Plasma spray coating on interconnector toward promoted solid oxide fuel cells and solid oxide electrolysis cells

Interconnector is a critical component to construct solid oxide cells (SOCs) stack. Oxidation of metallic interconnectors and Cr poisoning caused by oxidation are important factors that lead to long-term performance degradation of SOCs. Coating on the interconnector surface is an important approach to inhibit the oxidation and Cr migration of the interconnector. Herein, (La0.75Sr0.2.)0.95MnO3–δ (LSM) and Mn1.5Co1.5O4 (MCO) are used to fabricate the coatings of interconnector. Two advanced thermal spray technology, atmospheric plasma spraying (APS) and low-pressure plasma spray (LPPS), are adopted for the coating preparation. The electrochemical performance, rising and cooling cycle stability, and Cr diffusion inhibition performance of the coatings are tested and evaluated. The result indicates that MCO can generate more uniform and denser coatings than LSM. In addition, MCO coatings prepared by LPPS shows the best electrochemical performance, rising and cooling cycle stability, and Cr diffusion inhibition. The initial area specific resistance (ASR) is 0.002. Ω·cm2.at 800 °C. After 4 cooling cycle tests, the ASR increases to 0.0032.Ω·cm2.but lower than other samples. Meanwhile, the relative intense of Cr at the interface of SUS430 with MCO coatings fabricated by LPPS is lower than that of MCO fabricated by APS after 4 rising and cooling cycle operations, showing more favorable Cr diffusion inhibition performance.

Multi-timescale optimization scheduling of interconnected data centers based on model predictive control

With the promotion of“dual carbon”strategy,data center(DC)access to high-penetration renewable energy sources(RESs)has become a trend in the ***,the uncertainty of RES poses challenges to the safe and stable operation of DCs and power *** this paper,a multi-timescale optimal scheduling model is established for interconnected data centers(IDCs)based on model predictive control(MPC),including day-ahead optimization,intraday rolling optimization,and intraday real-time *** day-ahead optimization stage aims at the lowest operating cost,the rolling optimization stage aims at the lowest intraday economic cost,and the real-time correction aims at the lowest power fluctuation,eliminating the impact of prediction errors through coordinated multi-timescale *** simulation results show that the economic loss is reduced by 19.6%,and the power fluctuation is decreased by 15.2.%.

Stimulating Start-up Investment Through Government-Sponsored Venture Capital:Theory and Chinese Evidence

Government-sponsored venture capital(GVC)has been used to support financially constrained start-ups as an important policy tool in ***,to motivate the social capital to invest in start-ups,GVC provides subsidies for them to bridge the funding gap in the early-stage venture capital ***,the effect and mechanism of GVC affecting social capital investment have not been clearly *** this paper,the authors not only develop a game model to analyze this issue in theory,but conduct an empirical study by analyzing the 14741 records matched by propensity score matching(PSM)of Chinese venture capital market data from 2.11 to *** proposed findings are as the ***,the subsidies offered by GVC will simultaneously increase the returns and risks of investments in start-ups of social capital with more volatile incentive effect of *** incentive effect of GVC is only effective when the returns resulting from the subsidies outweigh the risks they *** the context of the Chinese venture capital market,the incentive effect of GVC is ***,the incentive effect of GVC is more pronounced in high-tech industries,which can be attributed to the signaling effect facilitated by *** this context,the subsidy mainly helps social capital to bear the costs associated with screening potential ***,the incentive effect of GVC is more significant in underdeveloped venture capital markets,which can be explained by the“virtuous cycle”effect,in which GVC plays a pioneering role in establishing a more robust early-stage market trading *** examining these three points,this study contributes to a better understanding of how GVC can effectively guide social capital investment,especially in the Chinese landscape.

Diffractive neural networks with improved expressive power for gray-scale image classification

Deep neural networks have been widely applied to bearing fault diagnosis systems and achieved impressive success *** address the problem that the insufficient fault feature extraction ability of traditional fault diagnosis methods results in poor diagnosis effect under variable load and noise interference scenarios,a rolling bearing fault diagnosis model combining Multi-Scale Convolutional Neural Network(MSCNN)and Long Short-Term Memory(LSTM)fused with attention mechanism is *** adaptively extract the essential spatial feature information of various sizes,the model creates a multi-scale feature extraction module using the convolutional neural network(CNN)learning *** learning capacity of LSTM for time information sequence is then used to extract the vibration signal’s temporal feature *** parallel large and small convolutional kernels teach the system spatial local *** gathers temporal global features to thoroughly and painstakingly mine the vibration signal’s characteristics,thus enhancing model ***,bearing fault diagnosis is accomplished by using the SoftMax *** experiment outcomes demonstrate that the model can derive fault properties entirely from the initial vibration *** can retain good diagnostic accuracy under variable load and noise interference and has strong generalization compared to other fault diagnosis models.

Exploring the Effect of Plasticity on the Phase Imaging of TM-AFM Through Molecular Dynamics Simulations

In the tapping-mode atomic force microscope(TM-AFM),the probe tip continuously taps the sample surface,which may cause plastic deformation of the sample and result in energy *** energy dissipation of the probe is closely related to the scanned phase *** quantify the energy dissipation due to plastic indentations of the sample,this study utilized a combination of molecular dynamics(MD)simulations and experiments on single-crystal copper samples,including multiple nano-indentation *** energy dissipation of the probe due to the plastic deformation of the sample was calculated by integrating the hysteresis curve of the indentation depth versus the force applied to the *** simulation results are in good agreement with the experimental *** sets of results have demonstrated that the plastic energy dissipation decreases as the number of indentations increases,and eventually the energy of the probe tends to *** equilibrium energy dissipation is associated with other dissipation ***,it was observed that,after hundreds of taps,the dissipated energy of plastic deformation could be ignored,implying that the scanned image may not reflect the plasticity information of the sample after multiple taps of the probe on the sample surface for scanning.

Transfer film effects induced by 3D-printed polyether-ether-ketone with excellent tribological properties for joint prosthesis

Based on the building principle of additive manufacturing,printing orientation mainly determines the tribological properties of joint *** this study,we created a polyether-ether-ketone(PEEK)joint prosthesis using fused filament fabrication and investigated the effects of printing orientation on its tribological properties using a pin-on-plate tribometer in 2.% newborn calf *** ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylene transfer film is formed on the surface of PEEK due to the mechanical capture of wear debris by the 3D-printed groove morphology,which is significantly impacted by the printing orientation of *** the printing orientation was parallel to the sliding direction of friction,the number and size of the transfer film increased due to higher steady *** transfer film protected the matrix and reduced the friction coefficient and wear rate of friction pairs by 39.13%and 74.33%,***,our findings provide a novel perspective regarding the role of printing orientation in designing knee prostheses,facilitating its practical applications.
