A facile,one-pot synthesis of N-aryl propargylamine from aromatic boronic acid,aqueous ammonia,and propargyl bromide has been achieved under microwave-assisted *** reactions can be smoothly completed within a total 10 min through a two-step procedure,including copper-catalyzed coupling of aromatic boronic acids with aqueous ammonia and following propargylation by propargyl bromide.

The changes of protein secondary structures in the extracellular polymeric substances(EPS) extracted from activated sludge by four different methods were studied by analyzing the amide I region(1700–1600 cm-1) of the Fourier transform infrared spectra and model protein test. The results showed the molecular weight distribution of organic matter extracted by centrifugation, heating and cation exchange resin(CER) was similar, while the EPS extracted by centrifugation(Control) and CER had similar fluorescent organic matter. The protein secondary structures of extracted EPS by the four methods were different. The similarities of protein secondary structures between the EPS extracted by CER with the Control were the highest among the four extracted EPS. Although the EPS yield extracted by formaldehyde + NaOH method were the highest, its protein secondary structures had the lowest similarity with those extracted by the Control. Additionally, the effects of centrifugation and CER extraction on the secondary structures of bovine serum albumin were also lower than that of other extraction processes. CER enables the second maximum extraction of EPS and maximum retention of the original secondary structure of proteins.

Rapid diagnosis is important for efficient treatment in clinical *** study aimed at development of a method for rapid and reliable diagnosis using near-infrared(NIR)spectra of human serum samples with the help of chemometric *** NIR spectra of sera from 48 healthy individuals and 16 patients with suspected kidney disease were *** wavelet transform(DWT)and variable selection were adopted to extract the useful information from the *** component analysis(PCA),linear discriminant analysis(LDA)and partial least squares discriminant analysis(PLSDA)were used for discrimination of the *** of the two-class sera was obtained using LDA and PLSDA with the help of DWT and variable ***-LDA produced 93.8%and 83.3%of the recognition rates for the validation samples of the two classes,and 100%recognition rates were obtained using *** results demonstrated that the tiny differences between the spectra of the sera were effectively explored using DWT and variable selection,and the differences can be used for discrimination of the sera from healthy and possible *** spectroscopy and chemometrics may be a potential technique for fast diagnosis of kidney disease.

Visual-Inertial Odometry(VIO)has been developed from Simultaneous Localization and Mapping(SLAM)as a lowcost and versatile sensor fusion approach and attracted increasing attention in ground vehicle ***,VIOs usually have the degraded performance in challenging environments and degenerated motion *** this paper,we propose a ground vehicle-based VIO algorithm based on the Multi-State Constraint Kalman Filter(MSCKF)*** on a unifed motion manifold assumption,we derive the measurement model of manifold constraints,including velocity,rotation,and translation *** we present a robust flter-based algorithm dedicated to ground vehicles,whose key is the real-time manifold noise estimation and adaptive measurement ***,GNSS position measurements are loosely coupled into our approach,where the transformation between GNSS and VIO frame is optimized ***,we theoretically analyze the system observability matrix and observability *** algorithm is tested on both the simulation test and public datasets including Brno Urban dataset and Kaist Urban *** compare the performance of our algorithm with classical VIO algorithms(MSCKF,VINS-Mono,R-VIO,ORB_SLAM3)and GVIO algorithms(GNSS-MSCKF,VINS-Fusion).The results demonstrate that our algorithm is more robust than other compared algorithms,showing a competitive position accuracy and computational efciency.

Diabetes is a chronic metabolic disease with a high blood glucose level,leading to both seriously acute and chronic *** closed-loop system is an ideal system for diabetes ***,the large size and high cost of the commercial systems restrict their widespread ***,we present for the first time a microtube-based wearable closed-loop minisystem for diabetes *** closed-loop minisystem includes a biosensing device,an electroosmotic micropump,and a printed circuit board(PCB)with an *** microtube-based sensing device coated on the outer surface of the microtube is inserted into subcutaneous tissue for detecting interstitial glucose;the current signal for sensing glucose is processed by the PCB to power the electroosmotic micropump intelligently for the delivery of insulin into the subcutaneous tissue via the microtube *** closed-loop minisystem worn on a diabetic SD rat can successfully maintain its blood glucose level within a safe *** is expected that this new closed-loop paradigm could open up new prospects for clinical diabetes management.

