The discovery of efficient,selective,and stable electrocatalysts can be a key point to produce the largescale chemical fuels via electrochemical CO_(2) reduction(ECR).In this study,an earth-abundant and nontoxic ZnO-based electrocatalyst was developed for use in gas-diffusion electrodes(GDE),and the effect of nitrogen(N)doping on the ECR activity of ZnO electrocatalysts was ***,a ZnO nanosheet was prepared via the hydrothermal method,and nitridation was performed at different times to control the N-doping *** an increase in the N-doping content,the morphological properties of the nanosheet changed significantly,namely,the 2D nanosheets transformed into irregularly shaped ***,the ECR performance of Zn O electrocatalysts with different N-doping content was assessed in 1.0 M KHCO_(3) electrolyte using a gas-diffusion electrode-based ECR *** the ECR activity increased after a small amount of N doping,it decreased for higher N doping *** them,the N:ZnO-1 h electrocatalysts showed the best CO selectivity,with a faradaic efficiency(FE_(CO))of 92.7%at-0.73 v *** hydrogen electrode(RHE),which was greater than that of an undoped Zn O electrocatalyst(FE_(CO)of 63.4%at-0.78 v_(RHE)).Also,the N:ZnO-1 h electrocatalyst exhibited outstanding durability for 16 h,with a partial current density of-92.1 mA cm^(-2).This improvement of N:ZnO-1 h electrocatalyst can be explained by density functional theory calculations,demonstrating that this improvement of N:ZnO-1 h electrocatalyst comes from(ⅰ)the optimized active sites lowering the free energy barrier for the rate-determining step(RDS),and(ⅱ)the modification of electronic structure enhancing the electron transfer rate by N doping.

Wildfire events are increasing globally which may be partly associated with climate change,resulting in significant adverse impacts on local,regional air quality and global *** September 2020,a small wildfire(burned area:36.3 ha)event occurred in Souesmes(Loiret-Cher,Sologne,France),and its plume spread out over 200 km on the following day as observed by the MODIS *** on measurements at a suburban site(~50 km northwest of the fire location)in Orléans and backward trajectory analysis,young wildfire plumes were *** increases in gaseous pollutants(CO,CH_(4),N_(2)O,vOCs,etc.)and particles(including black carbon)were found within the wildfire plumes,leading to a reduced air *** factors,defined as EF(X)=ΔX/ΔCO(where,X represents the target species),of various trace gases and black carbon within the young wildfire plumes were determined accordingly and compared with previous *** in the ambient ions(such as ammonium,sulfate,nitrate,chloride,and nitrite in the particle-and gasphase)and aerosol properties(e.g.,aerosol water content,aerosol p H)were also quantified and ***,we estimated the total carbon and climate-related species(e.g.,CO_(2),CH_(4),N_(2)O,and BC)emissions and compared them with fire emission *** biomass burning emission inventories have uncertainties in estimating small fire burned areas and *** instance,we found that the Global Fire Assimilation System(GFAS)may underestimate emissions(e.g.,CO)of this small wildfire while other inventories(GFED and FINN)showed significant *** that it is the first time to record wildfire plumes in this region,related atmospheric implications are presented and discussed.

A good Ti-based joint implant should prevent stress shielding and achieve good bioactivity and anti-infection performance. To meet these requirements, the low-elastic-modulus alloy-Ti-35Nb-2Ta-3Zr-was used as the substrate, and functional coatings that contained bioceramics and Ag ions were prepared for coating on TiO2 nanotubes (diameter: (80 +/- 20) nm and (150 +/- 40) nm) using anodization, deposition, and spin-coating methods. The effects of the bioceramics (nano-beta-tricalcium phosphate, microhydroxyapatite (micro-ha), and meso-CaSiO3) and Ag nanoparticles (size: (50 +/- 20) nm) on the antibacterial activity and the tribocorrosion, corrosion, and early in vitro osteogenic behaviors of the nanotubes were investigated. The tribocorrosion and corrosion results showed that the wear rate and corrosive rate were highly dependent on the features of the nanotube surface. Micro-ha showed great wear resistance with a wear rate of (1.26 +/- 0.06)x10-3 mm3/(N center dot m) due to adhesive and abrasive wear. Meso-CaSiO3 showed enhanced cell adhesion, proliferation, and alkaline phosphatase activity. The coatings that contained nano-Ag exhibited good antibacterial activity with an antibacterial rate of >= 89.5% against Escherichia coli. These findings indicate that hybrid coatings may have the potential to accelerate osteogenesis. [GRAPHICS] .

