A new hybrid approach to constructing reduced-order models(ROM)of unsteady aerodynamics applicable to aeroelastic analysis is presented by using proper orthogonal decomposition(POD)in combination with observer *** modes are generated through POD by sampling observations of solutions derived from the full-order *** response in the POD training is projected onto the fluid modes to determine the time history of the modal *** resulting data are used to extract the Markov parameters of the low-dimensional model for modal amplitudes using a related deadbeat *** state-space realization is synthesized from the system's Markov parameters that are processed with the eigensystem realization *** POD-observer method is applied to a two-dimensional airfoil system in subsonic flow *** results predicted by the ROM are in general agreement with those from the full-order *** ROM obtained by the hybrid approach captures the essence of a fluid system and produces vast reduction in both degrees of freedom and computational time relative to the full-order model.

Abiotic stresses such as drought, cold, and high salinity are among the most adverse factors that affect plant growth and yield in the field. MicroRNAs are small RNA molecules that regulate gene expression in a sequence-specific manner and play an important role in plant stress response. Identifying abiotic stress-associated microRNAs and understanding their function will help develop new strategies for improvement of plant stress tolerance. Here we highlight recent advances in our understanding of abiotic stress-associated miRNAs in various plants, with focus on their discovery, expression analysis, and evolution.

以某型运载火箭为研究对象,研究了伺服机构故障下的重构控制问题。将该问题转化为有约束二次规划问题,采用一种Armijo准则和BFGS算法相结合的控制分配方法来求解。Armijo准则可以保证优化算法的收敛性,而BFGS算法则避免了迭代过程对Hesse阵的求逆运算,且具有收敛快的优点。将该重构方法与不动点迭代算法进行了对比,该算法经过8次迭代收敛,目标函数值和误差值分别收敛到102量级左右和10-5量级;而不动点迭代算法经过30次迭代尚未完全收敛,目标函数值和误差分别收敛到103量级左右和10-2量级。结果表明该重构方法比不动点迭代算法收敛快且收敛精度高。以单台发动机发生卡死故障为例对该方法进行了仿真验证,得到了与无故障情况下相同的控制效果,验证了该重构方法的有效性和正确性。

Therapeutic targeting FOxO3A(a forkhead transcription factor)represents a prom-ising strategy to suppress acute myeloid leukemia(AML).However,the effective inhibitors that target FOXO3A are lacking and the adaptive response signaling weakens the cytotoxic effect of FOxO3A depletion on AML ***,we show that FOxO3A deficiency induces a compensa-tory response involved in the reactive activation of mTOR that leads to signaling rebound and adaptive *** metabolism acts downstream of mTOR to provoke activa-tion of JNK/c-JUN via reactive oxygen species(ROS).At the molecular level,FOXO3A directly binds to the promoter of G protein gamma subunit 7(GNG7)and preserves its expression,while GNG7 interacts with mTOR and restricts phosphorylated activation of ***,combinatorial inhibition of FOXO3A and mTOR show a synergistic cytotoxic effect on AML cells and prolongs survival in a mouse model of *** a structure-based virtual screening,we report one potent small-molecule FOxO3A inhibitor(Gardenoside)that exhibits a strong effect of anti-FOXO3A DNA *** synergizes with rapamycin to substantially reduce tumor burden and extend survival in AML patient-derived xenograft *** results demonstrate that mTOR can mediate adaptive resistance to FOxO3A inhibition and validate a combinatorial approach for treating AML.

