An Efficient Multi-objective Approach Based on Golden Jackal Search for Dynamic Economic Emission Dispatch

Dynamic Economic Emission Dispatch(DEED)aims to optimize control over fuel cost and pollution emission,two conflicting objectives,by scheduling the output power of various units at specific *** many methods well-performed on the DEED problem,most of them fail to achieve expected results in practice due to a lack of effective trade-off mechanisms between the convergence and diversity of non-dominated optimal dispatching *** address this issue,a new multi-objective solver called Multi-Objective Golden Jackal Optimization(MOGJO)algorithm is proposed to cope with the DEED *** proposed algorithm first stores non-dominated optimal solutions found so far into an ***,it chooses the best dispatching solution from the archive as the leader through a selection mechanism designed based on elite selection strategy and Euclidean distance index *** mechanism can guide the algorithm to search for better dispatching solutions in the direction of reducing fuel costs and pollutant ***,the basic golden jackal optimization algorithm has the drawback of insufficient search,which hinders its ability to effectively discover more Pareto *** this end,a non-linear control parameter based on the cosine function is introduced to enhance global exploration of the dispatching space,thus improving the efficiency of finding the optimal dispatching *** proposed MOGJO is evaluated on the latest CEC benchmark test functions,and its superiority over the state-of-the-art multi-objective optimizers is highlighted by performance ***,empirical results on 5-unit,10-unit,IEEE 30-bus,and 30-unit systems show that the MOGJO can provide competitive compromise scheduling solutions compared to published DEED ***,in the analysis of the Pareto dominance relationship and the Euclidean distance index,the optimal dispatching solutions provided by MOGJO are the closest to the ideal solutions for minimizing fuel costs

Set-Membership Filtering Approach to Dynamic Event-Triggered Fault Estimation for a Class of Nonlinear Time-Varying Complex Networks

The present study addresses the problem of fault estimation for a specific class of nonlinear time-varying complex networks,utilizing an unknown-input-observer approach within the framework of dynamic event-triggered mechanism(DETM).In order to optimize communication resource utilization,the DETM is employed to determine whether the current measurement data should be transmitted to the estimator or *** guarantee a satisfactory estimation performance for the fault signal,an unknown-input-observer-based estimator is constructed to decouple the estimation error dynamics from the influence of fault *** aim of this paper is to find the suitable estimator parameters under the effects of DETM such that both the state estimates and fault estimates are confined within two sets of closed ellipsoid *** techniques of recursive matrix inequality are applied to derive sufficient conditions for the existence of the desired estimator,ensuring that the specified performance requirements are met under certain ***,the estimator gains are derived by minimizing the ellipsoid domain in the sense of trace and a recursive estimator parameter design algorithm is then ***,a numerical example is conducted to demonstrate the effectiveness of the designed estimator.

Gyroscope Dynamic Balance Counterweight Prediction Based on Multi-Head ResGAT Networks

Geometry of holomorphic invariant strongly pseudoconvex complex Finsler metrics on the classical domains

In this paper,a class of holomorphic invariant metrics is introduced on the irreducible classical domains of typesⅠ-Ⅳ,which are strongly pseudoconvex complex Finsler metrics in the strict sense of Abate and Patrizio(1994).These metrics are of particular interest in several complex variables since they are holomorphic invariant complex Finsler metrics found in the literature which enjoy good regularity as well as strong pseudoconvexity and can be explicitly expressed to admit differential geometry *** are,however,not necessarily Hermitian quadratic as the Bergman *** metrics are explicitly constructed via deformation of the corresponding Bergman metric on the irreducible classical domains of typesⅠ-Ⅳ,respectively,and they are all proved to be complete K?hler-Berwald *** enjoy very similar curvature properties as those of the Bergman metric on the irreducible classical domains,i.e.,their holomorphic sectional curvatures are bounded between two negative constants and their holomorphic bisectional curvatures are always nonpositive and bounded below by negative constants,*** the viewpoint of complex analysis,these metrics are analogs of Bergman metrics in complex Finsler geometry which do not necessarily have Hermitian quadratic restrictions in the sense of Chern(1996).

Nickel Sulfide Modified NiCu Nanoalloy with Excellent Oxygen Evolution Reaction Properties Prepared through Electrospinning and Heat Treatment

Ni^(2+)/Cu^(2+)/SO_(4)^(2-)/polyvinyl alcohol precursor fibers with uniform diameters were prepared through ***-based composite nanoalloys containing Ni,Cu,and S were prepared through heat treatment in an Ar *** experimental results show that the main components of the prepared nanoalloys are NiCu,Ni_(3)S_(2),Ni,and *** nanoalloys exhibit fine grain sizes about 200-500 nm,which can increase with increasing heat treatment *** test results show that the nickel sulfidemodified NiCu nanoalloy composites exhibit excellent oxygen evolution reaction properties,and the oxygen evolution reaction properties gradually improve with the increasing heat treatment *** sample prepared at 1 000℃ for 40 min show a low overpotential of 423 mV and a small Tafel slope of 134 mV·dec^(-1) at a current density of 10 mA·cm^(-2).

