miRNAs regulate a variety of biological processes through pairing-based regulation of gene expression at the 3＇ end of the noncoding region of the target miRNA, miRNAs were found to be abnormally expressed in ischemia/reperfusion injury models. High-throughput sequencing is a recently developed method for sequencing miRNAs and has been widely used in the analysis of miRNAs. In this study, ischemia/reperfusion injury models were intracerebroventricularly injected with 50 pg/kg apelin-13. High-throughput sequencing showed that 357 known miRNAs were differentially expressed among rat models, among which 78 changed to 〉 2-fold or 〈 0.5-fold. Quantita- tive real-time polymerase chain reaction was selected to confirm the expression levels of four miRNAs that were differentially expressed, the results of which were consistent with the results of high-throughput sequencing. Gene Ontology analysis revealed that the predicted targets of the different miRNAs are particularly associated with cellular process, metabolic process, single-organism process, cell, and binding. Kyoto Encyclopedia of Gene and Genome analysis showed that the target genes are involved in metabolic pathways, mitogen-ac- tivated protein kinase signaling pathway, calcium signaling pathway, and nuclear factor-KB signaling pathway. Our findings suggest that differentially expressed miRNAs and their target genes play an important role in ischemia/reperfusion injury and neuroprotection by apelin-13.

The world produces vast quantities of high-dimensional multi-semantic ***,extracting valuable information from such a large amount of high-dimensional and multi-label data is undoubtedly arduous and *** selection aims to mitigate the adverse impacts of high dimensionality in multi-label data by eliminating redundant and irrelevant *** ant colony optimization algorithm has demonstrated encouraging outcomes in multi-label feature selection,because of its simplicity,efficiency,and similarity to reinforcement ***,existing methods do not consider crucial correlation information,such as dynamic redundancy and label *** tackle these concerns,the paper proposes a multi-label feature selection technique based on ant colony optimization algorithm(MFACO),focusing on dynamic redundancy and label ***,the dynamic redundancy is assessed between the selected feature subset and potential ***,the ant colony optimization algorithm extracts label correlation from the label set,which is then combined into the heuristic factor as label *** results demonstrate that our proposed strategies can effectively enhance the optimal search ability of ant colony,outperforming the other algorithms involved in the paper.

To improve the performance of yeast cell factories for industrial production,extensive CRISPR-mediated genome editing systems have been applied by artificially creating double-strand breaks(DSBs)to introduce mutations with the assistance of intracellular DSB *** strategies of DSB repair are required to meet various demands,including precise editing or random editing with customized gRNAs or a gRNA *** most yeasts remodeling techniques have shown rewarding performance in laboratory verification,industrial yeast strain manipulation relies only on very limited ***,we comprehensively reviewed the molecular mechanisms underlying recent industrial applications to provide new insights into DSB cleavage and repair pathways in both Saccharomyces cerevisiae and other unconventional yeast *** discussion of DSB repair covers the most frequently used homologous recombination(HR)and nonhomologous end joining(NheJ)strategies to the less well-studied illegitimate recombination(IR)pathways,such as single-strand annealing(SSA)and microhomology-mediated end joining(MMEJ).Various CRISPR-based genome editing tools and corresponding gene editing efficiencies are ***,we summarize recently developed CRISPR-based strategies that use optimized DSB repair for genome-scale editing,providing a direction for further development of yeast genome editing.

The study conveys an idea to enhance the osseointegration of titanium implant (Ti) through modulating macrophages M2 polarization. The ?100 nm spherical mesoporous silica nanoparticles (MSN) that compromised of ~4-nm-diameter nano? tunnels were synthesized by the conventional "sol-gel" method, into which the dexamethasone (DEX) was loaded (DEX@ MSN). The DEX@MSN could consistently release DEX and showed favorable cytocompatibility in RAW264.7 cells. The arginase-1 expression, a specific marker for macrophages M2 polarization, was also enhanced by DEX @ MSN treatment. Then, the Ti was pre-treated with anodization under 5 V to generate the titania nanotubes with ?30 nm diameter (NT-30) and the DEX @ MSN was introduced onto NT-30 surface via electrophoretic deposition, with the aid of chitosan. After optimizing the deposition parameters, the supernatants of RAW264.7 from the decorated implant surface could significantly promote the osteogenic differentiation of murine primary bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells. These findings demonstrate that delivery of DEX from implant surface can modulate the macrophages M2 polarization and result in favorable osteogenesis.

Coal-tar pitch(CP)is a promising carbon raw material for producing needle coke,carbon fiber *** processing,the H/C ratio,ash content,and quinoline insoluble(QI)in the CP are the key factors that influence the material *** this study,NMP was selected to extract CP first;then[BMIM]Cl/NMP mixed solvent was used;and finally a series of ionic liquids(ILs)mixtures with NMP were developed for the extraction of CP to obtain the refined *** extracts were analyzed via elemental analysis,TGA,FT-IR,and *** indicate that different NMP/IL mass ratios or different kinds of ILs have impact on the extraction *** relationship of the hydrogen to carbon(H/C)ratio changed with different solvents and QI extracts were *** showed that the H/C ratios changed little between NMP extracts and could be adjusted by changing the NMP/ILs mass ratio or using different *** extracts are suitable for preparation mesophase pitch because of no ash content,low QI,and appropriate H/C *** a result,NMP can be used to refine *** addition,[BMIM]Cl is good mixed with NMP for CP extraction,because it can obtain a relatively high yield under the same extraction conditions.
