The broad implication of the paper is to elucidate the significance of the dynamic heaving motion in the aerodynamic performance of multi-element wings,currently considered as a promising aspect for the improvement of the aerodynamic correlation between CFD,wind tunnel and track testing in race car *** relationship between the varying aerodynamic forces,the vortex shedding,and the unsteady pressure field of a heaving double-element wing is investigated for a range of mean ride heights,frequencies,and amplitudes,using a two-dimensional(2D)unsteady Reynolds-averaged Navier-Stokes(URANS)approach and an overset mesh method for modelling the moving *** analysis of the results shows that at high frequencies,i.e.,k≥5.94 and amplitudes a/c≥0.05 the interaction of the shear vorticity between the two elements results in the generation of cohering leading and trailing edge vortices on the flap,associated to the rapid variation of thrust and downforce *** the occurrence and intensity of these vortices are dependent upon the frequency,amplitude,and mean ride height of the heaving *** addition of the flap significantly alters the frequency of the shed vortices in the wake and maintains the generation of downforce for longer time in ground *** comparison with the static wing provides evidence that the dynamic motion of a race car wing can be beneficial in terms of performance,or detrimental in terms of aerodynamic correlation.

A roasting-leaching test was carried out for the efficient utilization of clay-type lithium ore in the central region of Yunnan *** test used the mixed acid of sulfuric acid and phosphoric acid as the leaching *** the conditions of roasting temperature of 600℃,roasting time of 1 h,liquid-solid ratio of 5:1,volume ratio of H_(2)SO_(4)solution to H_(3)PO_(4)solution of 45:5,leaching time of 2 h and leaching temperature of 80℃,the leaching rate of lithium was as high as 97.83%.The leaching mechanism was studied by SEM,pore property analysis,XRD and *** was found that the morphology of the ore changed obviously after roasting and leaching,and a certain degree of collapse and fragmentation occurred,which provided favorable spatial conditions for the leaching of *** porosity,total intrusion volume and total pore area also increased after roasting and leaching,thus promoting the leaching of Li^(+).The results showed that chemical reaction taken placed during the roasting and *** phase of the sample changed from chlorite,kaolinite and diaspore(boehmite)mainly to corundum,hematite,periclase and quartz after ***,after leaching,no new phase was produced in the ore sample,and no S and P elements were found on the surface of the ore sample,indicating that the leaching mechanism of lithium might be the ion exchange between H^(+)and Li^(+).

Recent studies on tropical cyclone(TC)intensity change indicate that the development of a vertically aligned TC circulation is a key feature of its rapid intensification(RI),however,understanding how vortex alignment occurs remains a challenging topic in TC intensity change *** on the simulation outputs of North Atlantic Hurricane Wilma(2005)and western North Pacific Typhoon Rammasun(2014),vortex track oscillations at different vertical levels and their associated role in vortex alignment are examined to improve our understanding of the vortex alignment during RI of TCs with initial hurricane *** is found that vortex tracks at different vertical levels oscillate consistently in speed and direction during the RI of the two simulated *** the consistent track oscillation reduces the oscillation tilt during RI,the reduction of vortex tilt results mainly from the mean track before *** is also found that the vortex tilt is primarily due to the mean vortex track before and after *** track oscillations are closely associated with wavenumber-1 vortex Rossby waves that are dominant wavenumber-1 circulations in the TC inner-core *** study suggests that the dynamics of the wavenumber-1 vortex Rossby waves play an important role in the regulation of the physical processes associated with the track oscillation and vertical alignment of TCs.

The trajectory tracking control performance of nonholonomic wheeled mobile robots(NWMRs)is subject to nonholonomic constraints,system uncertainties,and external *** paper proposes a barrier function-based adaptive sliding mode control(BFASMC)method to provide high-precision,fast-response performance and robustness for *** with the conventional adaptive sliding mode control,the proposed control strategy can guarantee that the sliding mode variables converge to a predefined neighborhood of origin with a predefined reaching time independent of the prior knowledge of the uncertainties and disturbances *** advantage of the proposed algorithm is that the control gains can be adaptively adjusted to follow the disturbances amplitudes thanks to the barrier *** benefit is that the overestimation of control gain can be eliminated,resulting in chattering ***,a modified barrier function-like control gain is employed to prevent the input saturation problem due to the physical limit of the *** stability analysis and comparative experiments demonstrate that the proposed BFASMC can ensure the prespecified convergence performance of the NWMR system output variables and strong robustness against uncertainties/disturbances.

