Active flow control of S-duct by plasma synthetic jet

Flow separation and secondary flow in the S-duct of an aircraft engine cause severe pressure loss and airflow distortion at the outlet,lowering engine ***,a serial two-electrode plasma synthetic jet(PSJ)actuator array is used to actively control the flow field in the duct and improve its *** results show that the PSJ significantly increases the wall pressure recovery coefficient,suppresses flow separation,and improves the outlet pressure *** primary and secondary orders of the influencing factors are as follows:control position>jet momentum coefficient>excitation frequency>jet *** best jet control position is near the separation location,and the best jet configuration is the‘Λ’*** higher the jet momentum coefficient and excitation frequency,the better the flow *** wall pressure coefficient increases by up to 127.8%,and the outlet steady pressure distortion index decreases by 9.15%.The control mechanism is the direct energy injection into the flow boundary layer through a high-speed jet and the indirect control effect of the induced streamwise *** the one hand,the PSJ suppresses flow separation by improving the ability of the boundary layer to resist the inverse pressure *** the other hand,it reduces pressure distortion by decreasing the intensity of the secondary flow and weakening the *** study thus provides a new technology for the active control of the flow-field characteristics in an S-duct and has significance for guiding the application of synthetic jet technology in S-ducts.

X-ray pulsar-based navigation is a revolutionary technology which is capable of providing the required navigation information in the solar system. Performing as an important pulsar-based navigation technique, the Significance Enhancement of Pulse-profile with Orbit-dynamics(SEPO)can estimate orbital elements by using the distortion of pulse profile. Based on the SEPO technique,we propose a grouping bi-chi-squared technique and adopt the observations of Rossi X-ray Timing Explorer(RXTE) to carry out experimental verification. The pulsar timing is refined to determine spin parameters of the Crab pulsar(PSR B0531+21) during the observation periods, and a short-term dynamic model for RXTE satellite is established by considering the effects of diverse *** results suggest that the position and velocity errors are 16.3 km(3σ) and 13.3 m/s(3σ) with two adjacent observations split by one day(exposure time of 1.5 ks), outperforming those of the POLAR experiment whose results are 19.2 km(3σ) and 432 m/s(3σ). The approach provided is particularly applicable to the estimation of orbital elements via using high-flux observations.

Lithium metal batteries are among the strong contenders to satisfy the ever-increasing needs of energy storage systems,which however suffer from poor composition of the solid electrolyte interphase(SEI)layer and uncontrolled Li dendrites *** this regard,we report on the design of an ionreleased MgI_(2)-doped polyacrylonitrile(PAN)based nanofiber(MPANF)separator,which can lead to conducive SEI layer and dendrite-free Li *** combination of the lithophilic MgI_(2)nanoparticles with polarized PAN matrix comprehensively functions as a high-compatible interpenetrating network to homogenize ionic transportation and confront dendrite *** released I ions introduce the highion-conductivity LiI into SEI layer,which could induce the formation of favorable and protective interface layer in the early stage,as embodied in the enrichment of advantageous components such as LiN_(x)O_(y),Li_(2)O,LiF,and Li_(3)*** from the high-affinity MPANF separator,the Li||Li symmetric cell achieves an ultralow voltage hysteresis of 46 mV with an extended lifespan of 580 *** a prolonged lifetime of 590cycles with an enhanced specific capacity of 140.1 m Ah g^(-1)and the Coulombic efficiency of 96.2%at 1C can be obtained in full *** work may offer a facile and high-affinity alternative to traditional polymeric separators for high-performance and dendrite-free Li metal batteries.

The integration of nano-semiconductors into electromagnetic wave absorption materials is a highly desirable strategy for intensifying dielectric polarization loss;achieving high-attenuation microwave absorption and realizing in-depth comprehension of dielectric loss mechanisms remain ***,ultrafine oxygen vacancy-rich Nb_(2)O_(5)semiconductors are confined in carbon nanosheets(ov-Nb_(2)O_(5)/CNS)to boost dielectric polarization and achieve high *** polarization relaxation,electromagnetic response,and impedance matching of the ov-Nb_(2)O_(5)/CNS are significantly facilitated by the Nb_(2)O_(5)semiconductors with rich oxygen vacancies,which consequently realizes an extremely high attenuation performance of-80.8 dB(>99.999999%wave absorption)at 2.76 *** a dielectric polarization center,abundant Nb_(2)O_(5)–carbon heterointerfaces can intensify interfacial polarization loss to strengthen dielectric polarization,and the presence of oxygen vacancies endows Nb_(2)O_(5)semiconductors with abundant charge separation sites to reinforce electric dipole ***,the three-dimensional reconstruction of the absorber using microcomputer tomography technology provides insight into the intensification of the unique lamellar morphology regarding multiple reflection and scattering dissipation ***,ov-Nb_(2)O_(5)/CNS demonstrates excellent application potential by curing into a microwave-absorbing,machinable,and heat-dissipating *** work provides insight into the dielectric polarization loss mechanisms of nano-semiconductor/carbon composites and inspires the design of high-performance microwave absorption materials.

