We report on the performance improvement of long-wave infrared quantum cascade lasers（LWIR QCLs）by studying and optimizing the anti-reflection（AR）optical facet coating. Compared to the Al2O3 AR coating，the Y2O3 AR coating exhibits higher catastrophic optical mirror damage（COMD）level，and the optical facet coatings of both material systems have no beam steering effect. A 3-mm-long，9. 5-μm-wide buried-heterostructure（BH）LWIR QCL of λ ~ 8. 5 μm with Y2O3 metallic high-reflection（HR）and AR of ~ 0. 2% reflectivity coating demonstrates a maximum pulsed peak power of 2. 19 W at 298 K，which is 149% higher than that of the uncoated device. For continuous-wave（CW）operation，by optimizing the reflectivity of the Y2O3 AR coating，the maximum output power reaches 0. 73 W，which is 91% higher than that of the uncoated device. © 2024 Chinese Optical Society. We combine Cartesian coordinates and polar coordinates wave number eigenvalue equations based on the planewave expansion(PWE)method to calculate and optimize the band structures of the two-dimensional(2D)metal photonic crystals(PhCs).Compared with the traditional PWE methods for metal PhCs,the band structures can be calculated directly in our method and no further procedures are needed to handle the folded band *** this method,we optimize the large gap-midgap ratio of the 2D square lattice of square metal rods and circular metal *** TM gap-midgap ratio of the 2D square lattice of square metal rods reaches 7.6246%with the side length L=0.71a with a being the lattice *** TM gap-midgap ratio of the 2D square lattice of circular metal rods reaches 16.3934%with radius R=*** method can be easily used in both square lattice and triangular lattice directly.

文章通过对比单梁模型及梁格模型,分析两种模型下计算结果的差异;通过对比不同跨径箱梁的计算,分析不同宽跨比对活载效应放大系数的影响;通过计算5车道荷载布载及两车道荷载布载,分析两种横向布载方式对活载效应放大系数的影响。研究表明,箱梁的活载效应放大系数与其宽跨比相关,宽跨比越大,相应的活载效应放大系数也越大。当桥梁宽跨比较大时,活载效应放大系数可能超过1.15。传统的简化计算方法并不准确且可能出现两车道荷载效应比5车道大的情况。

Background: Increasing evidence indicates that Six2 contributes to tumorigenesis in various tumor in- cluding hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). This study aimed to determine the role of Six2 in HCC and to elucidate the association of Six2 with clinical pathological characteristics. Methods: The expressions of Six2 in HCC tumor, para-tumor tissue and portal vein tumor thrombus (PVTT) were detected by tissue microarray technique, immunohistochemistry, real-time RT-PCR and West- ern blotting. Chi-square and Kaplan-Meier analysis were used to analyze the correlation between Six2 expression and prognosis of HCC patients. Lentivirus mediated Six2 knockdown, spheroid formation as- say, proliferation assay and subcutaneous tumor implantation were performed to determine the function of Six2. Results: In 274 HCC samples, Six2 was strongly expressed. Kaplan-Meier analysis revealed that high ex- pression of Six2 was correlated with a shorter overall survival (OS) and disease-free survival (DFS). More- over, Six2 expression was associated with sex, alpha-fetoprotein, tumor size and portal vein invasion. Six2 was highly expressed in PVTT. Six2 knockdown inhibited HCC cell lines proliferation, migration, and self-renewal in vitro and in vivo. In addition, low-expression of Six2 weakened TGF-β induced Smad4 activation and epithelial-mesenchymal transition in HCC cell lines. Conclusions: Elevated Six2 expression in HCC tumor patients was associated with negative prognosis. Upregulated Six2 promoted tumor growth and facilitated HCC metastasis via TGF-β/Smad signal pathway.

