High resolution observations of the 6cm H_2CO maser in NGC 6240

We present high resolution （- 1″） H2CO maser and 5 GHz radio continuum observations toward nearby merging galaxy NGC 6240 made with the Very Large Array in an A configuration. Two concentrations of H2CO emission at about a 6or level have been detected, one of which is associated with the strongest CO peak in the overlap region while the other is about 2″ southwest of the southem galaxy. Both H2CO concentrations are associated with near infrared H2 emission, which is thought to be from shocked molecular gas. The total H2CO line luminosity in NGC 6240 is about 60% of that in Arp 220. Based on the distribution of H2CO emission in NGC 6240, which has both active galactic nuclei and an extreme starburst, the H2CO megamaser is likely to be related to the effect of the starburst instead of nuclear activity. Radio continuum cannot be the inversion mechanism of H2CO megamasers, because the two H2CO concentrations in NGC 6240 are not associated with radio continuum emission. Instead, with the association of near infrared H2 emission, shock dynamics may produce the inverted population of H2CO needed to generate megamasers.

Antinociceptive Effect of Najanalgesin from Naja Naja Atra in a Neuropathic Pain Model via Inhibition of c-Jun NH2-terminal Kinase

Background： Najanalgesin, a toxin isolated from the venom ofNaja nqja atra, has been shown to exert significant analgesic effects in a neuropathic pain model in rats. However, the molecular mechanism underlying this protective effect ofnajanalgesin is poorly understood. The present study sought to evaluate the intracellular signaling pathways that are involved in the antinociceptive effect of najanalgesin on neuropathic pain. Methods： The antinociceptive properties of najanalgesin were tested in hind paw withdrawal thresholds in response to mechanical stimulation. We analyzed the participation of the mitogen-activated protein kinase p38, extracellular-regulated kinase （ERK）, and c-Jun N-terminal kinase （JNK） by western blot analysis. This inhibition of JNK was confirmed by immunohistochemistry. Results： The phosphorylation levels of INK （as well as its downstream molecule c-Jun）, p38, and ERK were significantly increased after injury. Najanalgesin only inhibited JNK and c-Jun phosphorylation but had no effect on either ERK or p38. This inhibition of JNK was confirmed by immunohistochemistry, which suggested that the antinociceptive effect of najanalgesin on spinal nerve ligation-induced neuropathic pain in rats is associated with JNK activation in the spinal cord. Conclusion： The antinociceptive effect of najanalgesin thnctions by inhibiting the JNK in a neuropathic pain model.

Mutually inductive interactions between the lens and retina require ALK3 functions during mouse embryonic development

AIM: To investigate the mutually inductive interactions that occur between the lens and retinal tissue during the development of the vertebrate eye. METHODS: Cre-positive mice were mated with Cre-negative mice to generate 50% Cre-positive (conditional knockout, CKO) and 50% Cre-negative offspring (wild type, WT). The embryos were fixed in 4% paraformaldehyde, embedded in paraffin, and sectioned to a thickness of 4 mu m. The sections were processed for hematoxylin and eosin staining. The primary antibody used for immunofluorescence detection was sc-9305 bone morphogenetic proteins (bmp7) (Santa Cruz, US). The secondary antibody was IF-0314 aG0IgG/FITC (Santa Cruz) in combination with the primary antibody. Bright-field and fluorescent images were taken. RESULTS: Changes in the lens and retina were associated with specific alterations to the expression of type IA BMP receptor [BMPR-IA (ALK3)], which have already been implicated in eye growth. BMPR-IA was required for lens and retinal growth, but was not essential for the formation of lens. We observed that the expression of Bmp7 in the embryonic retina was reduced in the ALK3 lens of CKO mice. This phenomenon became increasingly visible in accordance with embryo development. This apparent alteration was present at stage E15.5. CONCLUSION: ALK3 is essential for lens and retinal growth. Mutually inductive interactions between the lens and retina are present in the developing mouse eye.

Analysis of solute preferential transport in a dark coniferous forest ecosystem of Gongga Mountain,Sichuan Province,southwestern China

We selected a dark coniferous forest ecosystem of Gongga Mountain in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River as our research area to study the preferential flow and solute preferential transport by adding the tracers KNO3 and KBr to the self-made soil column equipment in different ways to examine density and volume changes of inflows and outflows of a mass input （impulse input） and a stable, well-distributed input （step input））. The results showed that this dark coniferous forest ecosystem of Gongga Mountain is a typical area of preferential flow and solute preferential transport, a process that can be classified into five parts. A great amount of solute was transported at high speed as the result of preferential flow in the soil and caused the density of the solute in both deep water and in groundwater to rise rapidly, which definitely increased pollution in the deep soil layer.

