combination,high-prestress compensation NPR anchor cable support was *** the basis of numerical simulations,to our knowledge,the three-dimensional(3D)geomechanical model test of the NPR anchor cable and ordinary anchor cable support for super-large-span tunnel excavation is conducted for the first time,revealing the stress evolution law of super-large-span tunnels,deformation and failure characteristics of the surrounding rock,and the changing trend of the anchor cable’s axial force,and verifies that NPR anchor cables with high preloads are suitable for super-large-span tunnel support and have advantages over ordinary anchor *** study can provide a reliable theoretical reference for the support design and stability control of the surrounding rock of similar shallow-buried super-large-span tunnels.

The functional equation f（z）~n+g（z）~n=1 can be interpreted as the Fermat-type equations over function field. In this paper, by using Nevanlinna theory of meromorphic functions, we investigate the existence of meromorphic solutions of hyper-order strictly less than 1 to the Fermat-type functional equation(a0f（z）+a1f（z+c）)3+(b0f（z）+b1f（z+c）)3= eαz+β,where a0, a1, b0, b1, α, β, c are complex constants and c≠0.

Trajectory compensation for multi-robot coordinated lifting system considering elastic catenary of the rope

The multi-robot coordinated lifting system is an unconstrained system with a rigid and flexible *** deformation of the flexible rope causes errors in the movement trajectory of the lifting *** on the kinematic and dynamic analysis of the lifting system,the elastic catenary mod-el considering the elasticity and mass of the flexible rope is established,and the effect of the deform-ation of the flexible rope on the position and posture of the suspended object is *** to the deformation of flexible rope,a real-time trajectory compensation method is proposed based on the compensation principle of position and *** the lifting task of the low-speed move-ment,this is compared with that of the system which neglects the deformation of the flexible *** trajectoy of the lifting system considering the deformation of flexible *** results show that the mass and elasticity of the flexible rope can not be ***,the proposed trajectory compensation method can improve the movement accuracy of the lifting system,which verifies the ef-fectiveness of this compensation *** research results provide the basis for trajectory plan-ning and coordinated control of the lifting system。

A novel method for simulating nuclear explosion with chemical explosion to form an approximate plane wave: Field test and numerical simulation

A nuclear explosion in the rock mass medium can produce strong shock waves,seismic shocks,and other destructive effects,which can cause extreme damage to the underground protection *** the increase in nuclear explosion power,underground protection engineering enabled by explosion-proof impact theory and technology ushered in a new *** paper proposes to simulate nuclear explosion tests with on-site chemical explosion tests in the form of multi-hole ***,the mechanism of using multi-hole simultaneous blasting to simulate a nuclear explosion to generate approximate plane waves was *** plane pressure curve at the vault of the underground protective tunnel under the action of the multi-hole simultaneous blasting was then obtained using the impact test in the rock mass at the *** to the peak pressure at the vault plane,it was divided into three regions:the stress superposition region,the superposition region after surface reflection,and the approximate plane stress wave zone.A numerical simulation approach was developed using PFC and FLAC to study the peak particle velocity in the surrounding rock of the underground protective cave under the action of multi-hole *** time-history curves of pressure and peak pressure partition obtained by the on-site multi-hole simultaneous blasting test and numerical simulation were compared and analyzed,to verify the correctness and rationality of the formation of an approximate plane wave in the simulated nuclear *** comparison and analysis also provided a theoretical foundation and some research ideas for the ensuing study on the impact of a nuclear explosion.

Fusion of Ground-Based and Spaceborne Radar Precipitation Based on Spatial Domain Regularization

High-quality and accurate precipitation estimations can be obtained by integrating precipitation information measures using ground-based and spaceborne radars in the same target *** the true precipitation state is a typical inverse problem for a given set of noisy radar precipitation *** regularization method can appropriately constrain the inverse problem to obtain a unique and stable *** different types of precipitation with different prior distributions,the L_(1) and L_(2. norms were more effective in constraining stratiform and convective precipitation,*** a combination of L_(1) and L_(2. norms,the Huber norm is more suitable for mixed precipitation *** study uses different regularization norms to combine precipitation data from the C-band dual-polarization ground radar(CDP)and dual-frequency precipitation radar(DPR)on the Global Precipitation Measurement(GPM)mission core *** to single-source radar data,the fused figures contain more information and present a comprehensive precipitation structure encompassing the reflectivity and precipitation *** 2. precipitation cases,the fusion results utilizing the Huber norm achieved a structural similarity index measure(SSIM)and a peak signal-to-noise ratio(PSNR)of 0.8378 and 30.932.,respectively,compared with the CDP *** fusion results showed that the Huber norm effectively amalgamate the features of convective and stratiform precipitation,with a reduction in the mean absolute error(MAE;16.1%and 2..6%,respectively)and root-mean-square error(RMSE;11.7%and 13.6%,respectively)compared to the 1-norm and ***,in contrast to the fusion results of scale recursive estimation(SRE),the Huber norm exhibits superior capability in capturing the localized precipitation intensity and reconstructing the detailed features of precipitation.
