Numerical study of the influence of the atmospheric pressure on the thermal environment in the passenger cabin

The cabin air pressure remains lower than the horizontal atmospheric pressure when the airplane is in *** pressure is one of the parameters that must be taken into consideration while studying the thermal environment of an airplane *** are still no reference values for aircraft cabins despite the fact that numerous studies on low pressure heat transfer have demonstrated the connection between convective heat transfer coefficient(CHTC)and air *** this paper,a correction method for CHTC under low pressure conditions was established by using the dummy heat dissipation in the low-pressure cabin *** this basis,a thermal environment simulation model was developed,then was applied to the simulation of a seven-row aircraft cabin containing 42 passengers,and the CHTC and heat loss of dummy surface in the cabin were ***,the results of PMV calculated by using heat dissipation and air parameters at sampling points were *** results show that the modified CHTC can accurately reflect the cabin thermal environment under low pressure conditions,and the correction of CHTC can be realized by adjusting the turbulent Prandtl number,which is nonlinear correlated with the *** simulation results of the thermal environment in the seven-row cabin show that the CHTC changes by about 42%before and after *** air pressure decreases during take-off,which reduces the average CHTC of the crew surface from 5.09 W/(m^(2)·K)to 4.56 W/(m^(2)·K),but the air temperature rises by about 0.2°C as a *** deviation of PMV results calculated by using simulated heat loss data and using air parameters of measuring points in space is up to 0.5,but the latter is representative for calculating the thermal comfort level of the whole cabin.

Inspired by the multi-layer architecture of mammal skins,interfacial robust,stretchable,and entirely healable gel-elastomer hybrids hold great potential in diverse fields including biomedical devices,wearable electrical devices,and soft ***,existing gel-elastomer hybrids have numerous limitations including low interfacial bonding toughness,complex and time-consuming preparation process,unhealable,and ***,we propose a simple and general chemical strategy through the interfacial dynamic bonding between gel and elastomer to simultaneously address the abovementioned *** covalent bonds readily and repeatably covalent bonding ionogel and elastomer(interfacial toughness:390 J m^(-2)),endowed the hybrids with entire self-healing features like skin and enabled discretionary assembly and ***,this strategy resolved the troublesome contradiction between interfacial stability and *** advantage of the aforementioned features,we readily constructed a multi-module,self-healing,self-powered,and realtime monitoring of personal status integrated elastic electronics,which could simply reconfigure the output signal of elastic electronics into an input signal of the devices-braille keyboard.

To avoid interference from unexpected background noises and obtain high fidelity voice signal,acoustic sensors with high sensitivity,flat frequency response,and high signal-to-noise ratio(SNR)are urgently needed for voice ***(GO)has received extensive attention due to its advantages of controllable thickness and high fracture ***,low mechanical sensitivity(SM)introduced by undesirable initial stress limits the performance of GO material in the field of voice *** alleviate the aforementioned issue,GO diaphragm with annular corrugations is *** means of the reusable copper mold machined by picosecond laser,the fabrication and transfer of corrugated GO diaphragm are realized,thus achieving a Fabry–Perot(F–P)acoustic *** from the structural advantage of the corrugated GO diaphragm,our F–P acoustic sensor exhibits high S_(M)(43.70 nm/Pa@1. kHz),flat frequency response(−3.2 to 3.7 dB within 300–3500 Hz),and high SNR(76.66 dB@1.kHz).In addition,further acoustic measurements also demonstrate other merits,including an excellent frequency detection resolution(0.01.Hz)and high time stability(output relative variation less than 6.7% for 90 min).Given the merits presented before,the fabricated F–P acoustic sensor with corrugated GO diaphragm can serve as a high-fidelity platform for acoustic detection and voice *** conjunction with the deep residual learning framework,high recognition accuracy of 98.4%is achieved by training and testing the data recorded by the fabricated F–P acoustic sensor.

Hemostatic hydrogels are widely applied for wound management of damaged tissues,traumatic wounds,and surgical *** hydrogels composed of bioactive components,including fibrin and thrombin,showed great promise in the clinic due to their good pro-coagulation *** the expanding knowledge of cascade reaction of blood coagulation and emerging bioactive substances,massive bioactive hydrogels consisting of peptides,hemocoagulase,polyphosphate(polyP),etc.,have been developed as effective hemostatic *** on the coagulation process and mechanism,we summarize the role of reported bioactive hydrogels in hemostasis in this *** conclude the key points in the coagulation process,including activation of coagulation factors,fibrinogen polymerization,etc.,then discuss how to design bioactive hydrogels to accelerate coagulation targeted to these ***,we conclude the progress and propose a perspective of bioactive hydrogels with a pro-coagulation effect for hemostasis.

