Electrocatalytic reduction of Cr(Ⅵ)to less toxic Cr(Ⅲ)is deemed as a promising technique.Conventional electrocatalytic reduction is always driven by a constant cathodic potential,which exhibits a repelling action to Cr(Ⅵ)oxyanions in wastewater and consequently suppresses reduction kinetics.In order to remarkably accelerate Cr(Ⅵ)electrocatalytic reduction,we applied a pulsed potential on an Fe^(2+)-NiFe LDH/NF electrode synthesized by in situ growth of Fe^(2+)-doped NiFe LDH nanosheets on Ni foam using a spontaneous redox reaction.Under anodic potential section,HCrO_(4)^(–) anions are adsorbed on the electrode surface and reduced to Cr(Ⅲ)by Fe^(2+).Then,Cr(Ⅲ)ions are desorbed from the electrode surface under coulombic force.The regeneration of Fe^(2+) and direct reduction of Cr(Ⅵ)are achieved under cathodic potential section.The pulsed potential can achieve complete elimination of Cr(Ⅵ)within 60 min at an initial concentration of 10 mg L^(-1),and the removal efficiency shows a 60%increase with respect to that under constant cathodic potential.

Reducing the cost and improving the electrocatalytic activity are the key to developing high efficiency electrocatalysts for oxygen evolution reaction(OER).Here,bimetallic NiFe-based metal-organic framework(MOF)was prepared by solvothermal method,and then used as precursor to prepare NiFe-based MOF-derived materials by pyrolysis.The effects of different metal ratios and pyrolysis temperatures on the sample structure and OER electrocatalytic performance were investigated and compared.The experimental results showed that when the metal molar ratio was Fe:Ni=1:5 and the pyrolysis temperature was 450℃,the sample(FeNi_(5)-MOF-450)exhibits a composite structure of Ni Fe_(2)O_(4)/FeNi_(3)/C and owns the superior electrocatalytic activity in OER.When the current density is 100 mA·cm^(-2),the overpotential of the sample was 377 mV with Tafel slope of 56.2 mV·dec^(-1),which indicates that FeNi_(5)-MOF-450 exhibits superior electrocatalytic performance than the commercial RuO_(2).Moreover,the long-term stability of FeNi_(5)-MOF-450 further promotes its development in OER.This work demonstrated that the regulatory methods such as component optimization can effectively improve the OER catalytic performance of NiFe-based MOF-derived materials.

High-performance electrocatalysts for oxygen evolution reaction(OER)are crucial for water splitting and metal-air batteries.Twodimensional(2D)metal-organic framework(MOF)has become a new class of efficient OER electrocatalysts due to the rich coordination unsaturated metal nodes,large specific surface area,and adjustable structures.In addition,because inheriting the original microstructure of MOFs and having stronger chemical and mechanical stability,metal/alloy/oxide,metal sulfide/selenide/phosphide,and other compounds derived from 2D MOFs have also shown their unique OER catalytic ability.Here,we briefly introduced the existing reaction mechanism and evaluation parameters of catalyst performance of OER,introduced the synthesis methods and corresponding characterization techniques of 2D MOFs and their derivatives,and summarized the latest progress of 2D MOFs and their derivatives as OER catalysts.Finally,we put forward some views and suggestions on the existing problems hindering the development of 2D MOFs as OER for advancing the field.

Effects of brain-derived neurotrophic factor on synapsin expression in rat spinal cord anterior horn neurons cultured in vitro

Brain-derived neurotrophic factor （BDNF） promotes synaptic formation and functional maturation by upregulating synapsin expression in cortical and hippocampal neurons. However, it remains controversial whether BDNF affects synapsin expression in spinal cord anterior horn neurons. Wistar rat spinal cord anterior horn neurons were cultured in serum-supplemented medium containing BDNF, BDNF antibody, and Hank＇s solution for 3 days, and then synapsin I and synaptophysin protein and mRNA expression was detected. Under serum-supplemented conditions the number of surviving neurons in the spinal cord anterior horn was similar among BDNF, anti-BDNF, and control groups （P 〉 0.05）. Synapsin I and synaptophysin protein and mRNA expressions were increased in BDNF-treated neurons, but decreased in BDNF antibody-treated neurons （P 〈 0.01）. These results indicated that BDNF significantly promotes synapsin I and synaptophysin expression in in vitro-cultured rat spinal cord anterior horn neurons.

客流预测一直是轨道交通运营公司关注的重点,由于受到运输能力的限制等因素影响,部分OD的实际客流数据与真实需求有偏差,出现异常或者样本缺失,从而造成总体样本量偏小,直接采用这些样本进行预测会明显影响预测精度,但通过还原样本值增加样本量难度太大。根据上述特点选择基于实例的迁移学习,先确定源域的对象和范围,从源域中选择合适的样本补充到总体样本中,共同组成最终的训练样本数据集,完成迁移学习。同时选择改进的Boost算法,通过误差调整样本权重,不断迭代,得到最终的预测模型。结果表明:基于实例的迁移学习结合改进Boost算法的预测精度要好于传统集成学习、ARIMA模型、多元回归模型,为轨道交通运营公司对特定OD的客流预测提供新的有益尝试。

