Iron sulfide(FeS)is a promising material for separating copper and arsenic from strongly acidic wastewater due to its S^(2-)slow-release ***,uncertainties arise because of the constant changes in wastewater composition,affecting the selection of operating parameters and FeS *** this study,the aging method was first used to prepare various controllable FeS nanoparticles to weaken the arsenic removal ability without affecting the copper *** experiments were conducted,and the results identified the Cu/As ratio,H_(2)SO_(4) concentration,and FeS dosage as the three main factors influencing the separation *** backpropagation artificial neural network(BP-ANN)model was established to determine the relationship between the influencing factors and the separation *** correlation coefficient(R)of overall model was 0.9923 after optimizing using genetic algorithm(GA).The BP-GA model was also solved using GA under specific constraints,predicting the best solution for the separation process in *** predicted results show that the high temperature and long aging time of FeS were necessary to gain high separation efficiency,and the maximum separation factor can reached 1,*** study provides a suitable sulfurizing material and a set of methods and models with robust flexibility that can successfully predict the separation efficiency of copper and arsenic from highly acidic environments.

Objective To observe the value of long TR three-dimensional inversion recovery sequence with real reconstruction(3D real IR)for quantifying inner ear endolymphatic hydrops(EH).Methods Totally 46 Ménière's disease(MD)patients and 21 healthy volunteers were prospectively *** scanning for inner ear based on 3D real IR and 3D fluid attenuated inversion recovery(3D FLAIR)sequence 4—6 h after administration of contrast agents were *** imaging qualities were scored and compared between *** endolymphatic space area and the membranous labyrinth area of cochlea and vestibule,as well as endolymph/membranous labyrinth area percentage were calculated,the present or not of EH and the grade of EH were *** inner ears of MD patients were enrolled in EH group,while inner ears of healthy volunteers were taken as controls(control group).The endolymphatic space area,membranous labyrinth area and endolymph/membranous labyrinth area percentage of cochlea and vestibule were compared between *** receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve was drawn to calculate the diagnostic efficacy of the above *** Cochlear and/or vestibular EH were detected in 56 ears,including cochlear EH in 52 ears and vestibular EH in 45 ears among 46 MD patients(EH group),but not in 42 ears in control *** subjective quality scores of 3D real IR images were higher than those of 3D-FLAIR(both P<0.05).Quantitative analysis based on 3D real IR images revealed that,compared with control group,significantly larger endolymph areas and endolymph/membranous labyrinth area percentages in both cochlea and vestibule were found in EH group(all P<0.001).The area under the curve(AUC)of cochlear or vestibular endolymph/membranous labyrinth area percentage for identifying inner ear EH was 0.999 and 0.985,*** 13.64%and 24.13%as the critical value of cochlear or vestibular endolymph,the specificity was 100%and 92.86%,respectively,and the sensitivity was 96.43%an

The sinking of diatoms is critic al to the formation of oceanic biological pumps and coastal hypoxic ***,little is known about the effects of different nutrient restrictions on diatom *** this study,we measured the sinking velocity(SV) of Thalassiosira weissflogii using a new phytoplankton video observation instrument and analyzed major biochemical components under varying nutrient *** results showed that the SV of *** under different nutrient limitation conditions varied *** highest SV of(1.77±0.02) m/d was obtained under nitrate limitation,signific antly surpassing that under phosphate limitation at(0.98±0.13) m/*** the nutrient limitation was released,the SV steadily decreased to(0.32±0.03) m/d and(0.15±0.05) m/d,***;under conditions with limited nitrate and phosphate concentrations,the SV values of *** significantly positively correlated with the lipid content(P <0.001),with R^(2) values of 0.86 and 0.69,*** change of the phytoplankton SV was primarily related to the intracellular compo sition,which is controlled by nutrient conditions but did not significantly correlate with transparent extracellular polymer and biosilica *** results of this study help to understand the regulation of the vertical sinking process of diatoms by nutrient restriction and provide new insights into phytoplankton dynamics and their relationship with the marine nutrient structure.

