To design high efficiency polymer solar cells(PSCs), it is of great importance to develop suitable polymer donors that work well with the low bandgap acceptors, providing complementary absorption, forming interpenetrating networks in the active layers and minimizing energy loss. Recently, we developed a series of two-dimension-conjugated polymers based on bithienylbenzodithiophene-alt-benzotriazole backbone bearing different conjugated side chains, generally called J-series polymers. They are medium energy bandgap(Eg) polymers(Eg of ca. 1.80 eV)with strong absorptions in the range of 400-650 nm, and exhibit ordered crystalline structures, high hole mobilities, and more interestingly,tunable energy levels depending on the structure variations. In this feature article, we highlight our recent efforts on the design and synthesis of those J-series polymer donors, including an introduction on the polymer design strategy and emphasis on the crucial function of differential conjugated side chain. Finally, the future opportunities and challenges of the J-series polymers in PSCs are discussed.

The effect of disturbed flow on the mass trans- fer from arterial surface to flowing blood was studied nu- merically, and the results were compared with that of our previous work. The arterial wall was assumed to be vis- coelastic and the blood was assumed to be incompressible and non-Newtonian fluid, which is more close to human arte- rial system. Numerical results indicated that the mass trans- fer from the arterial surface to flowing blood in regions of disturbed flow is positively related with the wall shear rates and it is significantly enhanced in regions of disturbed flow with a local minimum around the reattachment point which is higher than the average value of the downstream. There- fore, it may be implied that the accumulation of cholesterol or lipids within atheromatous plaques is not caused by the reduced efflux of cholesterol or lipids, but by the infiltration of the LDL （low-density lipoprotein） from the flowing blood to the arterial wall.

All-polymer solar cells(all-PSCs)are prepared with a sandwich device structure based on a binary blend of a polymer donor and a polymer acceptor(Fig.1),and have attracted intensive research attention as a potential renewable photovoltaic technology[1,2].As compared to the PSCs with small molecule acceptors(SMAs),allPSCs show pronounced advantages of superior mechanical flexibility/stretchability and improved device stability[3,4].Thus,they are more attractive for the applications in wearable and portable *** the first report of the all-PSCs in 1995 using cyano-substituted polyphenylenevinylene as the polymer acceptor[5,6],researchers have focused their efforts on the design of new polymer acceptors,such as rylenediimide[7],B←N bridged bipyridine[8],and cyanobenzothiadiazole-based polymer acceptors[9].However,before 2017,the power conversion efficiency(PCE)of the all-PSCs was limited by the weak absorbance of the polymer acceptors in the nearinfrared region[10].

In organic solar cells(OSCs), the material design on photovoltaic layers and interlayers has significantly contributed to the rapid progress of the device performance. Perylene-diimides(PDIs), owing to their distinct advantages of high electron affinity, high electron mobility and facial chemical modification, are being widely studied in OSCs, especially designed as photovoltaic acceptors and cathode interlayers. In this review, recent progress on those PDI derived photovoltaic materials is systematically summarized. Due to the different working mechanism in devices, the design strategies on modification of the parent PDI units towards their application as acceptors and cathode interlayers are explained. After disclosing the fundamental structure-property relationships, we disclose some common features in the design of those tailor-made PDI-based photovoltaic materials, and we also highlight the challenges and opportunities in improving their device performance in the future.

The photodissociation dynamics of acetaldehyde in the radical channel CH3＋HCO has been reinvestigated using time-sliced velocity map imaging technique in the photolysis wavelength range of 275-321 nm. The CH3 fragments have been probed via （2＋1） resonance-enhanced multiphoton ionization. Images are measured for CH3 formed in the ground and excited states （v2=0 and 1） of the umbrella vibrational mode. For acetaldehyde dissociation on T1 state after intersystem crossing from S1 state, the products are formed with high translational energy release and low internal excitation. The rotational and vibrational energy of both fragments increases with increasing photodissociation energy. The triplet barrier height is estimated at 3.8814-0.006 eV above the ground state of acetaldehyde.

BACKGROUND In early gastric cancer(GC),tumor markers are increased in the *** levels of these markers have been used as important indexes for GC screening,early diagnosis and prognostic ***,specific tumor markers have not yet been *** based on a single tumor marker has limited *** detection rate of GC is still very *** To improve the diagnostic value of blood markers for *** We used a multiparameter joint analysis of 77 indexes of malignant GC and gastric polyp(GP),64 indexes of GC and healthy controls(Ctrls).RESULTS By analyzing the data,there are 27 indexes in the final Ctrls vs GC with P values<0.01,the area under the curve(AUC)of albumin is the largest in Ctrls vs GC,and the AUC was 0.907.30 indexes in GP vs GC have P values<*** them,the D-dimer showed an AUC of *** 27 indexes in Ctrls vs GC and 30 indexes in GP vs GC were used for binary logistic regression,discriminant analysis,classification tree analysis and artificial neural network analysis *** the ability to distinguish between Ctrls vs GC,GP vs GC,artificial neural networks had better diagnostic value when compared with classification tree,binary logistic regression,and discriminant *** compared Ctrl and GC,the overall prediction accuracy was 92.9%,and the AUC was 0.992(0.980,1.000).When compared GP and GC,the overall prediction accuracy was 77.9%,and the AUC was 0.969(0.948,0.990).CONCLUSION The diagnostic effect of multi-parameter joint artificial neural networks analysis is significantly better than the single-index test diagnosis,and it may provide an assistant method for the detection of GC.

Synthesis and characterization of novel star-shaped pyridine cored compounds with alternating carbazole and triphenylamine moieties

Amorphous 2,4,6-trissubstituted pyridines containing three peripheral carbazole or two triphenylamine and one carbazole moieties, respectively, have been synthesized and characterized. The properties of the compounds are investigated by UV-vis absorption, photoluminescence spectroscopy, thermal analysis as well as cyclic voltammetry. The results show that the compounds have high thermal stability, emit blue light. Also, the compounds possess the HOMO and LUMO energy levels comparable to those of NPB. The effects of different substituents on the electronic properties of the materials have been discussed.