This paper investigates a power control problem in a jamming system,where a separate smart jammer is deployed to ensure the communication security of the legal ***,due to power leakage,the smart jammer may incur unintentional interference to legal *** key is how to suppress illegal communication while limit the negative impact on legal user.A jamming counter measure Stackelberg game is formulated to model the jamming power control dynamic of the *** smart jammer acts as a leader to sense and interfere illegal communications of the illegal user,while the illegal user acts as a *** the game,the impact of uncertain channel information is taken into *** to whether illegal user considers the uncertain channel information,we investigate two scenarios,namely,illegal user can obtain statistical distribution and accurate information of interference channel gain and its own cost,*** work not only proposes a jamming counter measure iterative algorithm to update parameters,but also gives two solutions to obtain the Stackelberg equilibrium(SE).The power convergence behaviours under two scenarios are analyzed and ***,brute force is used to verify the accuracy of the SE value further.

Objective: Previous investigations of circulating tumor cells(CTCs) have mainly focused on their genomic or transcriptomic features, leaving their epigenetic landscape relatively uncharacterized. Here, we investigated the genome-wide DNA methylome of CTCs with a view to understanding the epigenetic regulatory mechanisms underlying cancer ***: We evaluated single-cell DNA methylome and copy number alteration(CNA) in 196 single cells,including 107 CTCs collected from 17 cancer patients covering six different cancer types. Our single-cell bisulfite sequencing(sc BS-seq) covered on average 11.78% of all Cp G dinucleotides and accurately deduced the CNA patterns at 500 kb ***: We report distinct subclonal structures and different evolutionary histories of CTCs inferred from CNA and DNA methylation profiles. Furthermore, we demonstrate potential tumor origin classification based on the tissue-specific DNA methylation profiles of ***: Our work provides a comprehensive survey of genome-wide DNA methylome in single CTCs and reveals 5-methylcytosine(5-m C) heterogeneity in CTCs, addressing the potential epigenetic regulatory mechanisms underlying cancer metastasis and facilitating the future clinical application of CTCs.

Polydimethylsiloxane(PDMS)is an electron-withdrawing material that is widely used in triboelectric nanogenerators(TENGs).However,PDMS has poor mechanical properties after curing and is easily damaged when subjected to long-term ***,the long-term stable operation of TENGs under mechanical deformation cannot be *** this work,multiple hydrogen bonds and aromatic disulfide bonds were introduced into PDMS *** elastomers exhibited high toughness(a tensile strength of 1.91 MPa and an elongation at break of 340%),good recyclability,and room-temperature self-healing properties(healing efficiency of 96.4%in 24 h).Recyclable sandwich-like triboelectric nanogenerators with excellent electrical output performance(13.5 V)and room-temperature self-healing performance(24 h,98%recovery of self-generating performance)were prepared by utilizing the hydrogen bonding between the PDMS elastomer and *** work reported herein offers theoretical guidance and a compelling strategy for developing high-performance TENG negative friction layers.

This study primarily investigates the rock fracture mechanism of bottom cushion layer blasting and explores the effects of the bottom cushion layer on rock *** involves analyses of the evolution patterns of blasting stress,characteristics of crack distribution,and rock fracture features in the ***,blasting model experiments were carried out using the dynamic caustics principle to investigate the influence of bottom cushion layers and initiation methods on the integrity of the bottom rock *** experimental results indicate that the combined use of bottom cushion layers and inverse initiation effectively protects the integrity of the bottom rock ***,the process of stress wave propagation and dynamic crack propagation in rocks was simulated using the continuum-discontinuum element method(CDEM)and the Landau explosion source model,with varying thicknesses of bottom cushion *** numerical simulation results indicate that with increasing cushion thickness,the absorption of energy generated by the explosion becomes more pronounced,resulting in fewer cracks in the bottom rock *** illustrates the positive role of the cushion layer in protecting the integrity of the bottom rock mass.
