In order to investigate the characteristics of a vertical axial flow pump under various clearances of flare tube, the bell-shaped inlet and box culvert outlet channels with flare tube are studied numerically and experimentally. Then, the cases of inlet and outlet channels with the least hydraulic loss are selected to form an integral pump system, for which both numerical simulation and experimental investigation are carried out. The numerical results agree well with the experimental data. It is shown that the clearances of the interfaces between different components of the pump system have a significant impact on the internal flow structure, turbulent entropy and hydraulic performance of the inlet and outlet channels. For the cases of normalized bottom clearance less than 0.5 and normalized top clearance larger than 0.4, the internal flow and hydraulic performance indexes of inlet and outlet channels are relatively poor. There also exists a critical clearance in either inlet or outlet channel at which the hydraulic loss reaches the maximum. The results serve as an important reference for the design as well as safe and efficient operation of the vertical axial flow pump system.

利用中国原子能科学研究院HI-13MV串列加速器上提供的动能为15—55 MeV的类氦C离子分别轰击Fe,Ni,Nb和Mo金属厚靶,采用HpGe探测器测量了K-X射线,获得了相应的K-X射线的发射截面.本文中由于各个靶原子外壳层电离度的不同,类氦C离子与Fe,Ni靶原子相互作用发射的K_(β)与K_(α)X射线的分支强度比随入射离子动能增加而减小,而Nb,Mo靶原子发射的K-X射线分支强度比变化不明显.利用厚靶截面公式计算了靶原子K-X射线的发射截面,并与不同的理论模型及质子的结果进行了对比.结果表明随类氦C离子动能的增大,Fe,Ni靶原子发射的K_(β)与K_(α)X射线的总产生截面与考虑多电离的两体碰撞近似修正模型最为符合Nb,Mo靶原子发射的K_(β)与K_(α)X射线的总产生截面与平面波恩近似模型的理论值最为接近.质子与单核子C离子能量相同时,质子比类氦C离子激发不同靶的K-X射线产生截面约小3个数量级.

In this paper,we consider the limit distribution of the error density function estima-tor in the rst-order autoregressive models with negatively associated and positively associated random errors.Under mild regularity assumptions,some asymptotic normality results of the residual density estimator are obtained when the autoregressive models are stationary process and explosive process.In order to illustrate these results,some simulations such as con dence intervals and mean integrated square errors are provided in this paper.It shows that the residual density estimator can replace the density\estimator"which contains errors.

A novel tetraethylenepentamine(TEPA)functionalized magnetic mesoporous silica adsorbent(FNMs/TEPA)was prepared for the adsorption of Cr(III)-ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid(EDTA)from wastewater.The characterization of the prepared adsorbent certified that TEPA was modified onto the magnetic mesoporous silicon(FNMs),while FNMs/TEPA maintained the ordered mesoporous and pristine magnetic properties.The batch adsorption experiments demonstrated that TEPA significantly enhanced the removal capacity of the adsorbent for Cr(III)-EDTA.FNMs/TEPA exhibited an excellent adsorption property(13.84 mg·g^(-1))at pH 4.0.Even in the presence of high concentrations of coexisting ions and organic acids,the adsorption performance of FNMs/TEPA was stable.Experimental characterization and DFT demonstrated that the adsorption of Cr(III)-EDTA was ascribed to the electrostatic interaction,hydrogen bonding,and complexation between Cr(III)-EDTA and amino groups on the adsorbent surface.The analysis of the independent gradient model(IGM)shows that electrostatic interaction is the main mode of action in the adsorption process.Moreover,FNMs/TEPA demonstrated remarkable reusability in three regeneration cycles.These findings indicated that FNMs/TEPA possessed excellent application prospects in the disposal of wastewater containing Cr(III)-EDTA.

Owing to the numerous benefits,including low cost and great theoretical capacity,V3S4 has been a research hotspot for Li+/Na+/K+storage.Nonetheless,the V3S4electrode with long cycling stability and high specific capacities continues to pose significant challenges.In this work,vacuum vulcanization is combined with electrospinning to synthesize V3S4/C composite nanofibers （V3S4@CNF）.

