Based on different types of diseases,pests and weeds in the whole growth period of rhubarb(sowing period-harvesting period),the corresponding green prevention and control technology is proposed,aiming to further reduce the application amount of pesticides and fertilizers in the production of medicinal sources of Lixian rhubarb during the"14 th Five-Year Plan"period.The results will provide a theoretical basis for increasing the promotion and application of agricultural prevention and control(including disease-resistant varieties,ecological regulation),physical prevention and control,biological prevention and control measures,thus ensuring effective protection of the ecological environment,green,healthy and sustainable development of traditional Chinese medicine agriculture in Longnan,and source quality of authentic medicinal materials.

Dear Editor,This letter deals with the synchronization in drive-response networks with discrete and distributed delays on time scales.Based on the theory of calculus on time scales,Lyapunov functional method and inequality technique,we obtain new sufficient conditions to ensure synchronization criteria which are dependent on boundedness of grainness but independent of the types of delays.Numerical simulations are given to illustrate the effectiveness of our new results.

Arid areas with low precipitation and sparse vegetation typically yield compact urban pattern,and drought directly impacts urban site selection,growth processes,and future scenarios.Spatial simulation and projection based on cellular automata(CA)models is important to achieve sustainable urban development in arid areas.We developed a new CA model using bat algorithm(BA)named bat algorithm-probability-of-occurrence-cellular automata(BA-POO-CA)model by considering drought constraint to accurately delineate urban growth patterns and project future scenarios of Urumqi City and its surrounding areas,located in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region,China.We calibrated the BA-POO-CA model for the drought-prone study area with 2000 and 2010 data and validated the model with 2010 and 2020 data,and finally projected its urban scenarios in 2030.The results showed that BA-POO-CA model yielded overall accuracy of 97.70%and figure-of-merits(FOMs)of 35.50%in 2010,and 97.70%and 26.70%in 2020,respectively.The inclusion of drought intensity factor improved the performance of BA-POO-CA model in terms of FOMs,with increases of 5.50%in 2010 and 7.90%in 2020 than the model excluding drought intensity factor.This suggested that the urban growth of Urumqi City was affected by drought,and therefore taking drought intensity factor into account would contribute to simulation accuracy.The BA-POO-CA model including drought intensity factor was used to project two possible scenarios(i.e.,business-as-usual(BAU)scenario and ecological scenario)in 2030.In the BAU scenario,the urban growth dominated mainly in urban fringe areas,especially in the northern part of Toutunhe District,Xinshi District,and Midong District.Using exceptional and extreme drought areas as a spatial constraint,the urban growth was mainly concentrated in the"main urban areas-Changji-Hutubi"corridor urban pattern in the ecological scenario.The results of this research can help to adjust urban planning and development policies.Our model is readily applicable to simulating urban grow

Transport in water is the most common method for transporting live fish in China,however,transport is a strong stressor.Transport stress could lead to a reduced immune and antioxidant system function of tiger grouper,resulting in sickness and death.Besides,tiger grouper were continuously stressed during transport,which resulted in quality deterioration.It is necessary that find a way to relieve the stress of transportation of tiger grouper.Ascorbic acid is not only a good anti-stress agent,but it is also an effective immunostimulant.β-1,3-glucan is a feed additive that can enhance the immune response of fish.Therefore,this study evaluated the effects ofβ-1,3-glucan and ascorbic acid on the nutritional-immune response and antioxidant signaling pathways of live tiger grouper during simulated transport.Results indicated that addingβ-1,3-glucan and ascorbic acid in transport-water muted the increase of alanine aminotransferase(ALT)and aspartate aminotransferase(AST)activity.In addition,β-1,3-glucan and ascorbic acid activated Nrf2 and mediated TOR expression and then up-regulate related mRNA expression of antioxidant and immune enzymes.We concluded that the application ofβ-1,3-glucan and ascorbic acid inhibit the increase of metabolism enzymes and inflammatory factors and activate immune and antioxidant signaling pathways to relieve oxidant stress,immune response,and apoptosis.Reducing the loss of amino acids provided nutrients to relieve oxidative stress and immune response,which demonstrated immune-nutritional response in live tiger grouper during simulated transport.These results may provide a new solution for alleviating the decline of immune and antioxidant function of tiger grouper caused by transportation stress.

The adenosine monophosphate(AMP)-activated protein kinase(AMPK)sits at a cen-tral node in the regulation of energy metabolism and tumor progression.AMPK is best known to sense high cellular ADP or AMP levels,which indicate the depletion of energy stores.Previous studies have shown that the low expression of phosphorylated AMPK is associated with a poor prognosis of pancreatic cancer.In this study,we report that AMPK is also highly sensitive to extracellular matrix(ECM)stiffness.We found that AMPK is activated in cells when cultured under low ECM stiffness conditions and is functionally required for the metabolic switch induced by ECM stiffness.This regulation of AMPK requires the Hippo kinases but not LKB1/CaMKKp.Hippo kinases directly phosphorylate AMPKa at Thr172 to activate AMPK at low ECM stiffness.Furthermore,we found AMPK activity is inhibited in patients with pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma(PDAC)with high ECM stiffness and is associated with a poor survival outcome.The activation of Hippo kinases by ROCK inhibitor Y-27632 in combination with the mitochondrial inhibitor metformin synergistically activates AMPK and dramatically inhibits PDAC growth.Together,these findings establish a novel model for AMPK regulation by the mechanical properties of ECMs and provide a rationale for simultaneously targeting the ECM stiffness-Hippo kinases-AMPK signaling and low glucose-LKB1-AMPK signaling pathways as an effective therapeutic strategy against PDAC.