Effective density(ρ_(eff))is one of the most important physical properties of atmospheric particles,providing important references in exploring the emissions and aging processes of fresh *** this study,a combined system of differential mobility analyzer,centrifugal particle mass analyzer,and condensation particle counter was used to periodically measure theρ_(eff)of atmospheric particles in Shenzhen from Oct.2021 to *** showed that theρ_(eff)of particles with various size presented a bimodal distribution,which could be divided into main density(ρ_(m),main peak,corresponding to relatively dense particles after aging)and sub density(ρ_(s),sub peak,corresponding to fresh particles).The occurrence frequencies ofρ_(s)of particles with diameters of 50 and 80 nm were less than 20%,but were as high as about 40%of that with diameters from 120 to 350 ***ρ_(m)showed increasing trend with the size of particles,whileρ_(s)decreased as the increasing of the size of ***ρ_(eff)on pollution day varied significantly with chemical *** increasing of the proportion of sulfate could promote the increasing ofρ_(eff),while black carbon and organic matter caused opposite effects,which may be related to various factors,including the difference of the material density and morphology of various chemical ***ρ_(eff)of 50,80 and 120 nm particles decreased considerably during the new particle formation event,indicating that organic condensation was an important contributor to new particle growth.

This paper proposes a novel fixed-time sliding mode control approach for trajectory-tracking tasks of a mecanum-wheeled omnidirectional mobile robot. First, the idea of two-phase attractors is introduced into the domain of sliding mode control, and a new fixed-time sliding surface is proposed. Then, according to this sliding surface, a new type of nonsingular fast terminal sliding mode control algorithm is designed for the omnidirectional mobile robot, which can realize a fast fixed-time convergence property. The stability of the control system is proven scrupulously, and a guideline for control-parameter tuning is expounded. Finally, experiments are implemented to test the trajectory-tracking performance of the robot. Experimental results demonstrate the superiority of the proposed sliding surface and the corresponding control scheme in comparison with benchmark controllers.

Solving non-Hermitian quantum many-body systems on a quantum computer by minimizing the variational energy is challenging as the energy can be ***,we propose a variational quantum algorithm for solving the non-Hermitian Hamiltonian by minimizing a type of energy variance,where zero variance can naturally determine the eigenvalues and the associated left and right ***,the energy is set as a parameter in the cost function and can be tuned to scan the whole spectrum efficiently by using a two-step optimization *** numerical simulations,we demonstrate the algorithm for preparing the left and right eigenstates,verifying the biorthogonal relations,as well as evaluating the *** also investigate the impact of quantum noise on our algorithm and show that its performance can be largely improved using error mitigation ***,our work suggests an avenue for solving non-Hermitian quantum many-body systems with variational quantum algorithms on near-term noisy quantum computers.

Since electromagnetic pollution is detrimental to human health and the environment, numerous efforts have been successively made to achieve excellent electromagnetic interference shielding effectiveness(EMI SE) via designing the hierarchical structures for electromagnetic interference(EMI) shielding polymer composites. Among the plentiful structures, the asymmetric structures are currently a hot spot, principally categorizing into multi-layered, porous, fibrous, and segregated asymmetric structures, which endows the high EMI shielding performance for polymer composites incorporated with magnetic, conductive, and/or dielectric micro/nano-fillers, due to the “absorption-reflection-reabsorption” shielding mechanism. Therefore, this review provides the retrospection and summary of the efforts with respect to abundant asymmetric structures and multifunctional micro/nano-fillers for enhancing EMI shielding properties, which is conducive to the booming development of polymeric EMI shielding materials for the promising prospect in modern electronics and 5-generation(5G) technology.