“目标试验模拟”(target trial emulation)作为一种新的真实世界研究框架在近年来被正式确立,其可用于指导基于真实世界数据开展观察性因果推断研究,继而进行医疗干预有效性和安全性评价。该框架的核心思想是参照随机对照试验的原则,利用真实世界数据模拟相应的随机对照试验,进而得出干预措施与临床结局间因果关联的结论。其主要实施要点可总结为“3⁃7⁃2”,即声明因果问题、制订模拟方案和模拟目标研究3个实施步骤,纳排标准、治疗策略、干预分配、随访期、结局指标、因果比较和分析计划7个设计要素,对永恒时间偏倚和现用药者偏倚2个关键偏倚的控制。本文通过对该框架的历史与现状、实施要点、经典案例、优势与局限性及其在中医药领域中的应用前景进行概述,以期帮助中医药学者开展中医药真实世界研究,并为构建具有中医药特色的临床评价体系提供新思路。

Natural killer(NK)cells,a type of cytotoxic lymphocytes,can infiltrate into ischemic brain and exacerbate neuronal cell death.Astragaloside Ⅳ(ASIV)is the major bioactive ingredient of Astragalus membranaceus,a Chinese herbal medicine,and possesses potent immunomodulatory and neuroprotective properties.This study investigated the effects of ASIV on post-ischemic brain infiltration and activation of NK cells.ASIV reduced brain infarction and alleviated functional deficits in MCAO rats,and these beneficial effects persisted for at least 7 days.Abundant NK cells infiltrated into the ischemic hemisphere on day 1 after brain ischemia,and this infiltration was suppressed by ASIV.Strikingly,ASIV reversed NK cell deficiency in the spleen and blood after brain ischemia.ASIV inhibited astrocyte-derived CCL2 upregulation and reduced CCR2+NK cell levels in the ischemic brain.Meanwhile,ASIV attenuated NK cell activating receptor NKG2D levels and reduced interferon-γproduction.ASIV restored acetylation of histone H3 and the p65 subunit of nuclear factor-κB in the ischemic brain,suggesting inhibition of histone deacetylase(HDAC).Simultaneously,ASIV prevented p65 nuclear translocation.The effects of ASIV on reducing CCL2 production,restoring acetylated p65 levels and preventing p65 nuclear translocation were mimicked by valproate,an HDAC inhibitor,in astrocytes subjected to oxygen-glucose deprivation.Our findings suggest that ASIV inhibits post-ischemic NK cell brain infiltration and activation and reverses NK cell deficiency in the periphery,which together contribute to the beneficial effects of ASIV against brain ischemia.Furthermore,ASIV’s effects on suppressing NK cell brain infiltration and activation may involve HDAC inhibition.

Synthesis of aptamer-functionalized Ag nanoclusters for MCF-7 breast cancer cells imaging

Aptamer-functionalized silver nanoclusters(Ag NCs) have been attracting a lot of interest as label-free probes which have been successfully applied to both cell imaging and molecular detection.MUCl aptamer is an ssDNA aptamer that specifically binds to MUCl mucin which is a large transmembrane glycoprotein whose expression level increases at least 10-fold in primary and metastatic breast cancers.Using C4A4C3-linker-MUCl as template,the Ag NCs were synthesized through one-pot process.The fluorescence intensity of Ag NCs was found to be closely related to the length and type(poly adenine or thymine) of the linker,the optimum linker being-AAAAA-.Using the C4A4C3-A5-MUC1 as the scaffold,the synthesized Ag NCs emitted fluorescence with high quantum yield(QY) of 66.5%.Based on the specific interaction between the MUCl aptamer and MUCl mucin,the C4A4C3-A5-MUC1-stabilized Ag NCs could recognize and differentiate the MCF-7 breast cancer cells from MDA-MB-231 breast cancer and A549 human lung cancer cells.

金属-有机框架(Metal-organic framework,MOF)材料因其出色的比表面积、众多的活性位点、可调的孔径范围和灵活的框架结构,在气体分离、储能和催化等领域发挥着重要的作用.近年来,采用高表面积、永久孔隙以及包含固有的氧化还原活性位点的MOF材料作为超级电容器的电极材料引起了研究者们的关注.本文主要从MOF在超级电容器领域的研究出发,着重介绍了其性能和结构对超级电容器电化学性能的影响,阐述了关于MOF性能调控和结构设计的研究进展.首先,MOF的电导率是影响超级电容器能量密度和功率密度的一大关键性能,而其材料的特殊结构又直接影响了导电率.其次,MOF丰富的活性位点和可调的孔径尺寸等特点都为其导电性能的提升创造了条件.此外,MOF的结构稳定性与超级电容器的循环性能密切相关,稳定结构的构建是增强超级电容器循环性能的重要前提.最后,对MOF未来在超级电容器领域中的研究进行了展望,结构的调控仍然是这一领域的重要研究方向.

How to fabricate zeolitic imidazole framework-8 （ZIF-8） based therapeutic nanoplatform will be of significance in biomedicine considering its good biocompatibility. Herein, we report a one-step encapsulation of indocyanine green （ICG） in ZlF-8 nanoparticles （NPs）. The as-prepared ICG@ZIF-8 NPs possess an absorption band in the near infrared region and have the good photothermal conversion efficiency. The in vivo and in vitro studies show that, after loading chemotherapy agent hydrophobic doxorubicin （DOX）, ICG@ZIF-8-DOX NPs exhibit the chem-and photothermal synergistic therapy for tumor. In addition, it is found that the embedded ICG molecules in ICG@ZlF-8 NPs can be disassociated and released into the solution upon the 808 nm laser irradiation, demonstrating that as-prepared ICG@ZIF-8 NPs can also be used as the optical imaging probe to trace the degradability behavior of resulting NPs in future
