Exploring the autophagy-related pathogenesis of active ulcerative colitis

Mn-doped SrCoO_(3-δ) Perovskite Oxides for Ethylene Production via chemical Looping Oxidative Dehydrogenation of Ethane

chemical looping oxidative dehydrogenation (CL-ODH) is an economically promising method for convertingethane into higher value-added ethylene utilizing lattice oxygen in redox catalysts, also known as oxygen carriers. Inthis study, perovskite-type oxide SrCoO_(3-δ) and B-site Mn ion-doped oxygen carriers (SrCo_(1-x)MnxO_(3-δ), x=0.1, 0.2, 0.3)were prepared and tested for the CL-ODH of ethane. The oxygen-deficient perovskite SrCoO_(3-δ) exhibited high ethyleneselectivity of up to 96.7% due to its unique oxygen vacancies and lattice oxygen migration rates. However, its low ethyleneyield limits its application in the CL-ODH of ethane. Mn doping promoted the reducibility of SrCoO_(3-δ) oxygen carriers,thereby improving ethane conversion and ethylene yield, as demonstrated by characterization and evaluation experiments.X-ray diffraction results confirmed the doping of Mn into the lattice of SrCoO_(3-δ), while X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS) indicated an increase in lattice oxygen ratio upon incorporation of Mn into the SrCoO_(3-δ) lattice. Additionally, H2temperature-programmed reduction (H2-TPR) tests revealed more peaks at lower temperature reduction zones and a declinein peak positions at higher temperatures. Among the four tested oxygen carriers, SrCo0.8Mn0.2O_(3-δ) exhibited satisfactoryperformance with an ethylene yield of 50% at 710 °C and good stability over 20 redox cycles. The synergistic effect of Mnplays a key role in increasing ethylene yields of SrCoO_(3-δ) oxygen carriers. Accordingly, SrCo0.8Mn0.2O_(3-δ) shows promisingpotential for the efficient production of ethylene from ethane via CL-ODH.

ZrO_(2)-strengthened porous mullite insulation materials were prepared by foaming technology utilizing ZrSiO_(4) and Al_(2)O_(3) as primary materials and Y_(2)O_(3) as an *** effects of Y_(2)O_(3) contents on the phase composition,microstructure,mechanical properties,and heat conductivity of the porous mullite insulation materials were investigated.A suitable Y_(2)O_(3) content could promote phase transition of monoclinic ZrO_(2)(m-ZrO_(2))to tetragonal ZrO_(2)(t-ZrO_(2)),reduce pore size,and improve the strengths of as-prepared *** cold crushing strength and bending strength of as-prepared specimens with a 119µm spherical pore size using 6 wt.%Y_(2)O_(3) were 35.2 and 13.0 MPa,respectively,with a heat conductivity being only 0.248 W/(m K).

Impact of baseline hepatitis B virus viral load on the long-term prognosis of advanced hepatocellular carcinoma treated with immunotherapy

A low-profile dual-broadband dual-circularly-polarized reflectarray for K-/Ka-band space applications

A low-profile dual-broadband dual-circularly-polarized(dual-CP)reflectarray(RA)is proposed and demonstrated,supporting independent beamforming for right-/left-handed CP waves at both K-band and *** functionality is achieved by incorporating multi-layered phase shifting elements individually operating in the K-and Ka-band,which are then interleaved in a shared aperture,resulting in a cell thickness of only about *** rotating the designed K-and Ka-band elements around their own geometrical centers,the dual-CP waves in each band can be modulated *** reduce the overall profile,planar K-/Ka-band dual-CP feeds with a broad band are designed based on the magnetoelectric dipoles and multi-branch hybrid *** planar feeds achieve bandwidths of about 32%and 26%at K-and Ka-band respectively with reflection magnitudes below-13 dB,an axial ratio smaller than 2 dB,and a gain variation of less than 1 dB.A proof-of-concept dual-band dual-CP RA integrated with the planar feeds is fabricated and characterized which is capable of generating asymmetrically distributed dual-band dual-CP *** measured peak gain values of the beams are around 24.3 and 27.3 dBic,with joint gain variation<1 dB and axial ratio<2 dB bandwidths wider than 20.6%and 14.6%at the lower and higher bands,*** demonstrated dual-broadband dual-CP RA with four degrees of freedom of beamforming could be a promising candidate for space and satellite communications.

Goji berry is a famous edible and medicinal substance around the world. In this research， 15 phenylpropionyl phenylethylamine derivatives (1-15)， including one new compound (1)， were separated and identified from goji berry. All isolates were elucidated via extensive NMR spectral analyses and chemical techniques. Six known isolates were first obtained from Lycium genus. Six isolates were effectively split into double chromatographic peaks accompanied by the basically identical areas， indicating they belong to racemates. The ORAC experiment indicated that all isolates displayed a capacity of scavenging free radicals， and most of them exhibited higher ORAC values than EGCG. In ethanol/palmitic acid (PA)-established in vitro hepatocyte injury model， four phenylpropionyl phenylethylamine derivatives (1， 2， 9， and 15) significantly alleviated hepatocyte injury， among which compound 1 exerted the strongest protective activity. Notably， the hepatoprotective effect of compound 1 was further confirmed in ethanol-established liver damage mouse model， reflected by the reduction of lipid accumulation and the attenuation of pathological alteration. Combined with the in vitro results， the in vivo observations suggested that compound 1 suppressed cell apoptosis and the outburst of inflammation. Our findings provided first-hand evidence proving that goji berry-derived phenylpropionyl phenylethylamine derivatives hold a potential in treating alcoholic liver disease.
