Designing hybrid materials with numerous catalytic active sites,high specific surface area,and interfacial interactions is an effective strategy to improve electrocatalytic *** this work,iron-based metal organic frameworks（Fe-MOFs）@（Co,Ni）Fe-layered double hydroxide（LDH） is successfully constructed using the similar "MOF growing on LDH" strategy for oxygen evolution reaction and hydrogen evolution reaction in the alkaline *** synthesized hybrid materials in this particular way show excellent electrochemical overall water-splitting performance with the cell voltage of 1.62 V at10 mA·cm-2in the alkaline environment due to the optimized adsorption/desorption properties of metal ions on oxygencontaining species and interfacial effects of hybrid ***-MOFs@（Co,Ni）Fe-LDH also exhibits excellent hydrogen and oxygen production efficiency of 370 and 175 μL·min-1,*** work draws on an effective approach to the fabrication of MOF@LDH structures and provides new insights into overall water-splitting in alkaline conditions.

As a complement to X-ray computed tomography (CT), neutron tomography has been extensively used in nuclear engineering, materials science, cultural heritage, and industrial applications. Reconstruction of the attenuation matrix for neutron tomography with a traditional analytical algorithm requires hundreds of projection views in the range of 0°to 180°and typically takes several hours to complete. Such a low time-resolved resolution degrades the quality of neutron *** the number of projection acquisitions is an important approach to improve the time resolution of images; however,this requires efficient reconstruction algorithms. Therefore, sparse-view reconstruction algorithms in neutron tomography need to be investigated. In this study, we investigated the three-dimensional reconstruction algorithm for sparse-view neutron CT scans. To enhance the reconstructed image quality of neutron CT, we propose an algorithm that uses OS-SART to reconstruct images and a split Bregman to solve for the total variation (SBTV). A comparative analysis of the performances of each reconstruction algorithm was performed using simulated and actual experimental data. According to the analyzed results, OS-SART-SBTV is superior to the other algorithms in terms of denoising, suppressing artifacts, and preserving detailed structural information of images.

Molecular ferroelastics with the natural features of mechanical flexibility and switchable spontaneous strain have attracted widespread attention in the scientific community due to their potential applications in tunable gratings,flexible memorizers,strain sensors,and intelligent ***,most designs of molecular ferroelastics remain in the stage of blind exploration,posing a challenge to achieve a functional ferroelastic more ***,we have successfully obtained a molecular ferroelastic,[Me_(2)NH(CH_(2))_(2)NH_(3)](ReO_(4))_(2)(Me_(2)NH(CH_(2))_(2)NH_(3)=N,N-dimethylethylenediammonium),under the guidance of the mono-/double-protonation ***_double-protonated[Me_(2)NH(CH_(2))_(2)NH_(3)](ReO_(4))_(2) undergoes a paraelastic-ferroelastic phase transition with the Aizu notation of 2/mFi at 322 ***,the theoretical calculation and experimental measurement simultaneously show that[Me_(2)NH(CH_(2))_(2)NH_(3)](ReO_(4))_(2) possesses good mechanical flexibility,because its elastic modulus(E)of 8.26 GPa and hardness(H)of 0.45 GPa are smaller than the average values of organic crystals(E of 12.05 GPa and H of 0.5 GPa),which makes it promising to apply in wearable pressure sensors,implantable medical sensors,high-precision tuners,*** work further enriches the molecular ferroelastic family and demonstrates that mono-/double-protonation is one of the effective molecular modification strategies for designing ferroelastics.

Glycerol solutions of highly concentrated biomineral counter-ions towards water-responsive mineralization: Demonstration on bacterial cellulose and its application in hard tissue repair

Mineralization has found widespread use in the fabrication of composite biomaterials for hard tissue *** current mineralization processes are mainly carried out in neutral aqueous solutions of biomineral counter-ions(a pair of cation and anion that form the corresponding minerals at certain conditions),which are stable only at very low *** typically results in inefficient mineralization and weak control over biomineral ***,we find that,in the organic solvent glycerol,a variety of biomineral counter-ions(e.g.,Ca/PO_(4),Ca/CO_(3),Ca/SO_(4),Mg/PO_(4),or Fe/OH)corresponding to distinct biominerals at significantly high concentrations(up to hundreds-fold greater than those of simulated body fluid(SBF))are able to form translucent and stable solutions(mineralizing solution of highly concentrated counter-ions(MSCIs)),and mineralization can be triggered upon them with external solvents(e.g.,water or ethanol).Furthermore,with pristine bacterial cellulose(BC)membrane as a model,we demonstrate an effective and controllable mineralization performance of MSCIs on organic *** approach not only forms the homogeneous biominerals on the BC fibers and in the interspaces,but also provides regulations over mineralization rate,mineral content,phase,and *** resulting mineralized BC membranes(MBCs)exhibit high cytocompatibility and favor the proliferation of rat bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells(rBMSC).Following this,we prepare a mineralized bone suture(MBS)from MBC for non-weight bearing bone fixation,which then is tested on a rabbit median sternotomy *** shows firm fixation of the rabbit sternum without causing discernible toxicity or inflammatory *** study,by extending the mineralization to the organic solution system of highly concentrated counter-ions,develops a promising strategy to design and build targeted mineral-based composites.

