Plastic crystal neopentyl glycol(NPG)exhibits colossal barocaloric effect with high entropy ***,their application is restricted in several aspects,such as low thermal conductivity,substantial supercooling effect,and poor springback *** this work,multi-walled carbon nanotubes(MWCNTs)with ultra-high thermal conductivity and high mechanical strength were selected for performance enhancement of *** optimal mixing ratio was determined to be NPG with 3 wt%MWCNTs composites,which showed a 6K reduction in supercooling without affecting the phase change ***,comprehensive performance of the composites with optimal mixing ratio was compared with pure NPG At 40 MPa,390J·K^(-1)·kg^(-1)change in entropy and 9.9 K change in temperature were ***,the minimum driving pressure required to achieve reversible barocaloric effect was reduced by 19.2%.In addition,the thermal conductivity of the composite was increased by approximately 28%,significantly reducing the heat exchange time during a barocaloric refrigeration *** importantly,ultra-high pressure release rate resulted in a73.7%reduction in the springback time of the composites,offering new opportunities for the recovery of expansion work.

γ-Aminobutyric acid(GABA),a natural non-protein amino acid,plays an irreplaceable role in regulating the life activities of ***,the separation and purification of food-grade GABA from fermentation broth is still a great *** research utilized monosodium glutamate as a substrate for the production of high-purity GABA via an integrated process incorporating fermentation,purification,and ***,147 g·L^(-1) GABA with a yield of 99.8%was achieved through fed-batch fermentation by Lactobacillus brevis ***,three integrated purification methods by ethanol precipitation were compared,and crude GABA with a purity of 89,85%was obtained by the optimized ***,GABA crystals with a purity of 98.69%and a yield of 60%were further obtained through a designed crystallization ***,the GABA industrial production process model was established by Superproper Designer V10 software,and material balance and economic analysis were carried *** used in the process was recovered with a recovery of 98.79%through Aspen simulated extractive *** the fixed investment(equipment purchase and installation costs)for an annual production of 80 t GABA will be about 833000 USD;the total annual production cost(raw material cost and utility cost)will be about 641000 *** annual sale of GABA may be at the range of 2400000-4000000 USD and the payback period will be about 1-2 *** integrated process provides a potential way for the industrial-scale production of food-grade GABA.

Barocaloric refrigeration technology,one of the caloric-effect refrigeration technologies,is drawing more and more *** glycol(NPG)was reported to have a giant barocaloric effect,making it a potential barocaloric ***,the high solid-solid(S-S)phase transition temperature and low thermal conductivity hinder the application of NPG in barocaloric *** work lowers the S-S phase transition temperature and improves the thermal conductivity of the NPG-based barocaloric *** NPG/TMP(TMP:Trimethylolpropane)binary system with an S-S phase transition temperature of 283.15 K is prepared,in which the mass ratio of TMP is 20%.Graphene is then added to the binary system to enhance thermal conductivity,and the optimal mass ratio of graphene was determined to be 5%.The thermal conductivity of this composite is 0.4 W/(m·K),increased by 110%compared to the binary *** predict the effect of enhanced thermal conductivity on the cold-extraction process of the barocaloric refrigeration cycle,a numerical model is *** results show that the cold-extraction time of the barocaloric refrigeration cycle utilizing the composite with 5%graphene as the refrigerant is shortened by 50%compared with that using the binary system.

目的:探讨1,3-二苯-1,3-丙二酮(DPPD)对可卡因致小鼠急性肝损伤及神经毒性的保护作用。方法:可卡因急性肝损伤模型采用♂C57BL/6N小鼠,DPPD(200,400,800 mg·kg–1/d,ig)预给药4 d,末次给药30 min后,sc可卡因70 mg·kg-1造模,24 h后处死,测定血清ALT,AST,LDH的活性及肝脏MDA含量,观察肝脏病理变化。DPPD抗可卡因神经毒性实验采用♂ICR小鼠,DPPD预给药3 d(给药剂量同前),末次给药30 min后,sc可卡因20mg·kg-1造模,记录小鼠0-180 min的活动次数。结果:可卡因70 mg·kg-1致部分小鼠死亡(5/7),存活小鼠血清ALT,AST,LDH活性及肝脏MDA含量显著升高,肝脏病理损伤明显,而DPPD预给药组无死亡,血清ALT,AST,LDH活性及肝脏MDA含量显著降低,肝脏损伤明显改善,呈剂量-效应关系;DPPD抗可卡因神经毒性研究发现,DPPD预给药组小鼠自主活动量较模型组显著降低。结论:DPPD对可卡因致小鼠急性肝毒性及神经毒性有拮抗作用。

