Prognostic Value of NT-proBNP in Stable Coronary Artery Disease in Chinese Patients after Percutaneous Coronary Intervention in the Drug-eluting Stent Era

Objective The predictive value of N-terminal pro-brain natriuretic peptide(NT-proBNP) in patients with stable coronary artery disease(SCAD) in the drug-eluting stent era is not yet clear. We aimed to evaluate the prognostic value of NT-proBNP in SCAD patients after percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI). Methods We examined 4,293 consecutive SCAD patients who underwent PCI between January 2013 and December 2013 in Fuwai Hospital, China. The primary endpoint was all-cause death. NT-proBNP levels were measured before PCI using Elisa kits(Biomedica, Austria). The indication for PCI was based on the degree of coronary stenosis and evidence of ischemia. Results Among 3,187 SCAD patients with NT-proBNP data, after a 2-year follow-up, NT-proBNP levels were predictive for all-cause death in the SCAD population [area under the receiver operating characteristic curve, 0.768; 95% confidence interval(CI), 0.687-0.849; P < 0.001]. At the optimum cutoff point of 732 pg/mL, the sensitivity and specificity of death was 75.0% and 72.3%, respectively. In a multivariable Cox regression model, the death hazard ratio was 6.43(95% CI, 2.99-13.82; P < 0.001) for patients with NT-proBNP levels ≥ 732 pg/mL, compared with < 732 pg/mL. Conclusion NT-proBNP is a strong predictor of 2-year death with SCAD after PCI in the drug-eluting stent era.

Using Excel software,this paper analyzes the changes of water resources in recent 10 years in the area of Urumqi,and it discovers that water resources per capital in Urumqi is declining;the annual precipitation is ascending in its totality though there is fluctuation;the amount of water usage is rising evidently and there is an increase tendency in the apects of lacking water resources and imbalance between supply and *** main reasons that cause the above situation are the serious waste and low utilization of water resources;extensive use and over-development of water resources in some parts of Urumqi;unreasonable industrial distribution and lack of the comprehensive and unitied diministration of water *** with these problems,the paper tries to put some suggestions from the point view of regional sustainable development.

Ultrafast Dynamics of Defect-Assisted Carrier Capture in MoS2 Nanodots Investigated by Transient Absorption Spectroscopy

MoS2 nanodots are emerging as promising semiconductor materials for optoelectronic devices. However, most of the recent attention is focused on the fabrication of MoS2 nanodots,and the survey for exciton dynamics of MoS2 nanodots remains less explored. Herein, we use femtosecond transient absorption spectroscopy to investigate the carrier dynamics of MoS2 nanodots. Our results show that defect-assisted carrier recombination processes are well consistent with the observed dynamics. The photo-excited carriers are captured by defects with at least two different capture rates via Auger scattering. Four processes are deemed to take part in the carrier relaxation. After photoexcitation, carrier cooling occurs instantly within ～0.5 ps. Then most of carriers are fast captured by the defects, and the corresponding time constant increases from ～4.9 ps to ～9.2 ps with increasing pump fluence, which may be interpreted by saturation of the defect states. Next a small quantity of carriers is captured by the other kinds of defects with a relatively slow carrier capture time within ～65 ***, the remaining small fraction of carriers relaxes via direct interband electron-hole recombination within～1 ns. Our results may lead to deep insight into the fundamentals of carrier dynamics in MoS2 nanodots, paving the way for their further applications.

Microwave digestion and alkali fusion assisted hydrothermal synthesis of zeolite from coal fly ash for enhanced adsorption of Cd(Ⅱ) in aqueous solution

A novel microwave digestion and alkali fusion assisted hydrothermal method was proposed to synthesize zeolite from coal fly ash and the zeolite product was studied for removal of Cd(II)from aqueous solution through batch *** adsorbent was characterized by X-ray diffraction,scanning electron microscopy,Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy,surface area analyzer and zeta potential *** results show that the synthetic zeolite was identified as *** optimum conditions for removal of Cd(II)are found to be:adsorbent dose of0.5g/L,pH6,contact time of90min and initial concentration of20mg/L,the removal rate of Cd(II)is98.55%.The experimental kinetic data agree well with the pseudo second-order equation;the Langmuir isotherm model is found to be more suitable to explicate the experimental equilibrium isotherm results than Freundlich,Dubinin-Radushkevich and Temkin models,and the maximum adsorption capacity of Cd(II)is found to be86.96mg/*** thermodynamic parameters such asΔGΘ,ΔHΘandΔSΘwere evaluated and the results show that the adsorption of Cd(II)onto the as-synthesized zeolite is spontaneous,endothermic and feasible under studied conditions.

