Hyperspectral image super resolution using deep internal and self-supervised learning

By automatically learning the priors embedded in images with powerful modelling ca-pabilities,deep learning-based algorithms have recently made considerable progress in reconstructing the high-resolution hyperspectral(HR-HS)*** previously collected large-amount of external data,these methods are intuitively realised under the full supervision of the ground-truth ***,the database construction in merging the low-resolution(LR)HS(LR-HS)and HR multispectral(MS)or RgB image research paradigm,commonly named as HSI SR,requires collecting corresponding training triplets:HR-MS(RgB),LR-HS and HR-HS image simultaneously,and often faces dif-ficulties in *** learned models with the training datasets collected simultaneously under controlled conditions may significantly degrade the HSI super-resolved perfor-mance to the real images captured under diverse *** handle the above-mentioned limitations,the authors propose to leverage the deep internal and self-supervised learning to solve the HSI SR *** authors advocate that it is possible to train a specific CNN model at test time,called as deep internal learning(DIL),by on-line preparing the training triplet samples from the observed LR-HS/HR-MS(or RgB)images and the down-sampled LR-HS ***,the number of the training triplets extracted solely from the transformed data of the observation itself is extremely few particularly for the HSI SR tasks with large spatial upscale factors,which would result in limited reconstruction *** solve this problem,the authors further exploit deep self-supervised learning(DSL)by considering the observations as the unlabelled training ***,the degradation modules inside the network were elaborated to realise the spatial and spectral down-sampling procedures for transforming the generated HR-HS estimation to the high-resolution RgB/LR-HS approximation,and then the reconstruction errors of the observations were formulated for mea

TRAIL and Celastrol Combinational Treatment Suppresses Proliferation, Migration, and Invasion of Human glioblastoma Cells via Targeting Wnt/β-catenin Signaling Pathway

Objective To investigate the mechanistic basis for the anti-proliferation and anti-invasion effect of tumor necrosis factor-related apoptosis-induced ligand(TRAIL)and celastrol combination treatment(TCCT)in glioblastoma *** Cell counting kit-8 was used to detect the effects of different concentrations of celastrol(0-16µmol/L)and TRAIL(0-500 ng/mL)on the cell viability of glioblastoma cells.U87 cells were randomly divided into 4 groups,namely control,TRAIL(TRAIL 100 ng/mL),Cel(celastrol 0.5µmol/L)and TCCT(TRAIL 100 ng/mL+celastrol 0.5µmol/L).Cell proliferation,migration,and invasion were detected by colony formation,wound healing,and Transwell assays,*** reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction and Western blotting were performed to assess the levels of epithelial-mesenchymal transition(EMT)markers(zona occludens,N-cadherin,vimentin,zinc finger E-box-binding homeobox,Slug,and β-catenin).Wnt pathway was activated by lithium chloride(LiCl,20 mol/L)and the mechanism for action of TCCT was *** Celastrol and TRAIL synergistically inhibited the proliferation,migration,invasion,and EMT of U87 cells(Pgulated the expression of gSK-3β and down-regulated the expression of β-catenin and its associated proteins(Pg c-Myc,Cyclin-D1,and matrix metalloproteinase(MMP)-*** addition,LiCl,an activator of the Wnt signaling pathway,restored the inhibitory effects of TCCT on the expression of β-catenin and its downstream genes,as well as the migration and invasion of glioblastoma cells(Pgistically suppress glioblastoma cell migration,invasion,and EMT,potentially through inhibition of Wnt/β-catenin *** underlies a novel mechanism of action for TCCT as an effective therapy for glioblastoma.

A direct polymeric carbon nitride/tungsten oxide Z-scheme heterostructure for efficient photocatalytic hydrogen generation via reforming of plastics into value-added chemicals

To promote charge transfer and separation for efficient photocatalysis,a direct Z-scheme heterostructure was constructed by coupling polymeric carbon nitride（PCN） and ***,the obtained PCN/WO3Z-scheme heterostructure could photocataly tic ally produce hydrogen and value-added chemicals（e.g.,formate and acetate） by reforming of plastic polylactic acid（PLA） in alkaline aqueous *** optimizing WO3contents and reaction conditions,the obtained PCN/WO3heterostructure exhibits much increased photocatalytic activity for PLA photoreforming under visible light,with hydrogen evolution rate reaching 402.90 μmol·g-1·h-1,which is 3.5 times that of *** is revealed that the Z-scheme charge transfer between PCN and WO3mainly contributes to the promoted charge separation and thus the improved photocatalytic ***,with h+and·OH experimentally evidenced as the predominant active species,a possible reaction pathway for the reforming of PLA into value-added chemicals（e.g.,formate and acetate）over PCN/WO3Z-scheme heterostructure is cleared by monitoring the reaction intermediates and *** work paves a carbon neutrality and scalable route toward the synergistical production of hydrogen and value-added chemicals by utilizing and recycling plastic waste.

