Enrichment and reconfiguration of titanium-bearing phase in vortex smelting reduction process of vanadium-titanium magnetite

To comprehensively utilize the low-iron high-vanadium-titanium magnetite,a new method of vortex smelting reduction of vanadium-titanium magnetite was proposed,and the enrichment and reconstitution regularity of Ti-bearing phases in the slag was investigated through X-ray fluorescence spectrometry,X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy,X-ray diffraction analysis,and optical *** phase diagram revealed that the preferential crystallization of MgTi_(2)O_(5) can be achieved by adjusting the CaO,MgO,and TiO_(2) contents of *** predominant Ti-bearing phases in the slag obtained from the reduction process are MgxTi_(3_x)O_(5)(0≤x≤1)and CaTiO_(3).FeTiO_(3) is present at carbon-iron ratio(CR)=1.3,while MgTi_(2)O4 and TiC are formed at CR=*** enrichment of TiO_(2) in the slag increases first and then decreases as the CR increases,and at CR=1.1,the enrichment of TiO_(2) in the slag reaches 51.3 wt.%.Additionally,the concentrations of MgxTi_(3_x)O_(5)(0≤x≤1)and CaTiO_(3) in the slag,along with the grain width of MgxTi_(3_x)O_(5)(0≤x≤1),decrease with the increase in CR.

To simultaneously endow thermal conductivity,high glass transition temperature(Tg)and healing capability to glass fiber/epoxy(GFREP)composite,dynamic crosslinked epoxy resin bearing reversibleβ-hydroxyl ester bonds was reinforced with boron nitride nanosheets modified glass fiber cloth(GFC@BNNSs).The in-plane heat conduction paths were constructed by electrostatic self-assembly of polyacrylic acid treated GFC and polyethyleneimine decorated ***,the GFC@BNNSs were impregnated with the mixture of lower concentration(3-glycidyloxypropyl)trimethoxysilane grafted BN micron sheets,3,4-epoxycyclohexylmethyl 3,4-epoxycyclohexanecarboxylate and hexahydro-4-methylphthalic anhydride,which accounted for establishing the through-plane heat transport pathways and avoiding serious deterioration of mechanical *** resultant GFREP composite containing less boron nitride particles(17.6 wt%)exhibited superior in-plane(3.29 W·m^(-1)·K^(-1))and through-plane(1.16 W·m^(-1)·K^(-1))thermal conductivities,as well as high Tg of 204℃(Tg of the unfilled epoxy=177℃).The reversible transesterification reaction enabled closure of interlaminar cracks within the composite,achieving decent healing efficiencies estimated by means of tensile strength(71.2%),electrical breakdown strength(83.6%)and thermal conductivity(69.1%).The present work overcame the disadvantages of conventional thermally conductive composites,and provided an efficient approach to prolong the life span of thermally conductive GFREP laminate for high-temperature resistant integrated circuit application.

