Multiple precipitating species in a 2.2 GPa grade precipitation-hardened martensitic stainless steel with balanced ductility were characterized at atomic scale by atom probe *** results indicated that the clustering of solute atoms was promoted with progressive aging treatments.(Cr,Mo)-rich carbide(M_(2)C)precipitated at the linear dislocations in the as-aged *** segregation of Cr,Mo,and C at phase boundaries favored the precipitation of carbide and caused the formation of Cr-lean *** decomposition of martensitic matrix during aging led to the substantial precipitation of fine Cr-rich(α′Cr)*** with the first aging treated samples,a synergistic enhancement of both strength and ductility of the secondary aging treated(SAT)samples was primarily ascribed to the enhanced precipitation of Cr-rich ***,Ni-rich filmy reversed austenite precipitated at the lath boundary,which was beneficial to the ductility of SAT samples.

CO_(2)emission mitigation is one of the most critical research *** a promising option of carbon capture,utilization and storage(CCUS),CO_(2)storage with enhanced gas recovery(CSEGR)can reduce CO_(2)emission by sequestrating it into gas reservoirs and simultaneously enhance natural gas *** the past decades,the displacement behaviour of CO_(2)—natural gas has been extensively studied and demonstrated to play a key role on both CO_(2)geologic storage and gas recovery *** work thoroughly and critically reviews the experimental and numerical simulation studies of CO_(2)displacing natural gas,along with both CSEGR research and demonstration projects at various *** physical property difference between CO_(2)and natural gas,especially density and viscosity,lays the foundation of *** experiments on displacement behaviour and dispersion characteristics of CO_(2)/natural gas revealed the fundamental mixing characteristics in porous media,which is one key factor of gas recovery efficiency and warrants further *** numerical simulations demonstrated that it is technically and economically feasible to apply CSEGR in depleted gas ***,CO_(2)preferential flow pathways are easy to form(due to reservoir heterogeneity)and thus adversely compromise CSEGR *** preferential flow can be slowed down by connate or injected ***,the optimization of CO_(2)injection strategies is essential for improving gas recovery and CO_(2)storage,which needs further *** successful K12—B pilot project provides insightful field-scale knowledge and experience,which paves a good foundation for commercial *** experiments,simulations,research and demonstration projects are needed to facilitate the maturation of the CSEGR technology.

Microstructure and mechanical properties of non-equiatomic(CuNi)_(100-x)Co_(x)(x=15,20,25 and 30,at.%)medium-entropy alloys(MEAs)prepared by vacuum arc-melting were *** show that all the as-cast MEAs exhibit dual face-centered cubic(fcc)solid-solution phases with identical lattice constant,showing typical dendrite structure consisting of(Ni,Co)-rich phase in dendrites and Cu-rich phase in *** positive enthalpy of mixing among Cu and Ni-Co elements is responsible for the segregation of *** the increase of Co content,the volume fraction of(Ni,Co)-rich phase increases while the Cu-rich phase decreases,resulting in an increment of yield strength and a decrement of elongation for the(CuNi)_(100-x)Co_(x) ***-indentation test results show a great difference of microhardness between the two fcc phases of the *** measured microhardness value of the(Ni,Co)-rich phase is almost twofold as compared to that of the Cu-rich phase in all the(CuNi)_(100-x)Co_(x) *** the deformation of the MEAs,the Cu-rich phase bears the main plastic strain,whereas the(Ni,Co)-rich phase provides more pronounced strengthening.

The perfluorosulfonic acid(PFSA) membrane doped with two-dimensional conductive filler Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) is a fuel cell proton exchange membrane with high application potential. Experimental studies showed that the proton conductivity of Nafion/Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) composite membrane is improved significantly compared with that in pure Nafion. However, the microscopic mechanism of doping on the enhancement of membrane performance is remain unclear now. In this work, molecular dynamics simulation was used to investigate the microscopic morphology and proton transport behaviors of Nafion/Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) composite membrane at the molecular level. The results shown that there were significant differences about the diffusion kinetics of water molecules and hydroxium ions in Nafion/Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) at low and high hydration levels in the nanoscale *** the increase of water content, Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) in membrane was gradually surrounded by ambient water molecules to form a hydration layer, and forming a relatively continuous proton transport channel between Nafion polymer and Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) monomer. The continuous proton transport channel could increase the number of binding sites of proton and thus achieving high proton conductivity and high mobility of water molecules at higher hydration level. The current work can provide a theoretical guidance for designing new type of Nafion composite membranes.

To ensure the safe performance of deep-sea mining vehicles(DSMVs),it is necessary to study the mechanical characteristics of the interaction between the seabed soil and the track *** rotation and digging motions of the track plate are important links in the contact between the driving mechanism of the DSMV and seabed *** this study,a numerical simulation is conducted using the coupled Eulerian–Lagrangian(CEL)large deformation numerical method to investigate the interaction between the track plate of the DSMV and the seabed soil under two working conditions:rotating condition and digging ***,a soil numerical model is established based on the elastoplastic mechanical characterization using the basic physical and mechanical properties of the seabed soil obtained by in situ ***,the soil disturbance mechanism and the dynamic mechanical response of the track plate under rotating and digging conditions are obtained through the analysis of the sensitivity of the motion parameters,the grouser structure,the layered soil features and the soil *** results indicate that the above parameters remarkably influence the interaction between the DSMV and the seabed ***,it is important to consider the rotating and digging motion of the DSMV in practical engineering to develop a detailed optimization design of the track plate.

Independent component analysis was applied to analyze the acoustic signals from diesel engine. First the basic prin-ciple of independent component analysis (ICA) was reviewed. Diesel engine acoustic signal was decomposed into several inde-pendent components (ICs); Fourier transform and continuous wavelet transform (CWT) were applied to analyze the independent components. Different noise sources of the diesel engine were separated, based on the characteristics of different component in time-frequency domain.
