A Grammar Analysis Model for the Unified Multimedia Query Language

The unified multimedia query language （UMQL） is a powerful general-purpose multimedia query language, and it is very suitable for multimedia information retrieval. The paper proposes a grammar analysis model to implement an effective grammatical processing for the language. It separates the grammar analysis ofa UMQL query specification into two phases： syntactic analysis and semantic analysis, and then respectively uses Backus-Naur form （EBNF） and logical algebra to specify both restrictive grammar rules. As a result, the model can present error guiding information for a query specification which owns incorrect grammar. The model not only suits well the processing of UMQL queries, but aLso has a guiding significance for other projects concerning query processings of descriptive query languages.

Nanoparticles(NPs)have gained significant attention as a functional material due to their ability to effectively enhance pressure reduction in injection processes in ultra-low permeability *** are typically studied in controlled laboratory conditions,and their behavior in real-world,complex environments such as ultra-low permeability reservoirs,is not well understood due to the limited scope of their *** study investigates the efficacy and underlying mechanisms of NPs in decreasing injection pressure under various injection conditions(25—85℃,10—25 MPa).The results reveal that under optimal injection conditions,NPs effectively reduce injection pressure by a maximum of 22.77%in core *** pressure reduction rate is found to be positively correlated with oil saturation and permeability,and negatively correlated with temperature and ***,particle image velocimetry(PIV)experiments(25℃,atmospheric pressure)indicate that the pressure reduction is achieved by NPs through the reduction of wall shear resistance and wettability *** work has important implications for the design of water injection strategies in ultra-low permeability reservoirs.

Objective: Rosa odorata var. gigantea is a popular medicinal plant. Some studies have demonstrated that ethanolic extract of the fruits of R. odorata var. gigantea(FOE) has gastroprotective properties. The aim of this study was to investigate the gastroprotective activity of FOE on water immersion restrained stress(WIRS)-induced gastric mucosal injury in a rat model and elucidate the possible molecular mechanisms ***: A rat stress ulcer model was established in this study using WIRS. After rats were treated with FOE orally for 7 d, the effect of FOE treatment was analyzed by hematoxylin and eosin(H&E) staining, and the changes of inflammatory factors, oxidative stress factors, and gastric-specific regulatory factors and pepsin in the blood and gastric tissues of rats were examined by ELISA assay. Molecular mechanism of FOE was investigated by immunohistochemical assay and Western ***: Compared with the WIRS group, FOE could diminish both the macroscopic and microscopic pathological morphology of gastric mucosa. FOE significantly preserved the antioxidants glutathione peroxidase(GSH-PX), superoxide dismutase(SOD) and catalase(CAT) contents;anti-inflammatory cytokines interleukin-10(IL-10) and prostaglandin E2(PGE2) levels as well as regulatory factors tumor necrosis factor-a(TGF-a) and somatostatin(SS) contents, while decreasing malondialdehyde(MDA), nitric oxide synthase(i NOS), tumor necrosis factor(TNF-a), interleukin-1β(IL-1β), interleukin-6(IL-6), gastrin(GAS)and endothelin(ET) levels. Moreover, FOE distinctly upregulated the expression of Nrf2, HO-1, Bcl2 and proliferating cell nuclear antigen(PCNA). Objective: To investigate the distributions of human leukocyte antigen (HLA)-A and-B alleles and HLA-A-B haplotypes in the Yi ethnic minority of the Yunnan Province, situated in southwestern China. Methods: DNA typing for HLA-A and-B loci was performed using the polymerase chain reaction-sequence-based typing (PCR-SBT) method on 114 randomly selected healthy individuals of the Yi population. The allelic frequencies of HLA-A and-B loci were calculated by direct counting and HLA-A-B haplotypes were estimated using the expectation maximization algorithm. Results: A total of 17 HLA-A and 38 HLA-B alleles were found in the Yi population. The most frequent alleles were A2402 (32.46%), A1101 (26.32%), and A0203 (10.09%) at the HLA-A locus and B4601 (12.28%), B1525 (10.09%), B4001 (8.77%), and B3802 (7.89%) at the HLA-B locus. The predominant HLA-A-B haplotypes were A2402-B1525 (7.86%) and A0203-B3802 (5.64%), followed by A1101-B4001 (4.69%). Phylogenetic analysis indicates that the Yi population in the Honghe, Yunnan Province of China basically belongs to groups of southeastern Asian origin, but shares some characteristics with northeastern Asian groups. Conclusion: The present study may add to the understanding of HLA polymorphism in the Yi ethnic group that was poorly defined previously, and provide useful information for bone marrow transplantation, anthropological research, and forensic sciences as well as for disease-association studies.

Mosquitoes are of great medical significance as vectors of many deadly *** have been widely used in phylogenetic studies,but mitogenome knowledge within the family Culicidae is limited,and Culicidae phylogeny is far from *** this study,we surveyed the mitogenomes of 149 Culicidae species,including 7 newly sequenced *** analysis of 149 mosquito mitogenomes shows gene composition and order to be identical to that of an ancestral insect,and the AT bias,length variation,and codon usage are all consistent with that of other reported Dipteran *** analyses based on the DNA sequences of the 13 protein-coding genes from the 149 species robustly support the monophyly of the subfamily Anophelinae and the tribes Aedini,Culicini,Mansonini,Sabethini,and *** resolve ambiguous relationships between clades within the subfamily Culicinae,we performed topological tests and show that Aedini is a sister to Culicini and that Uranotaenini is a sister to(Mansonini)+(Toxorhynchitini+Sabethini).In addition,we estimated divergence times using a Bayesian relaxation clock based on the sequence data and 3 fossil calibration *** results show mosquitoes diverged during the Early Jurassic with massive Culicinae radiations during the Cretaceous,coincident with the emergence of angiosperms and the burst of mammals and ***,this study,which uses the largest number of Culicidae mitogenomes sequenced to date,comprehensively reveals the mitogenome characteristics and mitogenome-based phylogeny and divergence times of Culicidae,providing information for further studies on the mitogenome,phylogeny,evolution,and taxonomic revision of Culicidae.
