Chronic diseases are a growing concern worldwide,with nearly 25% of adults suffering from one or more chronic health conditions,thus placing a heavy burden on individuals,families,and healthcare *** the advent of the“Smart Healthcare”era,a series of cutting-edge technologies has brought new experiences to the management of chronic *** them,smart wearable technology not only helps people pursue a healthier lifestyle but also provides a continuous flow of healthcare data for disease diagnosis and treatment by actively recording physiological parameters and tracking the metabolic ***,how to organize and analyze the data to achieve the ultimate goal of improving chronic disease management,in terms of quality of life,patient outcomes,and privacy protection,is an urgent issue that needs to be *** intelligence(AI)can provide intelligent suggestions by analyzing a patient’s physiological data from wearable devices for the diagnosis and treatment of *** addition,blockchain can improve healthcare services by authorizing decentralized data sharing,protecting the privacy of users,providing data empowerment,and ensuring the reliability of data *** AI,blockchain,and wearable technology could optimize the existing chronic disease management models,with a shift from a hospital-centered model to a patient-centered *** this paper,we conceptually demonstrate a patient-centric technical framework based on AI,blockchain,and wearable technology and further explore the application of these integrated technologies in chronic disease ***,the shortcomings of this new paradigm and future research directions are also discussed.

Water quality analysis and source apportionment in estuaries along the coast of the Bohai Sea,North China

High-dimensional data(a dataset with many features)were collected from 64 sampling sites to analyze the water quality in estuaries along the coast of the Bohai Sea,North *** twenty-five water quality parameters analyzed were collected monthly from January 2021 to December *** statistical techniques,such as the absolute principal component score-multiple linear regression model(APCS-MLR),correlation analysis,and analysis of variance were used to identify and quantify the potential sources or factors affecting water quality and to analyze the spatial-temporal variation in water *** water quality indices(WQIs),ranging from 67.96 to 70.67,showed that the water quality was at an intermediate level in the estuaries during both the flood and nonflood *** concentrations of total phosphorus(TP),ammonia N(AN),and organic pollutants were greater in the Haihe River Basin than in the Liaohe River and Huanghe-Huaihe River *** concentration of total nitrogen(TN)in the Haihe River Basin was lower than that in the Liaohe River and Huanghe-Huaihe River *** metal concentrations in the Liaohe River Basin were greater than those in the Haihe River and Huanghe-Huaihe River *** annual mean concentrations of AN in the estuaries of the Haihe,Liaohe,and Huanghe(yellow)rivers exhibited significant decreasing trends from 2013 to 2022,but no significant decreasing trends were found for permanganate index(COD_(Mn))or the *** concentrations of TN and AN were lower in the flood season than in the nonflood season,and the TP concentration was greater in the flood season than in the nonflood ***,the concentrations of organic pollutants did not exhibit significant *** sewage and industrial wastewater,substance exchange between air and water,nonpoint sources from rural and urban areas,and aquaculture wastewater were the major sources or factors responsible for water pollution in the estuaries.

Fracture is the primary failure type for the UO_(2)ceramic pellets,which are operated under irradiation and thermal processes,and physically confined by the *** this work,by combining closely coupled physical processes of heat conduction,heat transfer,and mechanical deformation with the cohesive phase field framework,we proposed a high-precision modeling of quasistatic cracking of three-dimensional(3D)UO_(2)ceramic fuel pellets under high temperature and *** simulation results agree well with the experimental results,indicating that the proposed method has the potential to capture 3D crack modes in the interested time ***,we studied the relation of the 3D fracture patterns of fuel pellets with the peak power *** was found that the power level plays a critical role in determining the competition between radial and circumferential cracks,as well as transverse penetrating cracks.

Objective:To explore a new artificial intelligence(AI)-aided method to assist the clinical diagnosis of tibial plateau fractures(TPFs)and further measure its validity and ***:A total of 542 X-rays of TPFs were collected as a reference *** AI algorithm(RetinaNet)was trained to analyze and detect TPF on the *** ability of the AI algorithm was determined by indexes such as detection accuracy and time taken for *** algorithm performance was also compared with orthopedic ***:The AI algorithm showed a detection accuracy of 0.91 for the identification of TPF,which was similar to the performance of orthopedic physicians(0.92±0.03).The average time spent for analysis of the AI was 0.56 s,which was 16 times faster than human performance(8.44±3.26 s).Conclusion:The AI algorithm is a valid and efficient method for the clinical diagnosis of *** can be a useful assistant for orthopedic physicians,which largely promotes clinical workflow and further guarantees the health and security of patients.

Cation segregation on cathode surfaces plays a key role in determining the activity and operational stability of solid oxide fuel cells（SOFCs）.The double perovskite oxide PrBa0.8Ca0.2Co2O5+δ（PBCC） has been widely studied as an active cathode but still suffer from serious detrimental *** enhance the cathode stability,a PBCC derived A-site medium-entropy Pr0.6La0.1Nd0.1Sm0.1Gd0.1Ba0.8Ca0.2Co2O5+δ（ME-PBCC） oxide was prepared and its segregation behaviors were investigated under different *** with initial PBCC oxide,the segregations of BaO and Co3O4on the surface of ME-PBCC material are significantly suppressed,especially for Co3O4,which is attributed to its higher configuration *** results also confirm the improved electrochemical performance and structural stability of ME-PBCC material,enabling it as a promising cathode for SOFCs.
