Alow-cost porous ceramic support was prepared from low-grade palygorskite clay(LPGS) and silicon carbide(SiC)with vanadium pentoxide(V_(2) O_(5)) additives by a dry-press forming method and *** effects of SiC-LPGS ratio,pressing pressure,carbon powder pore-forming agent and V_(2) O_(5) sintering additives on the microstructure and performance of the supports were *** addition of an appropriate amount of SiC to the LPGS can prevent excessive shrinkage of the support during sintering,and increase the mechanical strength and open porosity of the *** presence of SiC(34.4%) led to increases in the open porosity and mechanical strength of 40.43% ± 0.21% and(17.76 ± 0.51) MPa,respectively,after sintering at 700℃ for 3 *** of its low melting point,V_(2) O_(5) can melt to liquid during sintering,which increases the mechanical strength of the supports and retains the ***,this can also encourage efficient use of the LPGS and avoid wasting resources.

The integration of endoscopy has significantly propelled the diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal diseases, with colonoscopy establishing itself as the primary method for early diagnosis and preventive care in colorectal cancer(CRC). Although deep learning holds promise in mitigating missed polyp rates, modern endoscopy examinations pose additional challenges, such as image blurring and atomizing. This study explores lightweight yet powerful attention mechanisms, introducing the spatial-channel transformer(SCT), an innovative approach that leverages spatial channel relationships for attention weight calculation. The method utilizes rotation operations for inter-dimensional dependencies, followed by residual transformation, encoding inter-channel and spatial information with minimal computational overhead. Extensive experiments on the CVC-Clinic DB polyp detection dataset, addressing endoscopy pitfalls, underscore the superiority of our SCT over other state-of-the-art methods. The proposed model maintains high performance, even in challenging scenarios.

High-entropy ceramics(HECs)show outstanding properties such as amorphous-like thermal conductivities,colossal dielectric constant,superionic conductivity,enhanced electromagnetic wave absorption ability,super hardness and strength,which are promising for structural and functional ***,the high synthesis temperature has become the bottleneck that hinders the scale-up production and practical applications of *** is thus appealing to develop a novel low-temperature process for the synthesis of *** demonstrate the feasibility of low-temperature synthesis,herein,an electrospinning method has been utilized,for the first time,for the synthesis of high-entropy(Y_(0.2)Yb_(0.2)Sm_(0.2)Eu_(0.2)Er_(0.2))_(2)O_(3)*** has been found that after electrospinning from liquid precursors single phase(Y_(0.2)Yb_(0.2)Sm_(0.2)Eu_(0.2)Er_(0.2))_(2)O_(3) solid solution with bixbyite structure can be formed by calcining at a temperature as low as 500℃,which is at least about 1000℃ lower than that used in the solid-state synthesis *** as-prepared(Y_(0.2)Yb_(0.2)Sm_(0.2)Eu_(0.2)Er_(0.2))_(2)O_(3) nanofibers are continuous and uniform with a smooth surface and a small diameter of 150 *** is also intriguing that the average grain size of(Y_(0.2)Yb_(0.2)Sm_(0.2)Eu_(0.2)Er_(0.2))_(2)O_(3) is only about 10 nm,which is much smaller than that in the solid-state synthesized *** addition,all the elements are homogeneously distributed along the *** work demonstrates that high-entropy ceramic nanofibers can be synthesized from liquid precursors at low temperatures through a simple,efficient,and low-cost electrospinning method,which opens up a new avenue for the low-temperature synthesis of HECs.

Human endogenous retroviruses(HERVs)are remnants of retroviral infections in human germline cells from millions of years *** these,ERVW-1(also known as HERV-W-ENV,ERVWE1,or ENVW)encodes the envelope protein of the HERV-W family,which contributes to the pathophysiology of ***,neuropathological studies have revealed cell death and disruption of iron homeostasis in the brains of individuals with ***,our bioinformatics analysis showed that differentially expressed genes in the human prefrontal cortex RNA microarray dataset(GSE53987)were mainly related to ferroptosis and its associated *** data demonstrated significantly lower expression levels of ferroptosis-related genes,particularly Glutathione peroxidase 4(GPX4)and solute carrier family 3 member 2(SLC3A2),in schizophrenia patients compared to normal *** in-depth analyses revealed a significant negative correlation between ERVW-1 expression and the levels of GPX4/SLC3A2 in *** indicated that ERVW-1 increased iron levels,malondialdehyde(MDA),and transferrin receptor protein 1(TFR1)expression while decreasing glutathione(GSH)levels and triggering the loss of mitochondrial membrane potential,suggesting that ERVW-1 can induce *** research has shown that ERVW-1 reduced the expression of GPX4 and SLC3A2 by inhibiting their promoter ***,Ferrostatin-1(Fer-1),the ferroptosis inhibitor,reversed the iron accumulation and mitochondrial membrane potential loss,as well as restored the expressions of ferroptosis markers GSH,MDA,and TFR1 induced by *** conclusion,ERVW-1 could promote ferroptosis by downregulating the expression of GPX4 and SLC3A2,revealing a novel mechanism by which ERVW-1 contributes to neuronal cell death in schizophrenia.