Survey on Construction of Safety Case Arguments

Safety cases provide clear, comprehensive, and reliable arguments which mean that a system’s operation under a specific environment meets acceptable safety levels. In safety-critical sectors subject to regulations such as automotive, aviation, and nuclear industries, certification authorities often require the system to undergo a rigorous safety assessment process and thus demonstrate that the system complies with one or more safety standards. The safety case utilization in system development is an emerging technical means to express the safety attributes of safety-critical systems in a structured and comprehensive way. This study briefly introduces the four basic steps of building a safety case, including determining the goal, gathering evidence, constructing arguments, and evaluating the case, and then focuses on the key step of constructing arguments. Meanwhile, eight existing forms of safety case expressions are introduced in detail, containing goal structuring notation (GSN), claim-argument-evidence (CAE), and structured assurance case metamodel (SACM), with their strengths and weaknesses analyzed. Given the significant complexity of the materials required for safety cases, software tools are often adopted as practical methods for constructing and evaluating safety cases. Additionally, seven tools for developing and evaluating safety cases are compared, including astah system safety, gsn2x, NOR-STA, Socrates, ASCE, D-Case Editor, and AdvoCATE. Furthermore, this study delves into multiple challenges in building safety cases. These challenges include data reliability and integrity, complexity and uncertainty management, inconsistencies in regulations and standards, human factor engineering, rapid technological advancements, and challenges in team and interdisciplinary collaboration. IL-17 A is a promoter of colorectal cancer initiation and *** is a polyhydroxy alkaloid compound isolated from Narcissus plants,which has potent anti-inflammatory and antitumor *** effects of narciclasine on colorectal tumors were evaluated,with a focus on IL-17 *** reduced the growth of HCT-116 and SW-480 colon cancer cells in vitro and in vivo in murine *** results of flow cytometry on JC-1 and Annexin V/PI revealed that narciclasine significantly reduced the mitochondrial membrane potential and induced apoptosis,findings confirmed by western blotting results of reduced Bcl2 and enhanced Bax expression,as well as accumulation of cleaved Caspase-3,Caspase-8,Caspase-9,and cytoplasmic *** narciclasine incubation,IL-17 A,Act1,and TRAF6 were down-regulated,while p-P65(Ser536)accumulated in the cytoplasm,a finding confirmed by laser scanning confocal ***17A substitution could partly reverse these narciclasine effects while they were elevated by IL17A ***,IL-17 A,Act1,and TRAF6 were significantly expressed to greater extents in human colorectal cancer compared to normal adjacent tissue specimens and were closely linked with a poor *** study provided evidence that narciclasine may be a useful therapeutic drug for colorectal cancer treatment through its actions in down-regulating the L-17A/Act1/TRAF6/NF-kB anti-apoptotic signaling pathway.

BACKGROUND Differences in the preoperative characteristics and weight loss outcomes after sleeve gastrectomy(SG)between patients with familial aggregation of obesity(FAO)and patients with sporadic obesity(SO)have not been *** To explore the impact of SG on weight loss and the alleviation of obesity-related comorbidities in individuals with *** A total of 193 patients with obesity who underwent SG were *** with FAO/SO were matched 1:1 by propensity score matching and were categorized into 4 groups based on the number of first-degree relatives with obesity(1 SO vs 1FAO,2SO vs 2FAO).The baseline characteristics,weight loss outcomes,prevalence of obesity-related comorbidities and incidence of major surgeryrelated complications were compared between *** We defined FAO as the presence of two or more first-degree relatives with *** with FAO did not initially show significant differences in baseline data,short-term postoperative weight loss,or obesity-related comorbidities when compared to patients with SO ***,distinctions between the two groups became evident at the two-year mark,with statistically significant differences in both percentage of total weight loss(P=0.006)and percentage of excess weight loss(P<0.001).The FAO group exhibited weaker remission of type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM)(P=0.031),hyperlipidemia(P=0.012),and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD)(P=0.003)as well as a lower incidence of acid reflux(P=0.038).CONCLUSION FAO patients is associated with decreased mid-to-long-term weight loss outcomes;the alleviation of T2DM,hyperlipidemia and NAFLD;and decreased incidence of acid reflux postoperatively.

Two-dimensional(2D)materials that combine ferromagnetic,semiconductor,and piezoelectric properties hold significant potential for both fundamental research and spin electronic ***,the majority of reported 2D ferromagnetic-semiconductor-piezoelectric materials rely on d-electron systems,which limits their practical applications due to a Curie temperature lower than room temperature(RT).Here,we report a high-crystallinity carbon nitride(CCN)material based on sp-electrons using a chemical vapor deposition *** exhibits a band gap of 1.8 eV and has been confirmed to possess substantial in-plane and out-of-plane ***,we acquired clear evidences of ferromagnetic behavior at room *** structural characterizations combined with theoretical calculations reveal that incorporating structural oxygen into the highly ordered heptazine structure causes partial substitution of nitrogen sites,which is primarily responsible for generating room-temperature ferromagnetism and *** a result,the strain in wrinkles can effectively modulate the domain behavior and piezoelectric potential at room *** addition of RT ferromagnetic-semiconductor-piezoelectric material based on sp-electrons to the family of two-dimensional materials opens up numerous possibilities for novel applications in fundamental research and spin electronic devices.