The two-stage electrostatic precipitator is widely used to purify oil mist ***,there is limited research on the influences of relative humidity,particle deposition characteristics,and the generation of gaseous ***,this paper established a numerical model of the electrostatic oil mist purifier and applied it to a two-stage electrostatic *** the model was used to investigate the corona discharge characteristics under different relative humidity conditions in the charged zone,the particle deposition characteristics,the purification efficiency,the ozone concentration distribution,and the oil vapor concentration distribution in the collection *** results indicate that,with a constant temperature,the corona current decreases as relative humidity increase,and there is a quadratic relationship between relative humidity and *** variation in relative humidity has little impact on the purification *** maximum ozone concentration occurs near the electrode line,and its concentration is influenced by the discharge current and inlet airflow *** oil vapor concentration reaches its maximum value at the side plates,with a value of 1. ppb,while it reaches the minimum value at the collecting zone electrode plate,with a value of 2 *** temperature is the main factor affecting the volatilization of the oil film,with higher temperatures resulting in higher oil vapor.

Rationally designed multiporphyrinic architectures for boosting photodynamic therapy(PDT)have attracted significant attentions recently years due to their great potential for light-mediated generation of reactive oxygen ***,there is still a gap between the structure design and their PDT performance for biomedical *** tutorial review provides a historical overview on(i)the basic concept of PDT for deeply understanding the porphyrin-mediated PDT reactions,(ii)developing strategies for constructing porphyrinic architectures,like nanorings,boxes,metal-organic frameworks(MOFs),covalent-organic frameworks(COFs),vesicles,etc.,where we classified into the following three categories:multiporphyrin arrays,porphyrinic frameworks,and others porphyrin assemblies,(iii)the various application scenarios for clinical cancer therapy and antibacterial ***,the existing challenges and future perspectives on the innovation of porphyrinic architectures for clinical PDT applications are mentioned in the end ***,the porphyrinic nanomaterials with atomically precise architectures provide an ideal platform for investigating the relationship between structures and PDT outputs,design of personalized“all-in-one”theranostic agents,and the popularization and application in wider biomedical fields.

Polymeric materials have penetrated all aspects of society and play an irreplaceable ***,there is an inherent contradiction between their mechanical properties and processing ***,inspired by cement,a crucial construction material renowned for its excellent fabricating behavior and self-strengthening properties,we have developed dynamic crosslinked poly(oxime-urethane)(CPOU).The synthesized CPOU showed good self-healing ability and 3D printability owing to the dynamic dissociation and re-association of oxime-carbamate *** objects printed through the fused deposition modeling technique were able to be readily assembled into complex architectures through intrinsic ***,the self-strengthening of CPOU was successfully realized through multiple-step tandem *** dissociation of dynamic oxime-carbamate bonds produced–NCO groups,which reacted with the surrounding water to form polar urea bonds in the polymer network,leading to an increase in the tensile strength of CPOU from 1..95 to 1..37 *** work not only develops the polymers with combined self-healing,facile fabricating,and self-strengthening properties but also provides a new molecular strategy to modulate the properties of polymers,which could be potentially applied in diverse areas.

Early Ordovician-Middle Silurian Subduction-Closure of the Proto-Tethys Ocean:Evidence from the Qiaerlong Pluton at the Northwestern Margin of the West Kunlun Orogenic Belt,NW China

Early Paleozoic magmatism in the West Kunlun Orogenic Belt(WKOB)preserves important information about the tectonic evolution of the Proto-Tethys *** paper reports whole-rock compositions,zircon and apatite U-Pb dating,and zircon Hf isotopes for the Qiaerlong Pluton(QEL)at the northwestern margin of WKOB,with the aim of elucidating the petrogenesis of the pluton and shedding insights into the subduction-collision process of this oceanic *** QEL is mainly composed of Ordovician quartz monzodiorite(479±3 Ma),quartz monzonite(467–472 Ma),and syenogranite(463±4 Ma),and is intruded by Middle Silurian peraluminous granite(429±20 Ma)and diabase(421.4 Ma).Zirconε_(Hf)(t)values reveal that quartz monzodiorites(+2.1.to+9.9)and quartz monzonites(+0.6 to+6.8)were derived from a mixed source of juvenile crust and older lower crust,and syenogranites(−5.6 to+4.5)and peraluminous granites(−2.9 to+2.0)were generated from a mixed source of lower crust and upper crust;diabases had zirconε_(Hf)(t)values ranging from−0.3 to+4.1.and contained 463±5 Ma captured zircon and 1.48±39 Ma inherited zircon,indicating they originated from enriched lithospheric mantle and were contaminated by crustal *** Ordovician granitoids are enriched in LILEs and light rare-earth elements,and depleted in HFSEs with negative Nb,Ta,P,and Ti anomalies,suggesting that they formed in a subduction *** Silurian peraluminous granites have the characteristics of leucogranites with high SiO_(2)contents(74.92 wt.%–75.88 wt.%)and distinctly negative Eu anomalies(δEu=0.03–0.1.),indicating that they belong to highly fractionated granite and were formed in a post-collision extension *** analysis of these results with other Early Paleozoic magmas reveals that the Proto-Tethys ocean closed before the Middle Silurian and its southward subduction resulted in the formation of QEL.