The one-bit compressed sensing problem is of fundamental importance in many areas,such as wireless communication,statistics,and so ***,the optimization of one-bit problem coustrained on the unit sphere lacks an algorithm with rigorous mathematical proof of convergence and *** this paper,an iteration algorithm is established based on difference-of-convex algorithm for the one-bit compressed sensing problem constrained on the unit sphere,with iterating formula■,where C is the convex cone generated by the one-bit measurements andη_(1)>η_(2)>1/*** new algorithm is proved to converge as long as the initial point is on the unit sphere and accords with the measurements,and the convergence to the global minimum point of the l_(1)norm is discussed.

Exploring wide voltage window materials is not only an available measure to enhance the energy density of hybrid supercapacitor(HSCs),but also avoids the dynamic mismatch caused by different energy storage mechanisms of two electrodes in assembled symmetrical ***,there are few reports about the wide potential window materials except Bi_(2)O_(3)and VO_(2).Therefore,the MnF_(2)synthesized by solvothermal reaction was served as the electrode for *** MnF_(2)exhibited electrochemical activity in alkaline solution in three-electrode system,especially with a wide potential window from-0.8 to+0.5 V in 2 mol·L^(-1)***,the assembled MnF_(2)//MnF_(2)symmetrical HSC had a potential window of 1.5 V,and it exhibited outstanding long-cycle ***,when MnF_(2)was taken as the negative and positive respectively,the potential windows of asymmetric devices CoMoO_(4)//MnF_(2)and MnF_(2)//Activated Carbon(AC)could reach 1.3 and 1.45 V,respectively,showing excellent cycle *** work shows that MnF_(2)material has great research value in HSC,and provides a new research direction for developing high-performance devices.

BACKGROUND Acute pancreatitis(AP)encompasses a spectrum of pancreatic inflammatory conditions,ranging from mild inflammation to severe pancreatic necrosis and multisystem organ *** the challenges associated with obtaining human pancreatic samples,research on AP predominantly relies on animal *** this study,we aimed to elucidate the fundamental molecular mechanisms underlying AP using various AP *** To investigate the shared molecular changes underlying the development of AP across varying severity *** AP was induced in animal models through treatment with caerulein alone or in combination with lipopolysaccharide(LPS).Additionally,using Ptf1αto drive the specific expression of the hM3 promoter in pancreatic acinar cells transgenic C57BL/6J-hM3/Ptf1α(cre)mice were administered Clozapine N-oxide to induce ***,we conducted RNA sequencing of pancreatic tissues and validated the expression of significantly different genes using the Gene Expression Omnibus(GEO)*** Caerulein-induced AP showed severe inflammation and edema,which were exacerbated when combined with LPS and accompanied by partial pancreatic tissue *** with the control group,RNA sequencing analysis revealed 880 significantly differentially expressed genes in the caerulein model and 885 in the caerulein combined with the LPS *** Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes enrichment analysis and Gene Set Enrichment Analysis indicated substantial enrichment of the TLR and NOD-like receptor signaling pathway,TLR signaling pathway,and NF-κB signaling pathway,alongside elevated levels of apoptosis-related pathways,such as apoptosis,P53 pathway,and phagosome *** significantly elevated genes in the TLR and NOD-like receptor signaling pathways,as well as in the apoptosis pathway,were validated through quantitative real-time PCR experiments in animal *** from the GEO database revealed that only MYD88 concurred in both mouse panc

The variation characteristics of bubble morphology and the thermal-physical properties of bubble boundary in the top-blown smelting furnace were explored by means of the computational fluid dynamics *** essential aspects of the fluid phase(e.g.,splashing volume,dead zone of copper slag,and gas penetration depth)were explored together with the effect of sinusoidal pulsating gas intake on the momentum-transfer performance between *** results illustrated that two relatively larger vortices and two smaller vortices appear in the bubble waist and below the lance,*** expansion of larger ones as well as the shrinking of smaller ones combine to cause the contraction of the bubble *** to the results of the case with a fixed gas injection velocity(V_(g)=58 m/s),the splashing volume and dead zone volume of the slag under the V_(g)=58+10sin(2πt)condition are reduced by 24.9%and 23.5%,respectively,where t represents the instant *** penetration depth and slag motion velocity of the latter are 1.03 and 1.31 times high-er than those of the former,respectively.