Shrub encroachment into arid and semi-arid grasslands has elicited extensive research attention worldwide under the background of climate change and increasing anthropogenic *** encroachment may considerably impact local ecosystems and economies,including the conversion of the structure and function of ecosystems,the shift in ambient conditions,and the weakness of local stock farming *** article reviews recent research progresses on the shrub encroachment process and mechanism,shrub identification and dynamic monitoring using remote sensing,and modeling and simulation of the shrub encroachment process and *** studies can help to evaluate the ecological effect of shrub encroachment,and thus,practically manage and recover the ecological environment of degraded ***,the lack of effective measures and data for monitoring shrub encroachment at a large spatial scale severely limits research on the mechanism,modeling,and simulation of shrub encroachment,and the shrub encroachment stages can hardly be quantitatively defined,resulting in insufficient analysis and simulation of shrub encroachment for different spatiotemporal scales and stages *** in remote sensingbased shrub encroachment dynamic monitoring might be crucial for analyzing and understanding the process and mechanism of shrub encroachment,and multi-disciplinary and multi-partnerships are required in the shrub encroachment studies.

Anlotinib has strong antiangiogenic effects and leads to vessel ***,the“window period”characteristic in regulating vessel normalization by anlotinib cannot fully explain the long-term survival benefits achieved through combining it with other *** this study,through RNA sequencing(RNA-seq)and label-free quantitative proteomics analysis,we discovered that anlotinib regulated the expression of components of the extracellular matrix(ECM),leading to a significant reduction in ECM *** bioinformatic analysis revealed a potential positive relationship between the ECM pathway and gefitinib resistance,poor treatment outcomes for programmed death 1(PD-1)targeting,and unfavourable prognosis following chemotherapy in lung cancer *** administered anlotinib in combination with these antitumour drugs and visualized their distribution using fluorescent labelling in various tumour ***,our results demonstrated that anlotinib prolonged the retention time and distribution of antitumour drugs at the tumour ***,the combination therapy induced notable loosening of the tumour tissue *** reduction was associated with decreased interstitial fluid pressure and tumour solid ***,we observed that anlotinib effectively suppressed the Ras homologue family member A(RhoA)/Rho-associated protein kinase(ROCK)signalling *** findings suggest that,in addition to its antiangiogenic and vessel normalization effects,anlotinib can increase the distribution and retention of antitumour drugs in tumours by modulating ECM expression and physical properties through the RhoA/ROCK signalling *** valuable insights contribute to the development of combination therapies aimed at improving tumour targeting in cancer treatment.

Magnesium-based hydrides have been widely recognized as an appropriate choice for solid-state hydrogen ***,its undesirable thermodynamics and sluggish hydrogenation/dehydrogenation kinetics are major bottlenecks for its ***,a highly stable and highly dispersed Ni-based catalyst(Ni/Al_(2)O_(3)/GN)was fabricated to promote the hydrogen storage performance of MgH_(2)via the electrostatic effect of NiAl-LDH/GN precursor with a co-calcination reduction ***_(2)-5wt%Ni/Al_(2)O_(3)/GN exhibits excellent hydrogen storage performance,releasing about 5.7 wt%hydrogen in 3500 s at 250℃,and can reach a saturation hydrogen absorption of about 6.15 wt%in 3000 s at 100℃.Furthermore,it also shows low dehydrogenation apparent activation energy of 89.1 and 118.2 kJ·mol^(-1).Impressively,the catalyst ensures the stability of both the physical phase and structure during ball milling and cycling *** role of each phase in Ni/Al_(2)O_(3)/GN on the hydrogen storage performance of MgH_(2)was also discussed through experiments and theoretical calculation,and the synergistic catalytic mechanism of Ni/Al_(2)O_(3)/GN was clearly *** work provides a unique perspective for the preparation of highly stable and highly dispersible catalysts.

DNAzyme-based gene therapy faces some challenges including cell penetration,activity limitation,and co-delivery ***-assembled DNA nanomedicine has attracted widespread attention due to its many *** is urgent to develop a universal DNA degradation strategy for precise programmable drug ***,we reported a self-catabolic DNAzyme nanospheres(SCNS),which could simultaneously achieve cell penetration,activity enhancement,and co-delivery *** SCNS were assembled through Y-DNA stepwise hybridization with each other,which were then loaded with aptamer(Apt),doxorubicin(Dox),and zinc oxide nanoparticles(ZnO NPs).The acid-triggered dissociation of ZnO NPs leads to the generation of Zn^(2+)ions cofactors for immediately self-catabolic DNAzyme *** the disassembly of the SCNS,three types of anticancer treatments would be activated,which include Zn^(2+)involved reactive oxygen species(ROS),Dox-induced chemotherapy,and DNAzyme-based gene *** experimental results show that the nanoplatform(Apt-SCNS-Dox-ZnO)has a good tumor-killing effect and minimal side *** a smart self-driven drug delivery nanoplatform,it is anticipated to displace extraordinary potential in biomedicine and bioengineering.
