The horseshoe vortex generated around the sail-body junction of a submarine has an important influence on the uniformity of the submarine wake at the propeller *** this article,the horseshoe vortex is simulated by the Detached Eddy Simulation（DES） method,and a new method to control the horseshoe vortex by vortex control baffler is *** numerical simulation shows that a kind of attached vortex,with the rotation direction opposite to that of horseshoe vortex,is generated by the vortex control *** the attached vortex,the strength of the horseshoe vortex is significantly *** wind tunnel experiment on a submarine model is carried out,and the axial velocities at the propeller disc of the submarine with and without vortex control baffler are measured by a hot wire anemometer *** is shown from the experimental results that the vortex control baffler can enhance the uniformity of the wake at the propeller disc,which helps to improve the propeller *** engineering applicability of the vortex control baffler is discussed.

Two natural dihydrobenzofuran neolignans licarin A（1） and dihydrocarinatin（2） were systhesized from isoeugenol with Ag20-catalyzed biomimetic oxidative coupling as the key step. Four novel dihydrobenzofuran triazolylglycoside（3--6） were achieved in good yields via Cu（I）-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloadditions of licarin A terminal alkynes with different azide acetylated sugar and deacetylation with sodium methoxide in anhydrous methanol. The structures of all the compounds synthesized were determined by elemental analysis, MS, 1H NMR and ~3C NMR. And the inhibition activity of synthesized compounds on a-glucosidase was determined by in vitro experiments. The results show that triazolyglycosides 3, 4, 5 and 6 show moderate inhibitory activity on a-glucosidase.

The objective of this work is to reveal the effect of a passive control method called wedge-type cavitating-bubble generator(WCG)on the cloud cavitation dynamics of National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics(NACA)66 *** simulations are performed using the Partially-averaged Navier-Stokes(PANS)method coupled with the Zwart cavitation *** proper orthogonal decomposition(POD)method is applied to extract the dominant flow *** results show that the WCG can induce the attached cavity to occur just behind the WCG instead of the hydrofoil leading *** the periodical time-evolution process of the unsteady cavity,it is found that the attached cavity with a larger scale around the hydrofoil with WCG has a rougher surface,accompanied with more shedding behaviors of small *** is further illustrated by the POD modes,that is,the mode 1 and modes 2–4 present the large and small cavity vortex structures ***,the dominant frequencies of 50 Hz,47.5 Hz are given by the POD method respectively for the hydrofoils without and with WCG,which is in good agreement with that of FFT *** addition,the correlation distribution of POD modal coefficients shows that the WCG can strengthen the vortex energy as well as the turbulence intensity.

It is secure for customers to store and share their sensitive data in the cryptographic cloud ***,the revocation operation is a sure performance killer in the cryptographic access control *** optimize the revocation procedure,we present a new efficient revocation scheme which is efficient,secure,and *** this scheme,the original data are first divided into a number of slices,and then published to the cloud *** a revocation occurs,the data owner needs only to retrieve one slice,and re-encrypt and re-publish ***,the revocation process is accelerated by affecting only one slice instead of the whole *** have applied the efficient revocation scheme to the ciphertext-policy attribute-based encryption(CP-ABE) based cryptographic cloud *** security analysis shows that our scheme is computationally *** theoretically evaluated and experimentally measured performance results show that the efficient revocation scheme can reduce the data owner's workload if the revocation occurs frequently.

This paper investigates the unsteady structures and the hydrodynamics of cavitating flows. Experimental results are presented for a Clark-Y hydrofoil fixed at ？= 0？, 5？ and 8？, for various cavitation numbers, from subcavitating flow to supercavitation. The high-speed video camera and the particle image velocimetry（PIV） are applied to observe the transient flow structures. Statistics of the cavity lengths, the velocity and vorticity distributions, as well as the turbulent intensities are presented to quantify the unsteady process. Meanwhile, the dynamic measurement system is used to record the dynamic characteristics. The experimental results show that the flow structures and the hydrodynamics of the cavitation vary considerably with various combinations of angles of attack and cavitation numbers. Under various conditions, the cavitation can be generally grouped as the inception cavitation, the sheet cavitation, the cloud cavitation and the supercavitation. The cloud cavitation exhibits noticeable unsteady characteristics. Experimental evidence indicates that the hydrodynamics are clearly affected by the cavitating flow structures, the amplitude of the load fluctuation is much higher in the cloud cavitating cases.