Electroreduction of nitrate(NO_(3)-)to ammonia(NH_(3))is an environmentally friendly route for NH_(3)production,serving as an appealing alternative to the Haber-Bosch ***,various noble metal-based electrocatalysts have been reported for electroreduction of NO_(3)-.However,the application of pure metal electrocatalysts is still limited by unsatisfactory performance,owing to the weak adsorption of nitrogen-containing intermediates on the surface of pure metal *** this work,we report thiol ligand-modified Au nanoparticles as the effective electrocatalysts toward electroreduction of NO_(3)-.Specifically,three mercaptobenzoic acid(MBA)isomers,thiosalicylic acid(ortho-MBA),3-mercaptobenzoic acid(meta-MBA),and 4-mercaptobenzoic acid(para-MBA),were employed to modify the surface of the Au *** the NO_(3)-electroreduction,para-MBA modified Au(denoted as para-Au/C)displayed the highest catalytic activity among these Au-based ***-1.0 V versus reversible hydrogen electrode(vs RHE),para-Au/C exhibited a partial current density for NH_(3)of 472.2 mA cm^(-2),which was 1.7 times that of the pristine Au ***,the Faradaic efficiency(FE)for NH_(3)reached 98.7%at-1.0 V vs RHE for para-Au/*** modification of para-MBA significantly improved the intrinsic activity of the Au/C catalyst,thus accelerating the kinetics of NO_(3)-reduction and giving rise to a high NH_(3)yield rate of para-Au/C.

Nasal drug delivery efficiency is highly dependent on the position in which the drug is deposited in the nasal ***,no reliable method is currently available to assess its impact on delivery *** this study,a biomimetic nasal model based on three-dimensional(3D)reconstruction and three-dimensional printing(3DP)technology was developed for visualizing the deposition of drug powders in the nasal *** results showed significant differences in cavity area and volume and powder distribution in the anterior part of the biomimetic nasal model of Chinese males and *** nasal cavity model was modified with dimethicone and validated to be suitable for the deposition *** experimental device produced the most satisfactory results with five spray ***,particle sizes and spray angles were found to significantly affect the experimental device’s performance and alter drug distribution,***,mometasone furoate(MF)nasal spray(NS)distribution patterns were investigated in a goat nasal cavity model and three male goat noses,confirming the in vitro and in vivo *** conclusion,the developed human nasal structure biomimetic device has the potential to be a valuable tool for assessing nasal drug delivery system deposition and distribution.

We present an application of short-pulse laser-generated hard x rays for the diagnosis of indirectly driven double shell targets. Coneinserted double shell targets were imploded through an indirect drive approach on the upgraded SG-II laser facility. Then, based on thepoint-projection hard x-ray radiography technique, time-resolved radiography of the double shell targets, including that of their near-peakcompression, were obtained. The backlighter source was created by the interactions of a high-intensity short pulsed laser with a metalmicrowire target. Images of the target near peak compression were obtained with an Au microwire. In addition, radiation hydrodynamicsimulations were performed, and the target evolution obtained agrees well with the experimental results. Using the radiographic images, arealdensities of the targets were evaluated.

Alkali lignin was processed by plasma and then used in modification of phenol formaldehyde resin in this *** structural changes of lignin which was processed by plasma as well as bonding strength,tensile property,curing performance and thermal property of the prepared phenol formaldehyde resin which was modified by the plasma processed lignin were *** demonstrated that:(1)Alkali lignin was degraded after the plasma *** original groups were destroyed,and the aromatic rings collected abundant free radicals and oxygen-containing functional groups like hydroxyls,carbonyls,carboxyls and acyls were introduced into increase the reaction activity of lignin significantly.(2)The introduction of alkali lignin decreased the free formaldehyde content and increased bonding strength and toughness of the prepared phenol formaldehyde resin,especially after the introduction of lignin treated with plasma.(3)The introduction of alkali lignin led to high curing temperature for the prepared phenol formaldehyde resin,but that was reduced by the plasma processed alkali lignin.(4)The introduction of alkali lignin could also increase thermal stability of phenol formaldehyde resin,but that was modified by plasma processed alkali lignin was better than the unprocessed *** on the results,the plasma processed lignin was used to modify phenol formaldehyde resin,which could increase the strength and toughness of phenol formaldehyde resin significantly.