An experimental investigation into the thermal conductivity of CF-SiC two-phase composite asphalt concrete is presented.The main objective of this study was to verify the possibility of using SiC powder instead of mineral powder as the thermal conductive filler to prepare a new type of asphalt concrete and improve the efficiency of electrothermal snow and ice melting systems accordingly.The thermal conductivity of asphalt concrete prepared with different thermally conductive fillers was tested by a transient plane source method,and the related performances were measured.Then the temperature rise rate and surface temperature were studied through field heating tests.Finally,the actual ice melting efficiency of the thermally conductive asphalt concrete was evaluated using an effective electrothermal system.As shown by the experimental results,the composite made of SiC powder and carbon fiber has a high thermal conductivity.When SiC replaces mineral powder,the thermal conductivity of the asphalt mixture increases first and then decreases with the increase of carbon fiber content.In the present study,in particular,the thermal conductivity attained a peak when the carbon fiber content was 0.2%of the aggregate mass.

Quasi-in-situ Observation and SKPFM Studies on Phosphate Protective Film and Surface Micro-Galvanic Corrosion in Biological Mg-3Zn-xNd Alloys

The phosphate protective film and micro-galvanic corrosion of biological Mg-3Zn-xNd (x = 0, 0.6, 1.2) alloys were investigated by scanning and transmission electron microscopy, quasi-in-situ observation, scanning Kelvin probe force microscopy (SKPFM) and electrochemical tests. The results revealed the Mg-Zn-Nd phases formed in Mg-3Zn alloy contained with Nd. Adding Nd resulted in a significant decline in the cracks of the phosphate protective film and micro-galvanic corrosion of alloys, which were recorded by quasi-in-situ observation. In addition, the Volta potential difference of Mg-Zn-Nd/α-Mg (~ 188 mV) was lower than MgZn/α-Mg (~ 419 mV) and Zn-rich/α-Mg (~ 260 mV), and the corrosion rates of alloys markedly decreased after the addition of 0.6 wt% Nd. The improvement in corrosion resistance of Nd-containing alloys was mainly attributed to the following: (i) the addition of Nd reduced the Volta potential difference (second phases/α-Mg);(ii) the phosphate protective film containing Nd_(2)O_(3) deposited on the surface of the alloys, effectively preventing the penetration of harmful anions.

Lithium-ion capacitors(LICs) of achieving high power and energy density have garnered significant attention. However, the kinetics unbalance between anode and cathode can impede the application of LICs. Vanadium nitride(VN) with a high theoretical specific capacity(~ 1200 m Ah·g^(-1)) is a better pseudocapacitive anode to match the response of cathode in LICs. However, the insertion/extraction of Li-ions in VN's operation results in significant volume expansion. Herein, the VN/N-r GO-5composite that three-dimentional(3D) dicyandiamidederived-carbon(DDC) tightly wrapped VN quantum dots(VN QDTs) on two-dimentional(2D) reduced graphene oxid(r GO) was prepared by a facile strategy. The VN QDTs can reduce ion diffusion length and improve charge transfer kinetics. The 2D r GO as a template provides support for nanoparticle dispersion and improves electrical conductivity. The 3D DDC tightly encapsulated with VN QDTs mitigates agglomeration of VN particles as well as volume expansion. Correspondingly, the LICs with VN/Nr GO-5 composite as anode and activated carbon(AC) as cathode were fabricated, which exhibits a high energy density and power density. Such strategy provides a perspective for improving the electrochemical properties of LIC anode materials by suppressing volume expansion and enhancing conductivity.

It is discovered that the product of the current and the electric field in a PN junction should be regarded as the rate of work(power)done by the electric field force on moving charges(hole current and electron current),which was previously misinterpreted as solely a Joule heating effect.We clarify that it is exactly the work done by the electric field force on the moving charges to stimulate the emergence of non-equilibrium carriers,which triggers the novel physical phenomena.As regards to Joule heat,we point out that it should be calculated from Ohm’s law,rather than simply from the product of the current and the electric field.Based on this understanding,we conduct thorough discussion on the role of the electric field force in the process of carrier recombination and carrier generation.The thermal effects of carrier recombination and carrier generation followed are incorporated into the thermal equation of energy.The present study shows that the exothermic effect of carrier recombination leads to a temperature rise at the PN interface,while the endothermic effect of carrier generation causes a temperature reduction at the interface.These two opposite effects cause opposite heat flow directions in the PN junction under forward and backward bias voltages,highlighting the significance of managing device heating phenomena in design considerations.Therefore,this study possesses referential significance for the design and tuning on the performance of piezotronic devices.