A case of congenital obstruction of magendie's foramen:embryologic analysis and treatment

Background: Fourth ventricle isolated Magendie's foramen primitive obstruction is rare. The etiology and the pathophysiology of the constitution of this obstruction in congenital cases remain elusive. We report a case of congenital obstruction of Magendie's foramen in an adult patient and discuss the embryogenic mechanism and our management of this rare *** presentation: A 20 years old female patient without any medical history was referred for headaches and vomiting. Emergency CT scan revealed major hydrocephalus subsequently she underwent a ventriculoperitoneal shunt as initial *** diagnosis of fourth ventricle obstruction was made 5 months later when the patient came back complaining of headaches, cerebellar signs and cystic dilatation of the fourth ventricle on CT scan and MRI. Fourth ventricle Magendie's foraminoplasty via classic posterior fossa surgery brings complete ***: Magendie's foramen obstruction is rare. The embryological development of the posterior fossa and its content could explain the primitive obstruction which can be managed by classic surgery in case of unavaibility of endoscopy.

目的了解2018—2022年广东省5岁以下儿童意外死亡的主要死因及其流行病学分布情况,为制订进一步的预防措施和干预方法提供理论依据。方法以广东省2018—2022年死亡的5岁以下儿童为研究对象,将ICD10中S00-T98和v01-Y98系列疾病作为分类标准筛选出其中意外原因导致死亡的个案,计算相关的率、构成比等,分析儿童意外死亡原因及三间分布。结果 2018—2022年广东省总死亡率为2.94‰,死亡人数21 329人,其中意外死亡人数3 819人(0.53‰),男女性别比为1.29∶1,不同年龄组间意外伤害的性别构成差异有统计学意义(χ^(2)=16.38,P<0.01)。意外死亡原因前三位为意外窒息(1 590/3 819)、溺水(926/3 819)和交通意外(527/3 819)。各年龄段男童意外死亡率均高于女童,差异无统计学意义(χ^(2)=13.68,P=0.19),不同意外死因儿童的年龄组差异有统计学意义(χ^(2)=1 723.28,P<0.01),死前救治情况差异有统计学意义(χ^(2)=174.31,P<0.01)。结论广东省5岁以下儿童死亡的主要原因为意外窒息、溺水。应分年龄采取不同的预防措施提高儿童及家长的意外伤害识别防范意识,降低5岁以下儿童意外死亡率。

The polymeric gel electrolytes are attractive owing to their higher ionic conductivities than those of dry polymer electrolytes and lowered water activity for enlarged potential ***,the ionic conductivity and mechanical strength of the Na-ion conducting polymeric gel electrolytes are limited by below 20 mS cm−1 and 2.2 ***,we demonstrate Na-ion conducting and flexible polymeric hydrogel electrolytes of the chemically coupled poly(diallyldimethylammonium chloride)-dextrin-N,N′-methylene-bisacrylamide film immersed in NaClO_(4) solution(ex-Dda-Dex+NaClO_(4))for flexible sodium-ion hybrid capacitors(f-NIHC).In particular,the anion exchange reaction and synergistic interaction of ex-Dda-Dex with the optimum ClO_(4)−enable to greatly improve the ionic conductivity up to 27.63 mS cm−1 at 25◦C and electrochemical stability window up to 2.6 v,whereas the double networking structure leads to achieve both the mechanical strength(7.48 MPa)and softness of hydrogel ***,the f-NIHCs with the ex-Dda-Dex+NaClO_(4) achieved high specific and high-rate capacities of 192.04 F g^(−1)at 500 mA g^(−1)and 116.06 F g^(−1)at 10000 mA g^(−1),respectively,delivering a large energy density of 120.03Wh kg^(−1)at 906Wkg^(−1)and long cyclability of 70%over 500 cycles as well as demonstrating functional operation under mechanical stresses.

Energy hub modeling to minimize residential energy costs considering solar energy and BESS

This paper aims to optimize total energy costs in an operational model of a novel energy hub(EH) in a residential area. The optimization problem is set up based on daily load demand(such as electricity, heat, and cooling) and time-of-use(TOU) energy prices. The extended EH model considers the involvement of solar photovoltaic(Pv) generation, solar heat exchanger(SHE), and a battery energy storage system(BESS). A mathematical model is constructed with the objective of optimizing total energy cost during the day, including some constraints such as input-output energy balance of the EH, electricity price,capacity limitation of the system, and charge/discharge power of BESS. Four operational cases based on different EH structures are compared to assess the effect of solar energy applications and BESS on the operational efficiency. The results show that the proposed model predicts significant changes to the characteristics of electricity and gas power bought from utilities, leading to reduced total energy cost compared to other cases. They also indicate that the model is appropriate for the characteristics of residential loads.
