The distribution of the immune system throughout the body complicates in vitro assessments of coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)immunobiology,often resulting in a lack of reproducibility when extrapolated to the whole ***,developing animal models is imperative for a comprehensive understanding of the pathology and immunology of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2)*** review summarizes current progress related to COVID-19 animal models,including non-human primates(NHPs),mice,and hamsters,with a focus on their roles in exploring the mechanisms of immunopathology,immune protection,and long-term effects of SARS-CoV-2 infection,as well as their application in immunoprevention and immunotherapy of SARS-CoV-2 *** among these animal models and their specific applications are also highlighted,as no single model can fully encapsulate all aspects of *** effectively address the challenges posed by COVID-19,it is essential to select appropriate animal models that can accurately replicate both fatal and non-fatal infections with varying courses and *** animal model libraries and associated research tools is key to resolving the global COVID-19 pandemic,serving as a robust resource for future emerging infectious diseases.

The setting work of backup protection using steady-state current is tedious,and mismatches occasionally occur due to the increased proportion of distributed generations(DGs)connected to the power ***,there is a practical need to study a backup protection technology that does not require step-by-step setting and can be adaptively *** paper proposes an action sequence adaptive to fault positions that uses only positive sequence fault component(PSFC)*** the influence of DGs,the unified time dial setting can be obtained by selecting specific *** protection performance is improved by using the adjacent upstream and downstream protections to meet the coordination time interval in the case of metallic faults at the near-and far-ends of the ***,the expression and implementation scheme for inverse-time backup protection(ITBP)based on the unified characteristic equation is *** results show that this scheme can adapt to DG penetration scenarios and can realize the adaptive coordination of multi-level relays.

HCRVD: A Vulnerability detection System Based on CST-PDG Hierarchical Code Representation Learning

Prior studies have demonstrated that deep learning-based approaches can enhance the performance of source code vulnerability detection by training neural networks to learn vulnerability patterns in code ***,due to limitations in code representation and neural network design,the validity and practicality of the model still need to be ***,due to differences in programming languages,most methods lack cross-language detection *** address these issues,in this paper,we analyze the shortcomings of previous code representations and neural *** propose a novel hierarchical code representation that combines Concrete Syntax Trees(CST)with Program dependence Graphs(PDG).Furthermore,we introduce a Tree-Graph-Gated-Attention(TGGA)network based on gated recurrent units and attention mechanisms to build a Hierarchical Code Representation learning-based Vulnerability detection(HCRVD)*** system enables cross-language vulnerability detection at the *** experiments show that HCRVD surpasses many competitors in vulnerability detection *** benefits from the hierarchical code representation learning method,and outperforms baseline in cross-language vulnerability detection by 9.772%and 11.819%in the C/C++and Java datasets,***,HCRVD has certain ability to detect vulnerabilities in unknown programming languages and is useful in real open-source *** shows good validity,generality and practicality.

It is common to observe the epidemic risk perception(ERP)and a decline in subjective well-being(SWB)in the context of public health events,such as Corona Virus Disease 2019(COVID-19).However,there have been few studies exploring the impact of individuals’ERP within living space on their SWB,especially from a geographical and daily activity perspective after the resumption of work and other activities following a wave of the *** this paper,we conducted a study with 789 participants in urban China,measuring their ERP within living space and examining its influence on their SWB using path *** results indicated that individuals’ERP within their living space had a significant negative effect on their *** density of certain types of facilities within their living space,such as bus stops,subway stations,restaurants,fast food shops,convenience shops,hospitals,and public toilets,had a significantly negative impact on their SWB,mediated by their ERP within living ***,participation in out-of-home work and other activities not only increased individuals’ERP within living space,but also strengthened its negative effect on their SWB.

Structured illumination microscopy(SIM)is a popular and powerful super-resolution(SR)technique in biomedical ***,the conventional reconstruction algorithm for SIM heavily relies on the accurate prior knowledge of illumination patterns and signal-to-noise ratio(SNR)of raw *** obtain high-quality SR images,several raw images need to be captured under high fluorescence level,which further restricts SIM’s temporal resolution and its *** learning(DL)is a data-driven technology that has been used to expand the limits of optical *** this study,we propose a deep neural network based on multi-level wavelet and attention mechanism(MWAM)for *** results show that the MWAM network can extract high-frequency information contained in SIM raw images and accurately integrate it into the output image,resulting in superior SR images compared to those generated using wide-field images as input *** also demonstrate that the number of SIM raw images can be reduced to three,with one image in each illumination orientation,to achieve the optimal tradeoff between temporal and spatial ***,our MWAM network exhibits superior reconstruction ability on low-SNR images compared to conventional SIM *** have also analyzed the adaptability of this network on other biological samples and successfully applied the pretrained model to other SIM systems.

