We used whole-vacuolar patch-clamp recording mode to study the action mechanism of La3+ to Slow Vacuolar (SV) channels for the first time. We recorded SV channel currents of Xinlimei (Raphanus satirus L.) vacuolars. The minimum activation potentials of voltage-dependent SV channels tied in 25+/-5 mV. The increase in cytoplasmic Ca2+ led to enhancement of SV-type currents. It was found that the threshold potential of activation shifted towards more depolarized values whenever cytoplasmic Ca2+ was increased. When 10(-10) mol/L free La3+ was added to the bath, SV-type current was suppressed by 60 similar to 75%. These data showed La3+ reduced ion permeabilities of Xinlimei root vacuolar membrane.

Background:Hypothermia is associated with many adverse clinical outcomes in pediatric patients,and thus,it is important to an effective and safe method for preventing peri-operative hypothermia and its associated adverse outcomes in pediatric *** study aimed to investigate the effect of forced-air warming blankets with different temperatures on changes in the transforming growth factor-β(TGF-β),tumor necrosis factor(TNF)-α,interleukin(IL)-1β,and IL-10 levels in children undergoing surgical treatment for developmental displacement of the hip(DDH).Methods:The study included 123 children undergoing surgery for DDH under general *** patients were randomly assigned to three groups,using a random number table:the 32,38,and 43°C groups according to the temperature setting of the forced-air warming *** each patient,body temperature was recorded immediately after anesthesia induction and intubation(T0),at initial incision(T1),at 1 h after incision(T2),at2 h after incision(T3),at the end of surgery(T4),immediately upon return to the ward after surgery(T5),and then at 12 h(T6),24 h(T7),36 h(T8),and 48 h(T9)after the *** serum levels of TGF-β,TNF-α,IL-1β,and IL-10 were measured at To and T4 for all ***:The number of patients with fever in the 38°C group was significantly less than those in the 32 and 43°C groups(x^2=6.630,P=0.036).At To,the body temperatures in the 38 and 43°C groups were significantly higher than that in the 32°C group(F=17.992,P<0.001).At T2,the body temperature was significantly higher in the 43°C group than those in the 32 and 38°C groups(F=12.776,P<0.001).Moreover,at T4,the serum levels of TGF-β(F=3286.548,P<0.001)and IL-10(F=4628.983,P<0.001)were significantly increased in the 38°C group,and the serum levels of TNF-α(F=911.415,P<0.001)and IL-10(F=322.191,P<0.001)were significantly decreased in the 38°C group,compared with the levels in the 32 and 43°C ***:Force-air warming blankets set at 38°C

Polarizing beam splitter (PBS) is a critical optical component in projection display system because PBS performance greatly influences the contrast and brightness of the system. PBS performance is usually measured by spectrophotometer after coating and cementing, but the measured result cannot represent the actual performance in practice because people usually change the incident angle in one plane (horizontal plane) and do not consider the other plane (vertical plane). Geometrical polarization rotation occurring at reduced F-number influences the measuring precision of s-polarization transmittance (Ts) and p-polarization reflectance (Rp). A more accurate and practical way to measure the performance of broadband, wide-angle PBS is presented in this paper.

Intelligent electromagnetic interference(EMI)shielding modulators with a wide tuning range and cyclic stability are urgently needed but their fabrication remains challenging.A gel-like MXene/norepinephrine ink is developed and multifunctional MXene gratings with wide EMI shielding effectiveness(SE)tuning range,superior reversibility,and high mechanical flexibility are constructed by direct ink writing approach for dynamic EMI shielding and patterned Joule heating *** modulable MXene/norepinephrine grating with a high conductivity of 3510 S·cm-1 can conveniently realize the seamless modulation of the EMI SE by adjusting the angle between the MXene grating filaments and the electric field of the incident electromagnetic waves,offering highly reversible switching between shielding“On”(28.0 dB)and“Off”(0.5 dB)***,due to the optimized integration of the MXene ink and the rationally designed pattern,a superior specific EMI SE of 95,688.2 dB·cm^(2)·g^(-1) is achieved in the“On”***,the MXene/norepinephrine ink can be used to fabricate many complex patterned gratings with superior stability,instant responsibility,and superb mechanical flexibility,exhibiting a unique patterned Joule heating *** writing of multifunctional gratings paves a means for developing intelligent EMI shielding materials,wearable electronic devices,and advanced thermal management materials.