This work provides a new multimodal fusion generative adversarial net(gAN)model,Multiple Conditions Transform W-net(MCSTransWnet),which primarily uses femtosecond laser arcuate keratotomy surgical parameters and preoperative corneal topography to predict postoperative corneal topography in astigmatism-corrected *** MCSTransWnet model comprises a generator and a discriminator,and the generator is composed of two *** first sub-generator extracts features using the U-net model,vision transform(ViT)and a multi-parameter conditional module branch.The second sub-generator uses a U-net network for further image *** discriminator uses the pixel discriminator in ***,most gAN models are convolutional neural networks;however,due to their feature extraction locality,it is difficult to comprehend the relationships among global ***,we added a vision Transform network as the model branch to extract the global *** is normally difficult to train the transformer,and image noise and geometric information loss are ***,we adopted the standard U-net fusion scheme and transform network as the generator,so that global features,local features,and rich image details could be obtained *** experimental results clearly demonstrate that MCSTransWnet successfully predicts postoperative corneal topographies(structural similarity=0.765,peak signal-to-noise ratio=16.012,and Fréchet inception distance=9.264).Using this technique to obtain the rough shape of the postoperative corneal topography in advance gives clinicians more references and guides changes to surgical planning and improves the success rate of surgery.

Wearable electromagnetic interference(EMI)shielding fabrics with excellent electromagnetic shielding performance,oxidation resistance,and structural stability are highly demanded for the rapid development of electronic devices and wireless *** are metallic conductive materials with exceptional EMI shielding properties,but they are prone to oxidation in air and have poor structural stability and durability on fabric ***,we present a one-step assembly method to fabricate fabrics coated with MXenes and polymeric sodium alginate(SA)composite(MXene-SA).SA protects MXenes from oxidation and forms a stable interlayer structure by bonding to *** MXene-SA coated fabrics are breathable and flexible,and have a low sheet resistance of 2.12±0.08Ω/sq and a high EMI shielding performance of 37.05 dB at X-band,which is comparable to the best 42.31 ***,the MXene-SA coated fabrics exhibit high structural stability and oxidation resistance under various conditions of sonication disintegration,mechanical abuse,chemical corrosion,and humidity,compared to pure MXenes coated *** believe that the wearable and high-performance MXene-SA fabrics have great potential for the next generation of ultra-portable and wearable EMI shielding products.

This study aimed to determine the prevalence and clinical features of Arrhythmogenic Right Ventricular Cardiomyopathy(ARVC)caused by pathogenic mutations in the Phospholamban(PLN)*** study included 170 patients who had a confrmed diagnosis of ARVC and underwent PLN genetic screening using next-generation *** fndings of this study provide valuable insights into the association between PLN mutations and ARVC,which can aid in the development of more efective diagnostic and treatment strategies for ARVC *** of the patients evaluated,six had a rare pathogenic mutation in PLN with the same p.R14del *** screening revealed that heterozygous carriers of p.R14del exhibited a defnite ARVC *** clinical studies,individuals with the p.R14del mutation experienced a similar rate of malignant arrhythmia events as those with classic desmosome *** adjusting for covariates,individuals with PLN mutations had a two point one seven times greater likelihood of experiencing transplant-related risks compared to those who did not possess PLN mutations(95%CI 1.08–6.82,p=0.035).The accumulation of left ventricular fat and fbers is a pathological marker for ARVC patients with p.R14del *** a cohort of 170 Chinese ARVC patients,three point fve percent of probands had the PLN pathogenic variant(p.R14del)and all were *** data shows that PLN-related ARVC patients are at high risk for ventricular arrhythmias and heart failure,which requires clinical diferentiation from classic ***,carrying the p.R14del mutation can be an independent prognostic risk factor in ARVC patients.