Hyperpolarized(HP)^(13)C magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)is a powerful molecular imaging *** dissolution dynamic nuclear polarization(d-DNP),it can achieve dramatic signal increase and allows for dynamic and quantitative investigation of real-time metabolism in vivo.[1]The typical HP^(13)C MRI workflow begins with formulating the^(13)C probe,and then placing it in the hyperpolarization equipment to achieve the desired signal amplification level,which typically amounts to an increase in the MRI signal by more than 10,000 *** subsequent data acquisition is supported by a specialized^(13)C coil and^(13)C acquisition sequence,and finally quantitative and visualized metabolic information is obtained through a post-processing *** date,research of HP^(13)C MRI has focused on diabetes,cardiovascular diseases,and cancers,[2]showing great promises in tumor detection and the evaluation of therapeutic efficacy.

To meet the communication services with diverse requirements,dynamic resource allocation has shown increasing *** this paper,we consider the multi-slot and multi-user resource allocation(MSMU-RA)in a downlink cellular scenario with the aim of maximizing system spectral efficiency while guaranteeing user *** first model the MSMURA problem as a dual-sequence decision-making process,and then solve it by a novel Transformerbased deep reinforcement learning(TDRL)***,the proposed TDRL approach can be achieved based on two aspects:1)To adapt to the dynamic wireless environment,the proximal policy optimization(PPO)algorithm is used to optimize the multi-slot RA strategy.2)To avoid co-channel interference,the Transformer-based PPO algorithm is presented to obtain the optimal multi-user RA scheme by exploring the mapping between user sequence and resource *** results show that:i)the proposed approach outperforms both the traditional and DRL methods in spectral efficiency and user fairness,ii)the proposed algorithm is superior to DRL approaches in terms of convergence speed and generalization performance.

The air infiltration rate of buildings strongly influences indoor environment and energy *** this study,several traditional methods for determining the air infiltration rate were compared,and their accuracy in different scenarios was ***,a method combining computational flow dynamics(CFD)with the Swami and Chandra(S-C)model was developed to predict the influence of the surrounding environment on the air infiltration *** buildings in Dalian,China,were selected:one with a simple surrounding environment and the other with a complex surrounding environment;their air infiltration rates were *** test results were used to validate the accuracy of the air infiltration rate solution models in different urban *** the building with a simple environment,the difference between the simulation and experimental results was 0.86%–22.52%.For the building with a complex environment,this difference ranged from 17.42%to 159.28%.We found that most traditional models provide accurate results for buildings with simple surrounding and that the simulation results widely vary for buildings with complex *** results of the method of combining CFD with the S-C model were more accurate,and the relative error between the simulation and test results was 10.61%.The results indicate that the environment around the building should be fully considered when calculating the air infiltration *** results of this study can guide the application of methods of determining air infiltration rate.

The influence of inter-band rock on rib spalling in longwall panel with large mining height

In order to improve rib stability,failure criteria and instability mode of a thick coal seam with inter-band rock layer are analysed in this study.A three-dimensional mechanical model is established for the rib by considering the rock layer.A safety factor is defined foy the rib,and it is observed that the safety factor exhibits a positive correlation with the thickness and strength of the inter-band rock.A calculation method for determining critical parameters of the rock layer is presented to ensure the rib *** is revealed that incomplete propagation of the fracture at the hard rock constitutes a fundamental prerequisite for ensuring the rib *** influence of the position of the inter-band rock in the coal seam on failure mechanism of the rib was thoroughly investigated by developing a series of physical models for the rib at the face *** best position for the inter-band rock in the coal seam is at a height of 1.5 m away from the roof line,which tends to provide a good stability state for the *** different inter-band rock positions,two ways of controlling rib by increasing supports stiffness and flexible grouting reinforcement are proposed.