The relationship between NDVI and precipitation on the Tibetan Plateau

The temporal and spatial changes of NDVI on the Tibetan Plateau, as well as the relationship between NDVI and precipitation, were discussed in this paper, by using 8-km resolution multi-temporal NOAA AVHRR-NDVI data from 1982 to 1999. Monthly maximum NDVI and monthly rainfall were used to analyze the seasonal changes, and annual maximum NDVI, annual effective precipitation and growing season precipitation （from April to August） were used to discuss the interannual changes. The dynamic change of NDVI and the corre- lation coefficients between NDVI and rainfall were computed for each pixel. The results are as follows：（1） The NDVI reached the peak in growing season （from July to September） on the Tibetan Plateau. In the northern and western parts of the plateau, the growing season was very short （about two or three months）; but in the southern, vegetation grew almost all the year round. The correlation of monthly maximum NDVI and monthly rainfall varied in different areas. It was weak in the western, northern and southern parts, but strong in the central and eastern parts. （2） The spatial distribution of NDVI interannual dynamic change was different too. The increase areas were mainly distributed in southern Tibet montane shrub-steppe zone western part of western Sichuan-eastern Tibet montane coniferous forest zone, western part of northern slopes of Kunlun montane desert zone and southeastern part of southern slopes of Himalaya montane evergreen broad-leaved forest zone; the decrease areas were mainly distributed in the Qaidam montane desert zone, the western and northern parts of eastern Qinghai-Qilian montane steppe zone, southern Qinghai high cold meadow steppe zone and Ngari montane desert-steppe and desert zone. The spatial distribution of correlation coeffi- cient between annual effective rainfall and annual maximum NDVI was similar to the growing season rainfall and annual maximum NDVI, and there was good relationship between NDVI and rainfall in the meadow an

Based on the NOAA AVHRR-NDVI data from 1981 to 2001, the digitalized China Vegetation Map （1：1,000,000）, DEM, temperature and precipitation data, and field investigation, the spatial patterns and vertical characteristics of natural vegetation changes and their influencing factors in the Mt. Qomolangma Nature Reserve have been studied. The results show that：（1） There is remarkable spatial difference of natural vegetation changes in the Mt. Qomolangma Nature Reserve and stability is the most common status. There are 5.04% of the whole area being seriously degraded, 13.19% slightly degraded, 26.39% slightly improved, 0.97% significantly improved and 54.41% keeping stable. The seriously and slightly degraded areas, which mostly lie in the south of the reserve, are along the national boundaries. The areas of improved vegetation lie in the north of the reserve and the south side of the Yarlung Zangbo River. The stable areas lie between the improved and degraded areas. Degradation decreases with elevation. （2） Degeneration in the Mt. Qomolangma Nature Reserve mostly affects shrubs, needle-leaved forests and mixed forests. （3） The temperature change affects the natural vegetation changes spatially while the integration of temperature changes, slopes and aspects affects the natural vegetation change along the altitude gradients. （4） It is the overuse of resources that leads to the vegetation degeneration in some parts of the Mt. Qomolangma Nature Reserve.

Plant phenomics(PP)has been recognized as a bottleneck in studying the interactions of genomics and environment on plants,limiting the progress of smart breeding and precise ***-throughput plant phenotyping is challenging owing to the spatio-temporal dynamics of *** and remote sensing(PRS)techniques are increasingly used for plant phenotyping because of their advantages in multi-dimensional data acquisition and *** progress of PRS applications in PP has been observed over the last two decades and is analyzed here from an interdisciplinary perspective based on 2972 *** progress covers most aspects of PRS application in PP,including patterns of global spatial distribution and temporal dynamics,specific PRS technologies,phenotypic research fields,working environments,species,and ***,we demonstrate how to link PRS to multi-omics studies,including how to achieve multi-dimensional PRS data acquisition and processing,how to systematically integrate all kinds of phenotypic information and derive phenotypic knowledge with biological significance,and how to link PP to multi-omics association ***,we identify three future perspectives for PRS-based PP:(1)strengthening the spatial and temporal consistency of PRS data,(2)exploring novel phenotypic traits,and(3)facilitating multi-omics communication.

Start of vegetation growing season on the Tibetan Plateau inferred from multiple methods based on GIMMS and SPOT NDVI data

In this study, we have used four methods to investigate the start of the growing season （SGS） on the Tibetan Plateau （TP） from 1982 to 2012, using Normalized Difference Vegetation Index （NDVI） data obtained from Global Inventory Modeling and Mapping Studies （GIMSS, 1982-2006） and SPOT VEGETATION （SPOT-VGT, 1999-2012）. SGS values esti- mated using the four methods show similar spatial patterns along latitudinal or altitudinal gradients, but with significant variations in the SGS dates. The largest discrepancies are mainly found in the regions with the highest or the lowest vegetation coverage. Between 1982 and 1998, the SGS values derived from the four methods all display an advancing trend, however, according to the more recent SPOT VGT data （1999-2012）, there is no continu- ously advancing trend of SGS on the TP. Analysis of the correlation between the SGS values derived from GIMMS and SPOT between 1999 and 2006 demonstrates consistency in the tendency with regard both to the data sources and to the four analysis methods used. Com- pared with other methods, the greatest consistency between the in situ data and the SGS values retrieved is obtained with Method 3 （Threshold of NDVI ratio）. To avoid error, in a vast region with diverse vegetation types and physical environments, it is critical to know the seasonal change characteristics of the different vegetation types, particularly in areas with sparse grassland or evergreen forest.
