Interacting system NGC 7805/6(Arp 112)and its tidal dwarf galaxy candidate

We present results from our Giant Metrewave Radio Telescope(GMRT)HⅠ,Himalayan Chandra Telescope(HCT)Hα,1 m Sampurnanand Telescope(ST)and 1.3 m Devasthal Fast Optical Telescope(DFOT)deep optical observations of the NGC 7805/6(Arp 112)system to test KUG 2359+311’s tidal dwarf galaxy(TDG)candidacy and explore the properties of the interacting *** GMRT HⅠmap shows no HⅠdetection associated with KUG 2359+311,nor any HⅠtail or bridge-like structure connecting KUG 2359+311 to the NGC 7805/6 *** HCT Hαimage,on the other hand,displays strong detections in KUG 2359+311,with net SFR0.035±0.009 M_(⊙)yr^(-1).The Hαdata constrain the redshift of KUG 2359+311 to 0.00≤z≤0.043,compared to the redshift of NGC 7806 *** detected to date have all been HⅠrich,and displayed HⅠ,ionised gas and stellar tidal debris trails(bridges or tails)linking them to their parent ***,neither our HⅠdata nor our optical imaging,while three magnitudes deeper than SDSS,reveals a tidal trail connecting KUG 2359+311 to NGC 7805/*** of HⅠ,presence of an old stellar population,ongoing star formation and reasonably high SFR compared to normal dwarf galaxies suggest that KUG 2359+311 may not be an Arp 112 *** is most likely a case of a regular gas-rich dwarf galaxy undergoing a morphological transformation after having lost its entire gas content to an interaction with the Arp 112 *** and metallicity from future spectroscopic observations of KUG 2359+311 would help clarify the nature of this enigmatic structure.

Optimal Supplement Dosage of Double-Low Rapeseed Meal in Concentrated Feed of Fattening Lambs

[ Objective] To determine the optimal supplement dosage of double-low rapeseed meal in concentrated feed of fattening lambs. [ Method] A total of 120 Tibetan lambs at the age of 50 d were selected and divided randomly into four groups. The lambs in these four groups were fed with diets respectively supplemented the double-low rapeseed meal of 50,100,150 and 200 g/kg. Their diets had the same nutritional levels of energy and protein. The experimental period was 120 d. [ Result] Daily gain, feed conservation ratio and economic benefits were largely increased in the lambs fed with the diets supplemented the double-low rapeseed meal of 150 g/kg （Daily gain, P 〈 0.01 ）. However, the daily gain and feed conservation ratio were largely decreased in the lambs fed with the diets supplemented the double-low rapeseed meal of 200 g/kg. Moreover, serum levels of transaminase and thyroxine were not significantly different between the four groups. [ Conclusion] The optimal supplement dosage of the double-low rapeseed meal is 150 g/kg in fattening lambs.

De novo synthesis of atropisomeric benzofurans via Cu/SPDO complex catalyzed asymmetric formal [3 + 2] annulation

Herein, the de novo synthesis of atropisomeric benzofurans through the Cu/spirocyclic-pyrrolidine-oxazoline(SPDO) complex catalyze asymmetric formal [3 + 2] cycloaddition between quinones and ynamides is explored, producing a range of structurally diverse axially chiral benzofurans in satisfactory yields with good to excellent enantioselectivities. furthermore, density functional theory calculations were applied to explain the possible reaction mechanism.

Reducing the measurement errors in nonadiabatic holonomic quantum computers

Nonadiabatic holonomic quantum computers serve as the physical platform for nonadiabatic holonomic quantum *** quantum computation has entered the noisy intermediate-scale era, building accurate intermediate-scale nonadiabatic holonomic quantum computers is clearly necessary. Given that measurements are the sole means of extracting information, they play an indispensable role in nonadiabatic holonomic quantum computers. Accordingly, developing methods to reduce measurement errors in nonadiabatic holonomic quantum computers is of great importance. However, while much attention has been given to the research on nonadiabatic holonomic gates, the research on reducing measurement errors in nonadiabatic holonomic quantum computers is severely lacking. In this study, we propose a measurement error reduction method tailored for intermediate-scale nonadiabatic holonomic quantum computers. The reason we say this is because our method can not only reduce the measurement errors in the computer but also be useful in mitigating errors originating from nonadiabatic holonomic gates. Given these features,our method significantly advances the construction of accurate intermediate-scale nonadiabatic holonomic quantum computers.

