The latest study published in Nature by Andrew ***,Peter *** and co-authors is highlighted in this paper,they investigated a series of novel nematicidal compounds,including Selectivin-A and Selectivin-E,and explored their mechanism of *** have displayed that the Selectivin compound is inactive to human cells,ﬁsh,fungi,insects and even beneﬁcial *** the exploration of its mechanism of action,it was found that the mechanism of action of Selectivin is different with those of commercial nematocides:Selectivin needs to be activated by biotin produced by nematodes,after that they can be transformed into compounds with high nematicidal *** proves that the family of Selectivin compounds has the advantages of high selectivity and environmental friendliness,and their mechanism of action is completely new,proposing a completely new path for the development of new nematicides.

Electrochemical nitrogen reduction reaction(NRR)under ambient conditions is highly desirable to achieve sustainable ammonia(NH3)production via an alternative carbon free ***-atom catalysts(SACs)with super high atomic utilization and catalytic efficiency exhibit great potential for ***,a high-performance NRR SAC is facilely prepared via a simple deposition method to anchor Au single atoms onto porousβ-FeOOH *** resulting Au-SA/FeOOH can efficiently drive NRR under ambient conditions,and the NH3 yield reaches as high as 2,860μg·h^(-1)·mg_(Au)^(-1)at-0.4 V *** hydrogen electrode(RHE)with 14.2%faradaic efficiency,much superior to those of all the reported Au-based *** investigations demonstrate that the synergy of much enhanced N_(2)adsorption,directional electron export,and mass transfer ability in Au-SA/FeOOH greatly contributes to the superior NRR *** work highlights a new insight into the design of high efficient NRR electrocatalysts by combination of porous metal oxide matrix and highly active single-atom sites.

AIM: To investigate the clinical features, treatment and prognosis of primary ocular adnexal mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue lymphoma(POAML).METHODS: A retrospective analysis was performed on 64 patients with POAML who were admitted to the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University from January 2006 to December ***: With a median follow-up of 61 mo(range, 2-156 mo), estimated overall survival(OS) rate and progressionfree survival(PFS) rate at 10 y reached 94.5% and 61.5%, respectively. Median OS time and PFS time were not reached. During this period, only 3 patients died, but none of them died directly due to disease progression. One patient(1.6%) developed transformation to diffuse large B-cell lymphoma(DLBCL). Of the 56 patients achieved complete remission after first-line treatment, 5(8.9%) developed local and/or systemic relapse eventually. Patients ≥60 y had significantly shorter PFS than younger patients(P=0.01). For patients with early stages(Ann Arbor stage I and stage II), univariate analysis confirmed that radiotherapydose lower than 32 Gy were independently associated with shorter PFS(P=0.04). Other factors including gender, bone marrow involvement, the initial location of the disease, and the laterality were not associated with ***: The data from our center indicate that POAML has a slow clinical progression and has an excellent clinical outcome. Patients with POAML harbor a continual risk of relaps and transformation to aggressive subtype of lymphoma.

Benzoxaborole,a five-membered oxaborole ring fused with a phenyl ring,has demonstrated potent pharmacological *** order to explore their potential applications in agriculture,five-membered and six-membered benzoxaborole derivatives were synthesized and evaluated for their fungicidal activity against six common plant pathogenic fungi in *** bioassay results showed that most of the target compounds exhibited significant fungicidal activity at concentrations below 50μg/mL,particularly the highlighted compounds 4b and 4e,which demonstrated impressive fungicidal activity superior to those of the positive *** docking was also performed to confirm the practical value of the active compound as a potential inhibitor of Leucyl-tRNA Synthetase(LeuRS).This study indicates that the designed benzoxaborole derivatives could serve as template molecules for the development of novel fungicides.

Background: To report the clinical features of surgically induced scleral staphyloma and investigate the ***: Retrospective uncontrolled ***: A full ophthalmological evaluation of surgically induced scleral staphyloma in four patients was performed. The first patient was a 3-year-old young girl underwent corneal dermoid resection. The second patient was a 60-year-old man underwent nasal pterygium excision and conjunctival autograft without Mitomycin C(MMC). The other two were respectively a 74-year-old woman and a 69-year-old man underwent cataract surgery. All patients performed allogeneic sclera patch graft. In the at least half a year follow-up, the best corrected visual acuity(BCVA) of all the four patients were no worse than that of preoperative. Ocular symptoms disappeared, including eye pain, foreign body sensation, and so on. Unfortunately, the fourth patient showed sclera rejection and partial dissolution at postoperative 1 month. Conclusions: Surgically induced scleral staphyloma must be considered in the differential diagnosis of patients with staphyloma following corneal dermoid, pterygium, and cataract surgery. Allogeneic sclera patch graft is one of the methods for treating scleral staphyloma. However sclera rejection and dissolution should be considered postoperatively.

Background and Aims:Protein phosphatase 2A(PP2A)is associated with many *** study aimed to clarify whether PPP2CA,which encodes the alpha isoform of the catalytic subunit of PP2A,plays a role in hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)and to identify the potential underlying molecular ***:Based on bioinformatics,public databases and our in-house RNA-Seq database,we analyzed the clinical value and molecular mechanism of PPP2CA in ***:Data were analyzed from 2,545 patients with HCC and 1,993 controls without HCC indexed in The Cancer Genome Atlas database,the Gene Expression Omnibus database and our in-house RNA-Seq ***2CA expression was significantly higher in HCC tissue than in non-cancerous tissues(standardized mean difference:0.69,95%confidence interval[CI]:0.50–0.89).PPP2CA expression was able to differentiate HCC from non-HCC,with an area under the summary receiver operator characteristic curve of 0.79(95%CI:0.75–0.83).Immunohistochemistry of tissue sections confirmed that PPP2CA protein was up-regulated in HCC *** PPP2CA expression in HCC patients was associated with shorter overall,progression-free and disease-free *** molecular pathways through which PPP2CA may be involved in HCC were determined using miRWalk 2.0 as well as analysis of Gene Ontology categories,Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes pathways,and protein-protein interaction ***:PPP2CA is up-regulated in HCC and higher expression correlates with worse ***2CA shows potential as a diagnostic marker for *** studies should examine whether PPP2CA contributes to HCC through the candidate microRNAs,pathways and hub genes identified in this study.