背景使用组织黏合剂对眼表损伤进行修复的临床疗效已得到证实，但是其对眼表环境的影响尚不清楚。目的评价α-氰基丙烯酸正丁酯治疗皮肤、结膜裂伤的安全性和有效性。方法20只健康新西兰兔按随机数字表法随机分成医用胶组和缝线组，先行常规眼部检查，检测泪液分泌量和泪膜破裂时间（BUT）。表面麻醉后全层剪开右眼上方球结膜，长1．0cm；局部麻醉后全层切开背部皮肤，长约2．5cm，医用胶组使用α-氰基丙烯酸正丁酯黏合结膜及皮肤切口，缝线组用5．0丝线连续缝合结膜及间断缝合皮肤切口，术后1、2、7d行常规检查并检测实验眼泪液分泌量及BUT，观察切口愈合情况。1周后处死动物，切取相应组织进行病理学检查。应用SPSS13．0统计学软件进行统计分析。结果医用胶组和缝线组结膜和皮肤切口均愈合良好。医用胶组术后1d、2d的泪液分泌量分别为（12．70±2．21）mm和（12．70±2．00）mm，明显低于缝线组的（14．90±2．38）mm和（14．90±2．33）mm，相同时间点2个组间比较差异均有统计学意义（q=-4．02，P=0．03；q=-4．02，P=0．03）；与基线值相比，医用胶组术后各时间点的泪液分泌量差异均无统计学意义（P=1．00、1．00、0．51）。医用胶组术后2d、7d的BUT值分别为（4．50±1．18）S和（4．10±0．88）S，均明显长于缝线组的（3．30±1．06）S和（3．00±1．25）S，差异均有统计学意义（q=4．37，P=0．02；q=4．19，P=0．03）；术后1、2、7d的BUT值与基线值相比差异均无统计学意义（P=0．28、0．59、0．21）。缝线组各时间点BUT值较基线值明显缩短，差异均有统计学意义（P：0．01、0．01、0．00）。角膜组织病理学检查发现，各组兔结膜及皮肤切口均愈合，缝线组结膜组织有轻度胶原增生，而医用胶组炎性细胞浸润更为明显；缝线组皮肤表皮瘢痕增生，存在严重的胶原纤维增生，而医用胶组胶原增生情况明显轻于缝线组，表皮及真皮等组织结构接近正常。结论α-氰基丙烯酸正丁酯用于新西兰兔结膜和皮肤伤VI的黏合对眼表的环境影响较小，有效性和安全性较好。

In confined mesoscopic spaces,the unraveling of a catalytic mechanism with complex mass transfer and adsorption processes such as reactant enrichment is a great *** this study,a hollow nanoarchitecture of MnOx-encapsulated Pt nanoparticles was designed as a nanoreactor to investigate the reactant enrichment in a mesoscopic hollow *** employing advanced characterization techniques,we found that the reactant-enrichment behavior is derived from directional diffusion of the reactant driven through the local concentration gradient and this increased the amount of *** experimental results with density functional theory calculations,the superior cinnamyl alcohol(COL)selectivity originates from the selective adsorption of cinnamaldehyde(CAL) and the rapid formation and desorption of COL in the *** superb performance of 95% CAL conversion and 95% COL selectivity is obtained at only 0.5 MPa H2and 40 *** findings showcase that a rationally designed nanoreactor co uld boost catalytic performance in chemoselective hydrogenation,which can be of great aid and potential in various application scenarios.

Fabrication of large UV transmission blazed gratings for slitless spectral sky survey

Slitless spectral sky survey is a critical direction of international astronomical *** with ground-based sky survey,space-based sky survey can achieve full-band observation,and its imaging quality and resolution capability are restricted by the efficiency and size of dispersive *** blazed gratings are often used as the dispersive elements in the UV *** interference lithography produces the photoresist mask of a grating,and the ion beam etching vertically transfers the pattern to the substrate to form the SiO_2 mask of a *** reduce the effect of ion beam divergence on the uniformity of the groove shape,the grating mask is etched tilted by the ion beam passing through a narrow slit to obtain a blazed grating with consistent structural ***,twodimensional scanning of the sample stage enables the etching of large-size samples.A UV transmission blazed grating with a linear density of 333 lines mm^(-1),a blazing angle of 11.8°,and a dimension of 99.2 mm×60.0 mm×6.0 mm was successfully fabricated with an average diffraction efficiency of 66%,a PV diffraction wavefront of 0.169λ(λ=632.8 nm)and low stray light.
