Mozambique's continental margin in East Africa was formed during the break-off stage of the east and west Gondwana lands. Studying the geological structure and division of continent-ocean boundary(COB) in Mozambique's continental margin is considered of great significance to rebuild Gondwana land and understand its movement mode. Along these lines, in this work, the initial Moho was fit using the known Moho depth from reflection seismic profiles, and a 3D multi-point constrained gravity inversion was carried out. Thus, highaccuracy Moho depth and crustal thickness in the study area were acquired. According to the crustal structure distribution based on the inversion results, the continental crust at the narrowest position of the Mozambique Channel was detected. According to the analysis of the crustal thickness, the Mozambique ridge is generally oceanic crust and the COB of the whole Mozambique continental margin is divided.

The stretched structure and heterogeneity of the crust of the Nansha Block,the southern continental margin of the South China Sea(SCS),are not well understood.We used published ocean bottom seismic(OBS)/multichannel reflection seismic(MCS)profiles across the Nansha Block to establish five two-dimensional crustal structure models.Using gravity modelling with magnetic anomaly inversion,we obtained the distribution of density and local magnetic susceptibility of the crust.The models show that the distribution of density and thickness of the upper crust in the Nansha Block is uneven,and the thick upper crust is prevalent in the regions close to the continent-ocean transition(COT)showing different characteristics.The interpreted Mesozoic granite blocks and Precambrian rigid basement reflects the heterogeneity in the material composition of the SCS continental margin.Based on the thinning styles of different crustal layers,we suggest that the Nansha Block has a three-layer thinning pattern.The uppermost pre-rift layer was deformed via brittle fractures,the upper crust was sheared by discrete shear zones,and the lower crust experienced ductile deformation.The inherited pre-rift thermal regime,mechanical state,and material composition of the SCS continental margin affected the extensional structure of the crust.

针对光泵磁力仪(OPM)对小型化、低功耗以及激光光源波长稳定性的要求,提出一套垂直腔面发射激光器激光波长锁定控制方案.所提基于多普勒吸收的光反馈波长锁定方案以133 Cs原子D1线F_(g)=4→F_(e)=3超精细能级跃迁波长为参考波长,OPM的原子蒸汽气室同时作为波长锁定的工作气室,无需任何额外装置即可将激光波长锁定在该D1线跃迁波长.使用数字比例积分微分控制与模糊控制算法进行激光的温度控制,使温度波动在±0.005℃内;采用基于电流镜的激光电流驱动方案,使电流波动在±50 nA内,为激光波长锁定提供了良好的硬件基础.最后,在实验室环境下实现OPM长达2 h的稳定信号输出.

洋中脊作为全球火山活动最活跃的区域之一,岩浆以裂隙式喷发为主,同时也存在中心式喷发火山锥。本文基于西北印度洋中脊大洋24航次的船载多波束地形数据,选择具有特殊空间位置和构造属性的北部弯折带作为研究靶区,应用定量地貌学方法分析火山锥形态特征与空间分布,探索区域火山作用与构造活动的耦合关系。结果表明,火山锥沿洋脊纵向上的分布主要受控于岩浆供应量,但段内其横向上的分布不仅与岩浆供应量有关,还决定于火山锥岩浆通道的形成。火山锥的分布与断层分布密切相关,断层分布密集,易于火山锥通道的形成。弯折带的洋脊段除了受扩张力外,还受到北东方向的应力作用,使弯折带南翼发育有更密集的断层,更高的火山锥密度。该应力效应的产生与非洲板块的北东向推移、印度板块的逆时针旋转以及弯折带效应本身有关。火山锥形态特征与空间分布,对于理解洋中脊区域构造演化以及火山活动过程具有重要价值。

在地磁场测量领域中,自激振荡式碱金属原子光泵磁力仪因为快速响应与高精度成为一项重要技术。其中自激式双气室光泵磁力仪无需考虑移相电路带来的信号误差,电路简单。使用垂直腔面发射激光器作为泵浦光源有效降低了磁力仪功耗和体积。针对使用垂直腔面发射激光器的便携式双气室铯光泵磁力仪激光稳频方法进行设计,设计方案包括激光器温度控制电路,光泵磁力仪信号反馈电路,激光器电流源调制与控制电路。将注入电流调制的稳频方法用于双气室光泵磁力仪结构,减小稳频代价的同时具有较好稳定性,温度控制精度达到0.002℃,10秒内波长稳定度达到4.36×10^(-10),初步探索了自激式双气室光泵磁力仪集成化与小型化的可能性。

针对复杂地质背景下的大陆架划界问题,提出了一种新的大陆坡脚点(foot point of the continental slope,FOS)确定方法。该方法基于水深平均梯度变化计算坡脚点所在位置,并结合相反证明以及凸包性、分段性、连续性原则进行优化。以莫桑比克南部陆缘为研究区域,利用2021年实测的高精度多波束地形数据,应用该方法提取了大陆架划界最关键的依据——FOS,并与联合国大陆架界限委员会使用的Geocap软件提取的结果进行对比,确认了相同的FOS位置,证明该方法是准确有效的。