Recent advances in hydrocarbon exploration have been made in the Member Deng-2 marginal microbial mound-bank complex reservoirs of the Dengying Formation in the western Sichuan Basin, SW China,where the depositional process is regarded confusing. The microfacies, construction types, and depositional model of the Member Deng-2 marginal microbial mound-bank complex have been investigated using unmanned aerial vehicle photography, outcrop section investigation, thin section identification,and seismic reflections in the southwestern Sichuan Basin. The microbialite lithologic textures in this region include thrombolite, dendrolite, stromatolite, fenestral stromatolite, spongiostromata stone,oncolite, aggregated grainstone, and botryoidal grapestone. Based on the comprehensive analysis of“depositional fabrics-lithology-microfacies”, an association between a fore mound, mound framework,and back mound subfacies has been proposed based on water depth, current direction, energy level and lithologic assemblages. The microfacies of the mound base, mound core, mound flank, mound cap, and mound flat could be recognized among the mound framework subfacies. Two construction types of marginal microbial mound-bank complex have been determined based on deposition location, mound scale, migration direction, and sedimentary facies association. Type Jinkouhe microbial mound constructions(TJMMCs) develop along the windward margin owing to their proximity to the seaward subfacies fore mound, with a northeastwardly migrated microbial mound on top of the mud mound,exhibiting the characteristics of large-sized mounds and small-sized banks in the surrounding area. Type E'bian microbial mound constructions(TEMMCs) primarily occur on the leeward margin, resulting from the presence of onshore back mound subfacies, with the smaller southwestward migrated microbial mounds existing on a thicker microbial flat. Doyle-Kirmse rearrangement reactions have received continuous attention as an important method for constructing complex chemical structures. Herein, we disclosed an efficient rhodium-catalyzed DoyleKirmse rearrangement reaction, which can simultaneously construct C–C bonds and C–X(X = S/Se) bonds using sulfoxonium ylides as starting materials to obtain sulfur-or selenium-containing compounds. This strategy is characterized by the safer and greener carbene precursor, high yields and broad substrate scope, possessing a wide range of application.

Fluorescence Anisotropy(FA)is an effective biochemical detection method based on molecular *** oxide(GO)has been extensively used as an FA ***,the enhancement of FA by GO alone is limited and the strong scattering of GO will easily make the measurement of FA *** order to address these problems,an octopus-like DNA nanostructure(ODN)was designed and coupled with GO to enhance the FA together in this *** mimicking the multi-clawed structure of the octopus,the ODN can be adsorbed on GO tightly,which not only could improve the sensitivity because of the double FA enhancement abilities of GO and ODN,but also could improve the specificity due to the decrease of the nonspecific interaction in complex ***,ODN could maintain a certain distance between the fluorophore and GO to reduce the fluorescence quenching efficiency of GO,which could improve the *** method has been applied for the detection of hepatitis B virus DNA(HBV-DNA)in a range of 1-50 nmol/L and the limit of detection(LOD)was 330 pmol/*** addition,the proposed method has been successfully utilized to detect HBV-DNA in human serum,indicating that this method has a great practical application prospect.

A novel micro-nano Ti−10Cu−10Ni−8Al−8Nb−4Zr−1.5Hf filler was used to vacuum braze Ti−47Al−2Nb−2Cr−0.15B alloy at 1160−1220°C for 30 *** interfacial microstructure and formation mechanism of TiAl joints and the relationships among brazing temperature,interfacial microstructure and joint strength were emphatically *** show that the TiAl joints brazed at 1160 and 1180°C possess three interfacial layers and mainly consist ofα2-Ti3Al,τ3-Al3NiTi2 and Ti2Ni,but the brazing seams are no longer layered and Ti2Ni is completely replaced by the uniformly distributedτ3-Al3NiTi2 at 1200 and 1220°C due to the destruction ofα2-Ti3Al barrier *** transformation at 1200°C obviously improves the tensile strength of the joint and obtains a maximum of 343 ***,the outward diffusion of Al atoms from the dissolution of TiAl substrate dominates the microstructure evolution and tensile strength of the TiAl joint at different brazing temperatures.