Joint loan guarantee contracts and mutual guarantee contracts among SMEs form the basis of SME guarantee networks. The expansion of these networks increases the fragility of a financial system as a result of the regional and industrial risk contagion embedded within them. By providing a theoretical framework of a loan guarantee network, a method is proposed for calculating the amount of risk spillover caused by loan guarantees taking the perspective of the entire network. In addition,the route of risk contagion in guarantee networks is analyzed, revealing that when default risk shocks occur, risk contagion travels along the nodes not once but for several rounds and that the risk control of one firm cannot prevent these systemic risks. Therefore, a risk control scheme is designed based on the location and importance of firms in the network. Using data from a real guarantee network,we demonstrate that identifying the node locations of firms' in the guarantee network(including the coritivity and closeness of the firm) can help in understanding risk contagion mechanisms and preventing systemic credit risk before a crisis occurs.

A large number of reaction systems are composed of hydrophobic interfaces and microorganisms in natural ***,it is not clear how microorganisms adjust their breathing patterns and respond to hydrophobic ***,Shewanella oneidensis MR-1 was used to reduce ferrihydrite of a hydrophobic *** Fe(II)kinetic analysis,it was found that the reduction rate of hydrophobic ferrihydrite was 1.8 times that of hydrophilic *** hydrophobic surface of the mineral hinders the way the electroactive microorganism uses the water-soluble electron mediator riboflavin for indirect electron transfer and promotes MR-1 to produce more liposoluble *** can mediate electron transfer at the hydrophobic ***-30(UQ-6)increases the reduction rate of hydrophobic ferrihydrite from 38.5±4.4 to 52.2±0.8 mM$h*** on the above experimental results,we propose that liposoluble electron mediator ubiquinone can act on the extracellular hydrophobic surface,proving that the metabolism of hydrophobic minerals is related to endogenous liposoluble *** modification of minerals encourages electroactive microorganisms to adopt differentiated respiratory *** finding helps in understanding the electron transfer behavior of the microbes at the hydrophobic interface and provides new ideas for the study of hydrophobic reactions that may occur in systems,such as soil and sediment.

Activity and stability of 1%Pd-0.2%Pt/Al2O3 and 1%Pd-0.2%Pt/0.6%Ce/Al2O3 catalysts prepared by impregnation method for catalytic combustion of methane in air were investigated. The catalysts before and after reaction were characterized by BET, CO chemisorption, XRD and XPS techniques. Results showed that the presence of Ce significantly increased the activity and thermal stability of the Pd-Pt/Al2O3 catalyst towards methane combustion, which could be attributed to more highly-dispersed active PdO particles over the Pd-Pt/Ce/Al2O3 catalyst surface as well as the retarded sintering of PdO and the maintained oxidized state of surface Pd during the combustion process in the presence of Ce.

Chaos in nonlinear dynamical systems is featured with irregular appearance and with high sensitivity to initial ***-infrared light chaos based on semiconductor lasers has been extensively studied and has enabled various ***,we report a fully-developed hyperchaos in the mid-infrared regime,which is produced from interband cascade lasers subject to the external optical *** spectrum analysis demonstrates that the chaos exhibits three positive Lyapunov ***,the chaotic signal covers a broad frequency range up to the GHz level,which is two to three orders of magnitude broader than existed mid-infrared chaos *** interband cascade lasers produce either periodic oscillations or low-frequency fluctuations before bifurcating to *** hyperchaos source is valuable for developing long-reach secure optical communication links and remote chaotic Lidar systems,taking advantage of the high-transmission windows of the atmosphere in the mid-infrared regime.
