Electrochemical performance of La_(1-x)Sr_xCuO_(3-δ)-Sm_(0.15)Ce_(0.85)O_(1.925) composite cathodes in IT-SOFCs

The cathode material La1-xSrxCuO3-δ(x=0.15, 0.2, 0.3, 0.4) was synthesized by a sol-gel method. X-ray diffraction reveals that a single phase of perovskite is formed. The investigation of the electrical properties suggests that La0.7Sr0.3CuO3-δ has the highest electrical conductivity. La0.7Sr0.3CuO3-δ powder was mixed with different amount SDC (Sm0.15Ce0.85O1.925) powder (5wt.%-30wt.%) as composite cathodes. Electrochemical properties of the composite cathodes were researched further. Investigation suggests that the addition of appropriate amount SDC to La0.7Sr0.3CuO3-δ can improve the electrochemical properties and obtain better cathodic performance. Using La0.7Sr0.3CuO3-δ-SDC composite materials as a cathode based on SDC electrolyte, higher current density and power density at intermediate temperatures can be obtained.

Based on symmetry analysis and lattice model calculations,we demonstrate that Dirac nodal line(DNL)can stably exist in two-dimensional(2D)nonmagnetic as well as antiferromagnetic *** focus on the situations where the DNLs are enforced by certain symmetries and the degeneracies on the DNLs are inevitable even if spin–orbit coupling is *** thorough analysis,we find that five space groups,namely 51,54,55,57 and 127,can enforce the DNLs in 2D nonmagnetic semimetals,and four type-III magnetic space groups(51.293,54.341,55.355,57.380)plus eight type-IV magnetic space groups(51.299,51.300,51.302,54.348,55.360,55.361,57.387 and 127.396)can enforce the DNLs in 2D antiferromagnetic *** breaking these symmetries,the different 2D topological phases can be ***,by the first-principles electronic structure calculations,we predict that monolayer YB4C4 is a good material platform for studying the exotic properties of 2D symmetry-enforced Dirac node-line semimetals.

The reduced density matrices （RDMs） of many-body quantum states form a convex set. The boundary of low dimensional projections of this convex set may exhibit nontrivial geometry such as ruled surfaces. In this paper, we study the physical origins of these ruled surfaces for bosonic systems. The emergence of ruled surfaces was recently proposed as signatures of symmetry- breaking phase. We show that, apart from being signatures of symmetry-brealdng, ruled surfaces can also be the consequence of gapless quantum systems by demonstrating an explicit example in terms of a two-mode Ising model. Our analysis was largely simplified by the quantum de Finetti＇s theorem--in the limit of large system size, these RDMs are the convex set of all the symmetric separable states. To distinguish ruled surfaces originated from gapless systems from those caused by symmetry- breaking, we propose to use the finite size scaling method for the corresponding geometry. This method is then applied to the two-mode XY model, successfully identifying a ruled surface as the consequence of gapless systems.

Removal of condensates from wet steam flow in the last stages of steam turbines significantly promotes stage efficiency and prevents erosion of rotors. In this paper, homogeneous spontaneous condensation in transonic steam flow in the 2-D rotor-tip section of a stage turbine is investigated. Calculated results agree with experimental data reasonably well. On the basis of the above work, a 2-D numerical simulation of wet steam flow in adjacent root sections of a complex steam turbine stage was carded out. Computational results were analyzed and provide insights into effective removal of humidity.

Purpose： To describe an indirect reduction technique during minimally invasive percutaneous plate osteosynthesis （MIPPO） of tibial shaft fractures with the use of a distraction support. Methods： Between March 2011 and October 2014, 52 patients with a mean age of 48 years （16-72 years） sustaining tibial shaft fractures were included. All the patients underwent MIPPO for the fractures using a distraction support prior to insertion of the plate. Fracture angular deformity was assessed by goniometer measurement on preoperative and postoperative images. Results： Preoperative radiographs revealed a mean of 7.6°（1.2°-28°） angulation in coronal plane and a mean of 6.8°（0.5°-19°） angulation in sagittal plane. Postoperative anteroposterior and lateral radio graphs showed a mean of 0.8°（0°-4.0°） and 0.6°00-3.6°） of varusvalgus and apex anterior/posterior angulation, respectively. No intraoperative or postoperative complications were noted. Conclusions： This study suggests that the distraction support during MIPPO of tibial shaft fractures is an effective and safe method with no associated complications.

The relaxing ori-ter balance of Mycoplasma genomes

Mycoplasma are wall-less bacteria with small genomes, which are thought to have resulted from massive genome reductive processes, during which the ori-ter balance may be disrupted. For technical difficulties, ori and ter have been located only in a few Mycoplasma strains. Using the Z curve method, we were able to locate turning points on the Mycoplasma genomes, with the minimum and maximum points co-locating with ori or ter in the reference genomes. Assuming Z curve correctly located ori and ter, we calculated the distances from ori to ter in both directions on the circular genome and calculated the ori-ter balance status. The Mycoplasma genomes were not balanced, possibly as a result of close association of Mycoplasma with hosts, where there would be no other microbes for Mycoplasma to compete with for nutrients, so fastest possible growth related to balanced genomes might not be needed by Mycoplasma, leading to a relaxing ori-ter balance.

Topological materials have attracted extensive attention in condensed matter physics because of their exotic physical properties and promising potential *** the bulk gap of an insulator closes at certain nodal points or lines in the Brillouin zone(BZ),the resultant gapless phase is known as the topological semimetal(TSM)[1].Dirac nodal line semimetals(DNLSMs)[2,3]have been sought as novel quantum materials presenting quantum anomalies[4,5].The DNLSMs against spin-orbit coupling(SOC)were discovered in several three-dimensional(3D)bulk materials[6–8].Flourishing two-dimensional(2D)van der Waals(vdW)materials are,in comparison with their 3D counterparts,easier to experimentally measure and ***,2D materials have one less dimension of translation symmetry operation,and the corresponding symmetry operations and groups are significantly reduced,narrowing the range of candidate structures.

Current treatments for epilepsy can only manage the symptoms of the condition but cannot alter the initial onset or halt the progression of the disease. Consequently, it is crucial to identify drugs that can target novel cellular and molecular mechanisms and mechanisms of action. Increasing evidence suggests that axon guidance molecules play a role in the structural and functional modifications of neural networks and that the dysregulation of these molecules is associated with epilepsy susceptibility. In this review, we discuss the essential role of axon guidance molecules in neuronal activity in patients with epilepsy as well as the impact of these molecules on synaptic plasticity and brain tissue remodeling. Furthermore, we examine the relationship between axon guidance molecules and neuroinflammation, as well as the structural changes in specific brain regions that contribute to the development of epilepsy. Ample evidence indicates that axon guidance molecules, including semaphorins and ephrins, play a fundamental role in guiding axon growth and the establishment of synaptic connections. Deviations in their expression or function can disrupt neuronal connections, ultimately leading to epileptic seizures. The remodeling of neural networks is a significant characteristic of epilepsy, with axon guidance molecules playing a role in the dynamic reorganization of neural circuits. This, in turn, affects synapse formation and elimination. Dysregulation of these molecules can upset the delicate balance between excitation and inhibition within a neural network, thereby increasing the risk of overexcitation and the development of epilepsy. Inflammatory signals can regulate the expression and function of axon guidance molecules, thus influencing axonal growth, axon orientation, and synaptic plasticity. The dysregulation of neuroinflammation can intensify neuronal dysfunction and contribute to the occurrence of epilepsy. This review delves into the mechanisms associated with