Farinograph dough stability time is an important index for classifying wheat, and it often indicates the most appropriate end use for the wheat cultivars. This study aimed at the problem of large fluctuations in dough stability time that occurs during the commercial wheat production. The variations in the dough stability time and its consistency across locations and years were analyzed using 12 principal high-quality wheat cultivars （varieties） obtained from Shandong Province, China, which were grown at nine different locations for three successive years. The results showed that the coefficient of variation for the dough stability time ranged from 24.29 to 49.60% across different varieties, locations, and years. Additive main effects and multiplicative interaction （AMMI） analysis indicated that there were significant interactions for the dough stability time between the varieties, the growth locations, and the years. The genotype effect was the most noticeable, followed by the interaction of the genotype and the environment. The environmental effect was the least significant. The interactions between the varieties and the locations differ considerably, however, each cultivar （variety） apparently has a specific adaptability to the growth location. Therefore, for the successful commercial scale production of the high-quality wheat varieties, both the selection of proper cultivars and its most suitable growth locations to meet the desired requirements for the dough mixing stability time are important.

Novel ethyl cellulose/chitosan microspheres （ECCMs） were prepared by the method of w/o/w emulsion and solvent evaporation. The microspheres were spherical, adhesive, and aggregated loosely with a size not bigger than 5 pm. The drug loading efficiency of berberine hydrochloride （BH） loaded in microspheres were affected by chitosan （CS） concentration, EC concentration and the volume ratio of V（CS）/V（EC）. ECCMs prepared had sustained release efficiency on BH which was changed with different preparation parameters. In addition, the pH value of release media had obvious effect on the release character of ECCMs. The release rate of BH from sample B was only a little more than 30% in diluted hydrochloric acid （dHCl） and that was almost 90% in PBS during 24 h. Furthermore, the drug release data were fitted to different kinetic models to analyze the release kinetics and the mechanism from the microspheres. The released results of BH indicated that ECCMs exhibited non-Fickian diffusion mechanism in dHCI and diffusion-controlled drug release based on Fickian diffusion in PBS. So the ECCMs might be an ideal sustained release system especially in dHCl and the drug release was governed by both diffusion of the drug and dissolution of the polymeric network.

Although hypothermia therapy is effective to treat neonatal hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy,many neonatal patients die or suffer from severe neurological *** is considered one of the most promising neuroprotective *** hypothesized that erythropoietin combined with hypothermia will improve efficacy of neonatal hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy *** this study,41 neonates with moderate/severe hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy were randomly divided into a control group（hypothermia alone for 72 hours,n = 20） and erythropoietin group（hypothermia ＋ erythropoietin 200 IU/kg for 10 days,n = 21）.Our results show that compared with the control group,serum tau protein levels were lower and neonatal behavioral neurological assessment scores higher in the erythropoietin group at 8 and 12 ***,neurodevelopmental outcome was similar between the two groups at 9 months of *** findings suggest that erythropoietin combined with hypothermia reduces serum tau protein levels and improves neonatal behavioral neurology outcome but does not affect long-term neurodevelopmental outcome.

Inflammatory bowel disease,particularly Crohn's disease(CD),has been linked to modifications in mesenteric adipose tissue(MAT)and the phenomenon known as"creeping fat"(CrF).The presence of CrF is believed to serve as a predictor for early clinical recurrence following surgical intervention in patients with ***,the incorporation of the mesentery during ileocolic resection for CD has been correlated with a decrease in surgical recurrence,indicating the significant role of MAT in the pathogenesis of *** numerous studies have indicated that dysbiosis of the gut microbiota is a critical factor in the development of CD,the functional implications of translocated microbiota within the MAT of CD patients remain *** manuscript commentary discusses a recent basic research conducted by Wu et *** their study,intestinal bacteria from individuals were transplanted into CD model mice,revealing that fecal microbiota trans-plantation(FMT)from healthy donors alleviated CD symptoms,whereas FMT from CD patients exacerbated these ***,FMT was found to affect intestinal permeability,barrier function,and the levels of proinflammatory factors and ***,these findings suggest that targeting MAT and CrF may hold therapeutic potential for patients with ***,the study did not evaluate the composition of the intestinal microbiota of the donors or the subsequent alterations in the gut ***,the gut microbiota plays a crucial role in the histopathology of CD,and thus,targeting MAT and CrF may represent a promising avenue for treatment in this patient population.