Cells are the fundamental units of biological systems and exhibit unique development trajectories and molecular features. Our exploration of how the genomes orchestrate the formation and maintenance of each cell, and control the cellular phenotypes of various organismsis, is both captivating and intricate. Since the inception of the first single-cell RNA technology, technologies related to single-cell sequencing have experienced rapid advancements in recent years. These technologies have expanded horizontally to include single-cell genome, epigenome,proteome, and metabolome, while vertically, they have progressed to integrate multiple omics data and incorporate additional information such as spatial sc RNA-seq and CRISPR screening. Single-cell omics represent a groundbreaking advancement in the biomedical field,offering profound insights into the understanding of complex diseases, including cancers. Here, we comprehensively summarize recent advances in single-cell omics technologies, with a specific focus on the methodology section. This overview aims to guide researchers in selecting appropriate methods for single-cell sequencing and related data analysis.

Equivalent characterizations of Hardy spaces with variable exponent via wavelets

Via the boundedness of intrinsic g-functions from the Hardy spaces with variable exponent,Hp(·)(Rn),into Lebesgue spaces with variable exponent,Lp(·) (Rn),and establishing some estimates on a discrete Littlewood-Paley g-function and a Peetre-type maximal function,we obtain several equivalent characterizations of Hp(·)(Rn) in terms of wavelets,which extend the wavelet characterizations of the classical Hardy *** main ingredients are that,we overcome the difficulties of the quasi-norms of Hp(·)(Rn) by elaborately using an observation and the Fefferman-Stein vector-valued maximal inequality on Lp(·)(Rn),and also overcome the difficulty of the failure of q =2 in the atomic decomposition of Hp(·) (Rn) by a known idea.

Oxygen reduction reaction on single Pt nanoparticle

Nanocollision electrochemistry is employed to evaluate the ORR’s activity of one single Pt nanoparticle,the effect of the size and ligand is *** size-normalized activity of the Pt nanoparticle of 4 nm is two times higher than that of 25 nm,confirming that the intrinsic activity does depend on the size of the *** is further found that the adsorbed ligand does yield effect on electrocatalysis,and the adsorption strength follows the order of PVP>CTAB>*** work is of significance to understand the nature of the ORR’s electrocatalysis at the level of an individual entity,which makes the structure-activity correlation in a more reliable way.

Sequential Recommendation via Cross-Domain Novelty Seeking Trait Mining

Transfer learning has attracted a large amount of interest and research in last decades, and some effort has been made to build more precise recommendation systems. Most previous transfer recommendation systems assume that the target domain shares the same/similar rating patterns with the auxiliary source domain, which is used to improve the recommendation performance. However, almost all existing transfer learning work does not consider the characteristics of sequential data. In this paper, we study the new cross-domain recommendation scenario by mining novelty-seeking trait. Recent studies in psychology suggest that novelty-seeking trait is highly related to consumer behavior, which has a profound business impact on online recommendation. Previous work performed on only one single target domain may not fully characterize users' novelty-seeking trait well due to the data scarcity and sparsity, leading to the poor recommendation performance. Along this line, we propose a new cross-domain novelty-seeking trait mining model (CDNST for short) to improve the sequential recommendation performance by transferring the knowledge from auxiliary source domain. We conduct systematic experiments on three domain datasets crawled from Douban to demonstrate the effectiveness of our proposed model. Moreover, we analyze the directed influence of the temporal property at the source and target domains in detail.

Ultralow platinum-loading PtPdRu@PtRuIr/C catalyst with excellent CO tolerance and high performance for the methanol oxidation reaction

Carbon-supported PtPdRuIr, Pd@PtRuIr, PtPd@PtRuIr, and PtPdRu@PtRuIr catalysts were prepared by a colloidal method and their catalytic activities to the methanol oxidation reaction in the acidic media were extensively investigated at room temperature. The catalysts were characterized by transmission electron microscopy and X-ray diffraction techniques, and their electrochemical behavior was evaluated by the cyclic voltammetry. The PtPdRu@PtRuIr/C catalyst is found to yield much higher electrocatalytic activity than the other ones and the commercial catalyst. For example, the Pt metal mass-specific activity of this PtPdRu@PtRuIr/C（Pt content 10 wt%,1.7 mAácm-2ámg-1） electrocatalyst is ＊3-fold higher than that of the commercial JM 40 % Pt/C（0.6 mAácm-2ámg-1）electrocatalysts, and the If/Ib ratio of PtPdRu@PtRuIr/C is1.6, which is higher than that of the JM 40 % Pt/C（0.9）. The improvement may result from the high dispersion of the active metal catalyst and the synergistic effect between the PtRuIr and PtPdRu layers. It is thus concluded that the pseudo-core-shell structure could significantly improve the methanol electro-oxidation activity and CO tolerance of the electrocatalyst.
