BACKGROUND Hydrodissection is a widely used technique during radiofrequency ablation(RFA)for benign thyroid *** it could effectively avoid thermal injury to the surrounding critical structures and achieve complete treatment,routine operation of the remaining needle could cause perithyroidal *** this report,we present 2 cases of perithyroidal hemorrhage during RFA caused by a hydrodissection needle,which have not been reported *** SUMMARY A 21-year-old female and a 45-year-old male were admitted for RFA for benign thyroid *** that their nodules were adjacent to the recurrent laryngeal nerve,the needle used for hydrodissection was placed and remained between the dorsal capsule of the lateral lobe and the recurrent laryngeal *** the procedure,active bleeding near the needle appeared on ultrasonography(US).Although moderate pressure was quickly applied to the neck for several minutes,contrast-enhanced US(CEUS)still showed an active hemorrhage.A radiofrequency electrode was placed at the bleeding point under the guidance of CEUS to stop the bleeding,and the procedure was finally confirmed to be successful by CEUS,without other *** Hydrodissection during RFA of benign thyroid nodules was associated with a risk of perithyroidal *** timely recognition of this acute hemorrhage could help in the timely control of the bleeding,and CEUS-guided ablation of the bleeding point could be useful.

Exploring Heterogeneous NoC Design Space in Heterogeneous GPU-CPU Architectures

Computer architecture is transiting from the multicore era into the heterogeneous era in which heterogeneous architectures use on-chip networks to access shared resources and how a network is configured will likely have a significant impact on overall performance and power consumption. Recently, heterogeneous network on chip （NoC） has been proposed not only to achieve performance comparable to that of the NoCs with buffered routers but also to reduce buffer cost and energy consumption. However, heterogeneous NoC design for heterogeneous GPU-CPU architectures has not been studied in depth. This paper first evaluates the performance and power consumption of a variety of static hot-potato based heterogeneous NoCs with different buffered and bufferless router placements, which is helpful to explore the design space for heterogeneous GPU-CPU interconnection. Then it proposes Unidirectional Flow Control （UFC）, a simple credit-based flow control mechanism for heterogeneous NoC in GPU-CPU architectures to control network congestion. UFC can guarantee that there are always unoccupied entries in buffered routers to receive flits coming from adjacent bufferless routers. Our evaluations show that when compared to hot-potato routing, UFC improves performance by an average of 14.1% with energy increased by an average of 5.3% only.

针对跳频多址(FHMA)系统,提出了干扰子空间线性最小均方误差(MMSE)检测器和干扰子空间的快速跟踪算法。该算法通过添加噪声子空间得到了整个干扰自相关矩阵的权矢量,避免了同时对特征值对角阵和特征向量矩阵进行跟踪。结合神经网络学习机制中的NIC(NovelInformation Criterion)准则,进行权矢量的快速更新,降低了复杂度。仿真证明,该检测器具有很好的误码性能,收敛速度更快。

Objective： This systematic review examined whether radiofrequency ablation （RFA） is a sate treatment modality for benign thyroid nodules （BTNs）. Data Sources： PubMed, Embase, and the Cochrane Library database were searched for articles that （a） targeted human beings and （b） had a study population with BTNs that were confirmed by fine-needle aspiration cytology and/or core needle biopsy. Study Selection： Thirty-two studies relating to 3409 patients were included in this systematic review. Results： Based on literatures, no deaths were associated with the procedure, serious complications were rare, and RFA appears to be a sale and well-tolerated treatment modality. However, a broad spectrum of complications offers insights into some undesirable complications, such as track needle seeding and Hornet syndrome. Conclusions： RFA appears to be a safe and well-tolerated treatment modality for BTNs. More research is needed to characterize the complications of RFA for thyroid nodules.

Transition metal-based nanomaterials have emerged as promising electrocatalysts for oxygen evolution reaction（OER）. Considerable research efforts have shown that self-reconstruction occurs on these nanomaterials under operating conditions of OER process. However, most of them undergo incomplete reconstruction with limited thickness of reconstruction layer, leading to low component utilization and arduous exploration of real catalytic mechanism. Herein, we identify the dynamic behaviors in complete reconstruction of Co-based complexes during OER. The hollow phytic acid（PA） cross-linked CoFe-based complex nanoboxes with porous nanowalls are designed because of their good electrolyte penetration and mass transport ability, in favor of the fast and complete reconstruction. A series of experiment characterizations demonstrate that the reconstruction process includes the fast substitution of PA by OH-to form Co（Fe）(OH)xand subsequent potential-driven oxidation to Co（Fe）OOH. The obtained CoFeOOH delivers a low overpotential of 290 mV at a current density of 10 mA cm-2and a long-term *** experiment results together with theory calculations reveal that the Fe incorporation can result in the electron rearrangement of reconstructed CoFeOOH and optimization of their electronic structure,accounting for the enhanced OER activity. The work provides new insights into complete reconstruction of metal-based complexes during OER and offers guidelines for rational design of high-performance electrocatalysts.
