As a driving motor, surface mounted permanent magnet synchronous motor exhibits high efficiency and high power density. However, it is susceptible to suffer irreversible demagnetization and insulation failure of coils under severe thermal load condition. Therefore, it is essential to predict temperattrre distribution in the driving motor. In this paper, a lumped parameter thermal mode/of surface mounted permanent magnet is investigated. By using finite element method, the iron loss distribution in various parts of the driving motor is achieved. Moreover, the influences of interface gap and flow rate on temperature distribution are discussed. Finally, the simulation of temperature distribution in different parts of the driving motor is achieved. The presented methodology contributes to verify the feasibility of the driving motor design.

Effects of composite scale on high temperature oxidation resistance of Fe-Cr-Ni heat resistant alloy

Fe-Cr-Ni heat resistant alloys with aluminum and silicon addition, alone and in combination, were melted using an intermediate frequency induction furnace with a non-oxidation method. By the oxidation weight gain method, the oxidation resistances of the test alloys were determined at 1,200 ℃ for 500 hours. According to the oxidation weight gains, the oxidation kinetic curves were plotted and the functions were regressed by the least squares method. The results show that the oxidation kinetic curves follow the power function of y = ax^b （a〉0, 0〈b〈1）. The effects of scale compositions on oxidation resistance were studied further by analyses using X-ray diffraction （XRD） and scanning electron microscope （SEM）. It is found that the composite scale compounds of Cr203, a-Al2O3, SiO2 and FeCr2O4, with compact structure and tiny grains, shows complete oxidation resistance at 1,200℃. When the composite scale lacks a-Al2O3 or SiO2, it becomes weak in oxidation resistance with a loose structure. By the criterion of standard Gibbs formation free energy, the model of the nucleation and growth of the composite scale is established. The forming of the composite scale is the result of the competition of being oxidized and reduced between aluminum, silicon and the matrix metal elements of iron, chromium and nickel. The protection of the composite scale is analyzed essentially by electrical conductivity and strength properties.

The performance of the power assist, global optimization solved by dynamic programming （DP） method, Chery and Insight control strategies are analyzed using the mild parallel hybrid electric vehicle （PHEV） model based on Insight structure. The influence of the four control strategies to the load power of the electric motor system used on parallel hybrid electric vehicle is studied. It is found that 80 percent of the motor load power points are under 1/5 of the electric peak power. The motor load power of the power assist control strategy is distributed in the widest range during generating operation, and the motor load power of the global optimization control strategy has the smallest one.

Metal pollution has become an major issue governing the wetland ecosystem *** southern coastal wetland of the Qiangtang Estuary are facing unusual perturbation due to rapid development along the embayment in recent *** study evaluated the bioavailability of metals(Cu,Pb,Cd,Cr and Zn)in the sediment of the southern coastal wetland of the Qiangtang Es-tuary using diffusive gradients in thin films(DGT)techniques and compared with several methods based on total metal *** results showed that the contents of Cr,Pb,Cd and Cu in sediment,as detected using DGT,were considerably correlated with the exchangeable fraction and the content in Phragmites australis roots,while a weak correlation was observed for ***,DGT analysis could be used to evaluate the bioavailability and potential risk of Cr,Cd,Pb and Cu for *** indices,such as DGT concentration,bioaccumulation in ***,geoaccumulation index(Igeo)and potential ecological risk index(RI),revealed that Cd was a major potential ecological risk factor along the southern coast wetland of the Qiantang Estuary,especially in the upstream region,which is potentially more vulnerable to the anthropogenic pollution.

To avoid unfavorable environmental conditions, Scrippsiella trochoidea is capable of forming a resting cyst in the process of growth. In the present study,we investigated the effects of nitrate and ammonium on the growth and encystment of S. trochoidea. We incubated *** in modified f/2 media without nitrogen and silicate in flasks. The flasks were divided into two *** was added as a nitrogen source in the first group,and ammonium was added in the second group. The concentrations of the nitrogen compounds were 0, 10, 30, 60,and 90 lmol/L. The results indicate that NO3--N favors cell growth, and the cultures with a higher concentration of NO3--N were ineffective at forming cysts. In contrast,NH4--N promoted cell growth and cyst formation. At similar concentrations as NO3--N, NH4--N had a toxic effect on cell growth and increased the cyst formation ***, the NH4--N concentration is an important factor for controlling encystment. We believe that the impact of NH4--N in inducing cyst formation may be a useful feedback mechanism in ecological systems.

Conspecific seagrass living in differing environments may develop different root system acclimation *** applied X-ray computed tomography(CT)for imaging and quantifying roots systems of Zostera japonica collected from typical oligotrophic and eutrophic sediments in two coastal sites of northern China,and determined sediment physicochemical properties that might influence root system morphology,density,and *** trophic status of sediments had little influence on the *** root length,and diameters of root and ***,*** in oligotrophic sediment developed the root system with longer rhizome node,deeper rhizome distribution,and larger allocation to below-ground tissues in order to acquire more nutrients and relieve the N *** the lower root and rhizome densities of *** in eutrophic sediment were mainly caused by fewer shoots and shorter longevity,which was resulted from the more serious sulfide *** results systematically revealed the effect of sediment trophic status on the phenotypic plasticity,quantity,and distribution of *** root system,and demonstrated the feasibly of X-ray CT in seagrass root system research.