To understand the rheology,structure,and tectonics of the lithosphere in the Mariana subduction zone and surrounding regions,we calculated the effective elastic thickness of the lithosphere(Te)in these areas using the improved moving window admittance technique(MWAT)method.We find that smaller data grid spacing can better reflect Te variations in the subduction zone.The Te of the study region ranges from 0 to 47 km.The Te is reduced from 40 km on the seaward side of the outer-rise region to 1-2 km along the trench axis.The lithospheric breaking distance from the trench axis ranges from 0 to 250 km.We suggest that the intermediate Te values in seamounts and high Te values on the seaward side of the outer-rise region respectively reflect the‘fossil’rheological state and current lithospheric strength of the Pacific plate.The faulting induced by the downward bending of subducting plate not only ruptures the lithosphere but also contributes to the mantle serpentinization,significantly reducing the lithospheric strength.The largest breaking distance of the Ogasawara Plateau may be due to the increase in the mass load of the subducting plate in the Ogasawara Plateau and the significant horizontal bending force in the plate caused by the resistance of seamounts to subduction.Furthermore,a good positive correlation exists between the breaking distance and subduction dip angle along the trench axis.We suggest that the subducting plate with a larger breaking distance is likely to form a larger subduction angle.

Water quality prediction is vital for solving water pollution and protecting the water environment.In terms of the characteristics of nonlinearity,instability,and randomness of water quality parameters,a short-term water quality prediction model was proposed based on variational mode decomposition(VMD)and improved grasshopper optimization algorithm(IGOA),so as to optimize long short-term memory neural network(LSTM).First,VMD was adopted to decompose the water quality data into a series of relatively stable components,with the aim to reduce the instability of the original data and increase the predictability,then each component was input into the iGOA-LSTM model for prediction.Finally,each component was added to obtain the predicted values.In this study,the monitoring data from Dayangzhou Station and Shengmi Station of the Ganjiang River was used for training and prediction.The experimental results showed that the prediction accuracy of the VMDIGOA-LSTM model proposed was higher than that of the integrated model of Ensemble Empirical Mode Decomposition(EEMD),the integrated model of Complete Ensemble Empirical Mode Decomposition with Adaptive Noise(CEEMDAN),Nonlinear Autoregressive Network with Exogenous Inputs(NARX),Recurrent Neural Network(RNN),as well as other models,showing better performance in short-term prediction.The current study will provide a reliable solution for water quality prediction studies in other areas.

Primary immune thrombocytopenia(ITP)is an autoimmune hemorrhagic disorder in which macrophages play a critical role.Mammalian sterile-20-like kinase 4(MST4),a member of the germinal-center kinase STE20 family,has been demonstrated to be a regulator of inflammation.Whether MST4 participates in the macrophage-dependent inflammation of ITP remains elusive.The expression and function of MST4 in macrophages of ITP patients and THP-1 cells,and of a macrophage-specific Mst4−/−(Mst4ΔM/ΔM)ITP mouse model were determined.Macrophage phagocytic assays,RNA sequencing(RNA-seq)analysis,immunofluorescence analysis,coimmunoprecipitation(co-IP),mass spectrometry(MS),bioinformatics analysis,and phosphoproteomics analysis were performed to reveal the underlying mechanisms.The expression levels of the MST4 gene were elevated in the expanded M1-like macrophages of ITP patients,and this elevated expression of MST4 was restored to basal levels in patients with remission after high-dose dexamethasone treatment.The expression of the MST4 gene was significantly elevated in THP-1-derived M1 macrophages.Silencing of MST4 decreased the expression of M1 macrophage markers and cytokines,and impaired phagocytosis,which could be increased by overexpression of MST4.In a passive ITP mouse model,macrophage-specific depletion of Mst4 reduced the numbers of M1 macrophages in the spleen and peritoneal lavage fluid,attenuated the expression of M1 cytokines,and promoted the predominance of FcγRIIb in splenic macrophages,which resulted in amelioration of thrombocytopenia.Downregulation of MST4 directly inhibited STAT1 phosphorylation,which is essential for M1 polarization of macrophages.Our study elucidates a critical role for MST4 kinase in the pathology of ITP and identifies MST4 kinase as a potential therapeutic target for refractory ITP.

The deep structure of the Duanqiao hydrothermal field at the Southwest Indian Ridge

Polymetalic sulfide is the main product of sea-floor hydrothermal venting, and has become an important sea-floor mineral resources for its rich in many kinds of precious metal elements. Since 2007, a number of investigations have been carried out by the China Ocean Mineral Resources Research and Development Association（COMRA）cruises（CCCs） along the Southwest Indian Ridge（SWIR）. In 2011, the COMRA signed an exploration contract of sea-floor polymetallic sulfides of 10 000 km2 on the SWIR with the International Seabed Authority. Based on the multibeam data and shipborne gravity data obtained in 2010 by the R/V Dayang Yihao during the leg 6 of CCCs21, together with the global satellite surveys, the characteristics of gravity anomalies are analyzed in the Duanqiao hydrothermal field（37°39′S, 50°24′E）. The ＂subarea calibration＂ terrain-correcting method is employed to calculate the Bouguer gravity anomaly, and the ocean bottom seismometer（OBS） profile is used to constrain the two-dimensional gravity anomaly simulation. The absent Moho in a previous seismic model is also calculated.The results show that the crustal thickness varies between 3 and 10 km along the profile, and the maximum crustal thickness reaches up to 10 km in the Duanqiao hydrothermal field with an average of 7.5 km. It is by far the most thicker crust discovered along the SWIR. The calculated crust thickness at the Longqi hydrothermal field is approximately 3 km, 1 km less than that indicated by seismic models, possibly due to the outcome of an oceanic core complex（OCC）.