目的系统评价微创经皮后路椎弓根螺钉内固定术中单向螺钉治疗胸腰椎压缩性骨折的有效性与安全性。方法计算机检索中国知网、维普期刊库、万方数据库、PubMed、Embase、Cochrane Library数据库,检索时间均为建库至2022年7月1日,收集有关单向螺钉与万向螺钉治疗胸腰椎骨折的临床对照研究。筛选文献及质量评价后,提取数据并使用RevMan5.3软件进行Meta分析。结果共纳入9篇文献。单向组在改善矢状位Cobb角[P<0.00001,MD=-1.60,95%CI(-2.22,-0.98)]及恢复椎体前缘高度[P<0.00001,MD=5.08,95%CI(3.98,6.19)]方面优于万向组,万向组在手术时间[P=0.04,MD=8.33,95%CI(0.37,16.29)]、术中出血量[P=0.004,MD=6.95,95%CI(2.19,11.71)]、穿棒时间[P<0.00001,MD=2.11,95%CI(1.65,2.57)]、术后并发症发生率[P=0.01,MD=2.63,95%CI(1.24,5.61)]方面优于单向组,两组在视觉模拟疼痛评分[P=0.25,MD=-0.42,95%CI(-1.14,0.30)]、功能障碍指数[P=0.68,MD=-0.51,95%CI(-2.98,1.96)]方面无显著差异。结论在微创经皮后路椎弓根螺钉内固定术中,单向螺钉在改善术后Cobb角、恢复伤椎前缘高度方面优于万向螺钉,但万向螺钉在缩短手术时间及穿棒时间、减少术中出血量及降低术后并发症方面优于单向螺钉。

Geodynamic mechanism responsible for the generation of Silurian granitoids and the tectonic evolution of the Qilian orogenic belt remains controversial. In this study, we report the results of zircon U–Pb age, and systematic whole-rock geochemical data for the Haoquangou and Liujiaxia granitoids within the North Qilian orogenic belt and the Qilian Block, respectively, to constrain their petrogenesis, and the Silurian tectonic evolution of the Qilian orogenic belt. Zircon U–Pb ages indicate that the Haoquangou and Liujiaxia intrusions were emplaced at423 ± 3 Ma and 432 ± 4 Ma, respectively. The Haoquangou granodiorites are calc-alkaline, while the Liujiaxia granites belong to the high-K calc-alkaline *** are peraluminous in composition and have relatively depleted Nd isotopic [ε_(Nd)(t) =(-3.9 – + 0.6)] characteristics compared with regional basement rocks, implying their derivation from a juvenile lower crust. They show adakitic geochemical characteristics and were generated by partial melting of thickened lower continental crust. Postcollisional extensional regime related to lithospheric delamination was the most likely geodynamic mechanism for the generation of the Haoquangou granodiorite, while the Liujiaxia granites were generated in a compressive setting during continental collision between the Qaidam and Qilian blocks.

Interaction between maternal 5,10-methylenetetrahydrofolate reductase C677T and methionine synthase A2756G gene variants to increase the risk of fetal neural tube defects in a Shanxi Han population

Background The 5,10-methylenetetrahydrofolate reductase （MTHFR） and methionine synthase （MS） are attractive candidates for screening for risk of neural tube defects （NTDs）. The aim of the current study was to investigate maternal MTHFR and MS polymorphisms and the interaction between them and their influence on children with NTDs in the Shanxi Province of northern China. Methods Fifty-one mothers who previously had children with NTDs constituted the case group and 51 age-matched mothers with children that were unaffected by any birth defects constituted the control group. All subjects were genotyped for MTHFR C677T and MS A2756G polymorphisms. SPSS 11.5 software package was used for all analyses. Results There was a significant difference for MTHFR genotype distribution for one site （C677T） between the case and control groups. The T allele frequencies were significantly higher in the case group than in the control group （55.9% vs. 35.3%, P 〈0.05）. A lack of association was observed for the MS A2756G polymorphism. There was an interaction between the maternal MTHFR C677T genotype and MS A2756G genotype. Conclusion Genetic interaction between MTHFR and MS genes raises the probability of neural tube defects.

Inonotus obliquus， an edible and medicinal fungus， has proven to be beneficial for relieving body aging. Previous research has shown that Inonotus obliquus polysaccharide (IOP) can effectively reduce oxidative stress and alleviate photoaging in UVB-treated HaCaT cells. However， the underlying mechanism is still unclear. This study aimed to investigate the mechanism through which IOP mitigates skin photodamage by modulating mitochondrial autophagy through both in vivo and in vitro experiments. The results indicated that IOP alleviated the thickening of the stratum corneum and inflammatory infiltration caused by UVB radiation. Moreover， IOP effectively inhibited the mRNA expression of MMP1 and MMP3 to prevent collagen breakdown and decreased the expression of aging-related proteins (P53 and P21) and inflammatory factors (TNF-α and IFN-γ) in UVB-induced mice. Both in vitro and in vivo studies demonstrated that IOP increased Sirt3 expression， activated the Foxo3a/PINK1-Parkin pathway and enhanced mitochondrial autophagy to reduce photodamage. Additionally， IOP could regulate the gut microbes in photodamaged mice and increase the relative abundance of Clostridium＿XlVa， Desulfovibrio， and Barnesiella， which are important for protecting the intestinal barrier and alleviating intestinal dysfunction. These results provide a theoretical foundation for the use of IOP as a natural component to reduce skin photodamage.