Background： This study evaluated the efficacy of percutaneous nucleoplasty using coblation technique for the treatment of chronic nonspecific low back pain （LBP）, after 5 years of follow-up. Methods： From September 2004 to November 2006, 172 patients underwent percutaneous nucleoplasty for chronic LBP in our department. Forty-one of these patients were followed up for a mean period of 67 months. Nucleoplasty was performed at L3/4 in 1 patient; L4/5 in 25 patients; L5/$1 in 2 patients; L3/4 and L4/5 in 2 patients; L4/5 and L5/$1 in 7 patients; and L3/4, L4/5, and L5/$1 in 4 patients. Patients were assessed preoperatively and at 1 week, 1 year, 3 years, and 5 years postoperatively. Pain was graded using a 10-cm Visual Analogue Scale （VAS） and the percentage reduction in pain score was calculated at each postoperative time point. The Oswestry Disability Index （ODI） was used to assess disability-related to lumbar spine degeneration, and patient satisfaction was assessed using the modified MacNab criteria. Results： There were significant differences among the preoperative, 1-week postoperative, and 3-year postoperative VAS and ODI scores, but not between the 3- and 5-year postoperative scores. There were no significant differences in age, sex, or preoperative symptoms between patients with effective and ineffective treatment, but there were significant differences in the number of levels treated, Pfirrmann grade of intervertebral disc degeneration, and provocative discography findings between these two groups. Excellent or good patient satisfaction was achieved in 87.9% of patients after 1 week, 72.4% after 1 year, 67.7% after 3 years, and 63.4% at the last follow-up. Conclusions： Although previously published short- and medium-term outcomes after percutaneous nucleoplasty appeared to be satisfactory, our long-term follow-up results show a significant decline in patient satisfaction over time. Submodular optimization is widely used in large *** order to speed up the problems solving,it is essential to design low-adaptive algorithms to achieve acceleration in *** general,the function values are given by a value oracle,but in practice,the oracle queries may consume a lot of ***,how to strike a balance between optimizing them is *** this paper,we focus on maximizing a normalized and strictly monotone set function with the diminishing-return ratio under a cardinality constraint,and propose two algorithms to deal with *** apply the adaptive sequencing technique to devise the first algorithm,whose approximation ratio is arbitrarily close to 1-e^(-γ)in O(logn·log(log k/γ)) adaptive rounds,and requires O(logn^(2)·log(log k/γ)) *** by adding preprocessing and parameter estimation steps to the first algorithm,we get the second *** second algorithm trades a small sacrifice in adaptive complexity for a significant improvement in query *** the same approximation and adaptive complexity,the query complexity is improved *** the best of our knowledge,this is the first paper of designing adaptive algorithms for maximizing a monotone function using the diminishing-return ratio.

Dielectric barrier discharge(DBD)is considered as a promising technique to produce large volume uniform plasma at atmospheric pressure,and the dielectric barrier layer between the electrodes plays a key role in the DBD processes and enhancing discharge *** this work,the uniformity and discharge characteristics of the nanosecond(ns)pulsed DBD with dielectric barrier layers made of alumina,quartz glass,polycarbonate(PC),and polypropylene(PP)are investigated via discharge image observation,voltage-current waveform measurement and optical emission spectral *** analyzing discharge image by gray value standard deviation method,the discharge uniformity is quantitatively *** effects of the space electric field intensity,the electron density(Ne),and the space reactive species on the uniformity are studied with quantifying the gap voltage Ug and the discharge current Ig,analyzing the recorded optical emission spectra,and simulating the temporal distribution of Ne with a one-dimensional fluid *** is found that as the relative permittivity of the dielectric materials increases,the space electric field intensity is enhanced,which results in a higher Ne and electron temperature(Te).Therefore,an appropriate value of space electric field intensity can promote electron avalanches,resulting in uniform and stable plasma by the merging of electron ***,an excessive value of space electric field intensity leads to the aggregation of space charges and the distortion of the space electric field,which reduce the discharge *** surface roughness and the surface charge decay are measured to explain the influences of the surface properties and the second electron emission on the discharge *** results in this work give a comprehensive understanding of the effect of the dielectric materials on the DBD uniformity,and contribute to the selection of dielectric materials for DBD reactor and the realization of atmospheric pre

Currently,the major challenge in terms of research on K-ion batteries is to ensure that they possess satisfactory cycle stability and specific capacity,especially in terms of the intrinsically sluggish kinetics induced by the large radius of K+***,we explore high-performance K-ion half/full batteries with high rate capability,high specific capacity,and extremely durable cycle stability based on carbon nanosheets with tailored N dopants,which can alleviate the change of volume,increase electronic conductivity,and enhance the K+ion *** as-assembled K-ion half-batteries show an excellent rate capability of 468 mA h g^(−1) at 100 mA g^(−1),which is superior to those of most carbon materials reported to ***,the as-assembled half-cells have an outstanding life span,running 40,000 cycles over 8 months with a specific capacity retention of 100%at a high current density of 2000 mA g^(−1),and the target full cells deliver a high reversible specific capacity of 146 mA h g^(−1) after 2000 cycles over 2 months,with a specific capacity retention of 113%at a high current density of 500 mA g^(−1),both of which are state of the art in the field of K-ion *** study might provide some insights into and potential avenues for exploration of advanced K-ion batteries with durable stability for practical applications.
