Mechanical and damping performances of TPMS lattice metamaterials fabricated by laser powder bed fusion

Lattice metamaterials based on three-period minimum surface(TPMS)are an effective means to achieve lightweight and high-strength materials which are widely used in various fields such as aerospace and ***,its vibration and noise reduction,and damping properties have not been fully ***,in this study,the TPMS structures with parameterization were designed by the method of surface migration,and the TPMS structures with high forming quality was manufactured by laser powder bed fusion(LPBF).The mechanical properties and energy absorption characteristics of the beam and TPMS structures were studied and compared by quasi-static *** modal shapes of the beam lattice structures and TPMS structures were obtained by the free modal analysis,and the damping properties of two structures were obtained by modal *** the two structures after heat treatment with the same porosity of 70%,the yield strength of the beam lattice structure reaches 40.76 MPa,elastic modulus is 20.38 GPa,the energy absorption value is 32.23 MJ·m^(-3),the damping ratio is 0.52%.The yield strength,elastic modulus,energy absorption value,and damping ratio of the TPMS structure are 50.74 MPa,25.37 GPa,47.34 MJ·m^(-3),and 0.99%,*** results show that TPMS structures exhibit more excellent mechanical properties and energy absorption,better damping performance,and obvious advantages in structural load and vibration and noise reduction compared with the beam lattice structures under the same porosity.

Single event effects evaluation on convolution neural network in Xilinx 28 nm system on chip

Convolutional neural networks(CNNs) exhibit excellent performance in the areas of image recognition and object detection, which can enhance the intelligence level of spacecraft. However, in aerospace, energetic particles, such as heavy ions, protons, and alpha particles, can induce single event effects(SEEs) that lead CNNs to malfunction and can significantly impact the reliability of a CNN system. In this paper, the MNIST CNN system was constructed based on a 28 nm systemon-chip(SoC), and then an alpha particle irradiation experiment and fault injection were applied to evaluate the SEE of the CNN system. Various types of soft errors in the CNN system have been detected, and the SEE cross sections have been calculated. Furthermore, the mechanisms behind some soft errors have been explained. This research will provide technical support for the design of radiation-resistant artificial intelligence chips.

Nanoparticles(NPs)have gained significant attention as a functional material due to their ability to effectively enhance pressure reduction in injection processes in ultra-low permeability *** are typically studied in controlled laboratory conditions,and their behavior in real-world,complex environments such as ultra-low permeability reservoirs,is not well understood due to the limited scope of their *** study investigates the efficacy and underlying mechanisms of NPs in decreasing injection pressure under various injection conditions(25—85℃,10—25 MPa).The results reveal that under optimal injection conditions,NPs effectively reduce injection pressure by a maximum of 22.77%in core *** pressure reduction rate is found to be positively correlated with oil saturation and permeability,and negatively correlated with temperature and ***,particle image velocimetry(PIV)experiments(25℃,atmospheric pressure)indicate that the pressure reduction is achieved by NPs through the reduction of wall shear resistance and wettability *** work has important implications for the design of water injection strategies in ultra-low permeability reservoirs.

Rehmanniae Radix Praeparata aqueous extract improves hepatic ischemia/reperfusion injury by restoring intracellular iron homeostasis

Hepatic ischemia/reperfusion injury(HIRI)is a common pathophysiological condition occurring during or after liver resection and transplantation,leading to hepatic viability impairment and functional ***,ferroptosis,a newly recognized form of programmed cell death,has been implicated in *** Radix Praeparata(RRP),extensively used in Chinese herbal medicine for its hepatoprotective,anti-inflammatory,and antioxidant properties,presents a potential therapeutic ***,the mechanisms by which RRP mitigates HIRI,particularly through the regulation of ferroptosis,remain *** this study,we developed a HIRI mouse model and monocrotaline(MCT)-and erastin-induced in vitro hepatocyte injury *** conducted whole-genome transcriptome analysis to elucidate the protective effects and mechanisms of RRP on *** RRP aqueous extract was characterized by the presence of acteoside,rehmannioside D,and *** results demonstrate that the RRP aqueous extract ameliorated oxidative stress,reduced intracellular iron accumulation,and attenuated HIRI-induced liver ***,RRP significantly inhibited hepatocyte death by restoring intracellular iron homeostasis both in vivo and in ***,the RRP aqueous extract reduced intrahepatocellular iron accumulation by inhibiting ZIP14-mediated iron uptake,promoting hepcidin-and ferroportin-mediated iron efflux,and ameliorating mitochondrial iron aggregation through upregulation of Cisd1 ***,siRNA-mediated inhibition of hamp synergistically enhanced the RRP aqueous extract's inhibitory effect on *** conclusion,our study elucidates the mechanisms by which RRP aqueous extracts alleviate HIRI,highlighting the restoration of iron metabolic *** findings position RRP as a promising candidate for clinical intervention in HIRI treatment.

Convergent morphological evolution is widespread in flowering plants,and understanding this phenomenon relies on well-resolved *** phylogenetic reconstruction using transcriptome datasets has been successful in various angiosperm groups,but it is limited to taxa with available fresh ***,which are one of the two largest angiosperm families and are important for both ecosystems and human livelihood,show multiple examples of convergent *** Asteraceae phylogenies have resolved relationships among most subfamilies and many tribes,but many phylogenetic and evolutionary questions regarding subtribes and genera remain,owing to limited ***,we increased the sampling for Asteraceae phylogenetic reconstruction using transcriptomes and genome-skimming datasets and produced nuclear phylogenetic trees with 706 species representing two-thirds of recognized *** character reconstruction supports multiple convergent evolutionary events in Asteraceae,with gains and losses of bilateral floral symmetry correlated with diversification of some subfamilies and smaller groups,*** of the calyx-related pappus may have been especially important for the success of some subtribes and *** evolutionary analyses support the likely contribution of duplications of maDS-box and TCP floral regulatory genes to innovations in floral morphology,including capitulum inflorescences and bilaterally symmetric flowers,potentially promoting the diversification of *** divergences and reductions in CYC2 gene expression are related to the gain and loss of zygomorphic *** phylogenomic work with greater taxon sampling through inclusion of genome-skimming datasets reveals the feasibility of expanded evolutionary analyses using DNA samples for understanding convergent evolution.