Perception field based imitation learning for unlabeled multi-agent pathfinding

This paper proposes an imitation learning method to learn a universal agent policy for unlabeled multi-agent pathfinding(unlabeled MAPF) in grid environments. The method transforms the unlabeled MAPF problem into a series of temporal-independent homogeneous classification problems for each *** on this transformation, a neural network is designed to imitate a distance-optimal expert *** neural network consists of two successive modules: perception field learner and field integrating *** former refines and encodes the current system state into a perception field for each agent by combining a set of learnable field-generating functions. The latter takes an agent's perception field as input and decides the agent's next action based on a triplet cross-attention mechanism. We evaluate our method on a diverse set of unlabeled MAPF tasks. Compared with state-of-the-art counterparts, the experimental results manifest the superiority of the proposed method in both generalization ability and scalability.

An Efficient Optimization Design Framework for Low-Resistance Shape of Bionic Amphibious Robot

To realize the low-resistance shape optimization design of amphibious robots,an efficient optimization design framework is proposed to improve the geometric deformation flexibility and optimization *** the proposed framework,the free-form deformation parametric model of the flat slender body is established and an analytical calculation method for the height constraints is *** method is introduced to carry out the high-precision resistance calculation and a constrained Kriging-based optimization method is built to improve the optimization efficiency by circularly infilling the new sample points which satisfying the ***,the shape of an amphibious robot example is optimized to get the low-resistance shape and the results demonstrate that the presented optimization design framework has the advantages of simplicity,flexibility and high efficiency.

Multi-physical fields distribution in billet during helical electromagnetic stirring:A numerical simulation research

Electromagnetic stirring is one of the widely applied techniques to modify the quality of casting *** from conventional rotate stirring,the helical stirring is more professional in assisting multi-dimensional flow of molten metal and eliminating solidification *** this study,the single-winding helical stirring(SWHS)was introduced,offering advantages such as smaller volume and lower electromagnetic shielding compared to traditional helical stirring *** a comprehensive numerical simulation,the stirring parameters of SWHS were adjusted to yoke inclination angle of 43°and frequency of 12 *** higher electromagnetic force and flow velocity in drawing direction,as well as the lower temperature gradient induced by the SWHS,are positive factors for homogeneous solidification of *** experimental results on Al-8%Si alloy and 0.4%C-1.1%Mn steel demonstrate that compared to rotate stirring,the SWHS process can induce better billet quality and is more effective in accelerating the equiaxed expansion and reducing element *** SWHS process can enhance the equiaxed ratio of the billet by 58.3%and reduce segregation degree of carbon element by 10.97%.Consequently,SWHS holds great promise as a potential approach for improving the quality of continuous casting billets.

^(12)CO,^(13)CO and C^(18)O observations along the major axes of nearby bright infrared galaxies

We present simultaneous observations of 12CO,13CO and C18O J=1-0 emission in 11 nearby（cz1000 km s-1） bright infrared *** 12CO and 13CO are detected in the centers of all the galaxies,except for 13CO in NGC 3031. We have also detected C18O,CSJ=2-1 and HCO＋J=1-0 emission in the nuclear regions of M82 and *** are the first systematical extragalactic detections of 12CO and its isotopes from the PMO 14 m *** have conducted half-beam-spaced mapping of M82 over an area of 4×2.5 and major axis mapping of NGC 3627,NGC 3628,NGC 4631 and *** radial distributions of 12CO and 13CO in NGC 3627,NGC 3628 and M51 can be well fitted by an exponential profile. The 12CO/13CO intensity ratio,R,decreases monotonically with the galactocentric radius in all mapped *** average R in the center and disk of the galaxies are 9.9±3.0 and 5.6±1.9,respectively,much lower than the peculiar R（～24） found in the center of *** intensity ratios of 13CO/C18O,13CO/HCO＋and 13CO/CS（either our or literature data） show little variation with galactocentric radius,in sharp contrast with the greatly varied *** supports the notion that the observed gradient in R could be the result of the variations of the physical conditions across the *** H2 column density derived from C18O shows that the Galactic standard conversion factor（X-factor） overestimates the amount of the molecular gas in M82 by a factor of～*** observations suggest that the X-factor in active star-forming regions（i.e.,nuclear regions） should be lower than that in normal star-forming disks and the gradient in R can be used to trace the variations of the X-factor.