Joint Probability Analysis and Prediction of Sea Ice Conditions in Liaodong Bay

Sea ice conditions in Liaodong Bay of China are often described by sea ice grades,which classify annual sea ice conditions based on the annual maximum sea ice thickness(AM-SIT)and annual maximum floating ice extent(AM-FIE).The joint probability distribution of AM-SIT and AM-FIE was established on the basis of their data pairs from 1949/1950 to 2019/2020 in Liaodong Bay.The joint intensity index of the sea ice condition in the current year is calculated,and the joint classification criteria of the sea ice grades in past years are established on the basis of the joint intensity index series.A comparison of the joint criteria with the 1973 and 2022 criteria revealed that the joint criteria of the sea ice grade match well,and the joint intensity index can be used to quantify the sea ice condition over the years.A time series analysis of the sea ice grades and the joint intensity index sequences based on the joint criteria are then performed.Results show a decreasing trend of the sea ice condition from 1949/1950 to 2019/2020,a mutation in 1990/1991,and a period of approximately 91 years of the sea ice condition.In addition,the Gray-Markov model(GMM)is applied to predict the joint sea ice grade and the joint intensity index of the sea ice condition series in future years,and the error between the results and the actual sea ice condition in 2020/2021 is small.

光束在海洋介质中传输会极大地受到海洋湍流的影响。此外,涡旋光束轨道角动量的复用会极大地提高系统容量,因此研究涡旋光束在海洋湍流中的传输具有重要意义。在水平海洋湍流理论基础上,创新性地构建了斜程路径上海洋湍流相位屏模型,以相位结构函数为依据验证了海洋湍流相位屏的准确性,根据多相位屏法搭建准直高斯涡旋光束在海洋湍流中的上行传输链路模型。数值模拟并分析了不同天顶角、海洋湍流内外尺度及拓扑荷数等其他海洋湍流参数对准直高斯涡旋光束经海洋湍流上行传输的光强及相位分布、光束漂移、轴上闪烁指数和长曝光光斑半径的影响。结果表明:涡旋光束的拓扑荷数越小、天顶角越小,光束受到湍流的影响越大;在海洋湍流上行传输链路中,准直高斯涡旋光束的光束漂移、轴上闪烁指数及长曝光光斑半径随海洋湍流外尺度的增大而增大,且主要受传输距离的影响;理想情况下,取海洋湍流外尺度为无穷大,会高估湍流对光束的影响;由于涡旋光束的本身特性,拓扑荷数对光强及相位分布和长曝光光斑半径的影响也较为显著。

The biogenesis of autophagosomes provides the basis for macroautophagy to capture and degrade intracellular cargoes.Binding of the autophagy-related protein ATG8/LC3 to autophagic membranes is essential to autophagosome formation,which involves the specific and dynamic processing of ATG8/LC3 by cysteine protease ATG4.However,to date,the mechanism whereby ATG4 is recruited to the membranes,the interaction of ATG4 and ATG8/LC3 on the membranes,and its role in the growth of phagophore are not completely understood.Here,we used fluorescence recovery after photobleaching to monitor the turnover of GFP-tagged ATG4B and LC3B in living animal cells.The data show that ATG4B localizes to early autophagic membranes in an LC3B-dependent manner.During autophagy,ATG4B and LC3B undergo rapid cytosol/isolation membrane exchange but not at the cytosol/completed autophagosome.In addition,ATG4B activity controls the efficiency of autophagosome formation by impacting the membrane binding/dissociation of LC3B.These data suggest that ATG4 and LC3 play interdependent roles in the formation of autophagosomes.

由于研发投入形成创新产出存在时间滞后性,前任高管任期内研发投入产生的创新收益会被继任者获得,本文将其称为研发创新的“时间溢出效应”,致使前任高管在离任时具有削减研发投入的动机。不同于现有文献主要关注研发创新在产品竞争和生产网络中的“空间溢出效应”,本文基于经理人职业生涯理论和高阶梯队理论,将国有企业所有者缺位和高管任期有限性特征嵌入研发创新的“时间溢出效应”中,提出并验证国有企业高管临近离任时有动机削减研发投入,导致国有企业存在“研发投入的任期周期性规律”。研究发现:董事长离任时会出现“研发投入的任期周期性规律”,而总经理离任时未出现“研发投入的任期周期性规律”,上述结果经过一系列稳健性检验和内生性问题处理后依然成立。进一步分析发现,在高管临近退休年龄时“研发投入的任期周期性规律”更明显,而董事长与总经理任期交错、国有企业混合所有制改革均可抑制“研发投入的任期周期性规律”。本文从高管离任视角揭示研发创新“时间溢出效应”的内在机理,具有重要的学术价值和实践指导意义。