Natural fractures are critical for shale oil and gas enrichment and development. Due to the extremely high heterogeneity of shale, the factors controlling the formation of internal fractures, especially horizontal fractures, remain controversial. In this study, we integrate thin section analysis and microcomputed tomography(CT) data from several lacustrine shale samples from the third member(Es3) of the Shahejie Formation, Qikou Sag, Bohai Bay Basin, to assess the fractures in detail. The goal is to reveal the development characteristics, controlling factors, and geological significance for evaluating sweet spots in a shale oil play. The fractures in the Es3contain high-angle structural and horizontal bed-parallel fractures that are mostly shear and extensional. Various factors influence fracture development,including lithofacies, mineral composition, organic matter content, and the number of laminae. Structural fractures occur predominantly in siltstone, whereas bed-parallel fractures are abundant in laminated shale and layered mudstone. A higher quartz content results in higher shale brittleness, causing fractures, whereas the transformation between clay minerals contributes to the development of bedparallel fractures. Excess pore pressure due to hydrocarbon generation and expulsion during thermal advance can cause the formation of bed-parallel fractures. The density of the bed-parallel and structural fractures increases with the lamina density, and the bed-parallel fractures are more sensitive to the number of laminae. The fractures are critical storage spaces and flow conduits and are indicative of sweet spots. The laminated shale in the Es3with a high organic matter content contains natural fractures and is an organic-rich, liquid-rich, self-sourced shale play. Conversely, the siltstone, massive mudstone, and argillaceous carbonate lithofacies contain lower amounts of organic matter and do not have bed-parallel fractures. Research on metal-organic framework(MOF)-based non-enzymatic glucose sensors usually ignores the impact of the surface reconstruction degree of MOF on the activity of catalyzing glucose *** this work,we choose zeolitic imidazolate framework-67(ZIF-67),which is commonly used in glucose sensing,as a representative to investigate the influence of reconstruction degree on its structure and glucose catalytic *** employing the electrochemical activation strategy,the activity of ZIF-67 in catalyzing glucose gradually increased with the prolongation of the activation time,reaching the optimum after 2 h *** detection sensitivity of the activated ZIF-67 was 19 times higher than that of the initial ZIF-67,and the limit of detection(LOD)was lowered from 7 to 0.4μ*** findings demonstrate that the oxidation degree of ZIF-67 deepened rapidly with continuously activation and was basically reconstructed to CoOOH after 2 h activation,accompanied by a morphological change from cuboctahedral to ***,theoretical investigation revealed that ZIF-67 is not suitable as a stable glucose sensor electrode since the adsorbed glucose molecules hasten the dissociation of ligands and the breaking of Co-N bond in ***,our work has important implications for the rational design of next-generation MOF-based glucose sensors.

In this research,a novel method for regulating components in RE_(2)SiO_(5)/RE_(2)Si_(2)O_(7)multiphase silicates was developed,combining the benefits of a suitable thermal expansion coefficient(CTE)and outstanding corrosion resistance against calcium–magnesium–alumino–silicate(CMAS).This approach enhanced the overall thermophysical ***,the results from the CMAS corrosion resistance test indicated that(Lu_(1/3)Yb_(1/3)Tm_(1/3))_(2)SiO_(5)/(Lu_(1/3)Yb_(1/3)Tm_(1/3))_(2)Si_(2)O_(7)and(Lu_(1/4)Yb_(1/4)Tm_(1/4)Er_(1/4))_(2)SiO_(5)/(Lu_(1/4)Yb_(1/4)Tm_(1/4)Er_(1/4))_(2)Si_(2)O_(7)exhibited exceptional resistance to CMAS penetration,even at temperatures up to 1500℃.To comprehend the corrosion mechanism of CMAS on these silicates,we introduced a reaction–diffusion model,which involved observing the changes in the interface between the corrosion product layer and the silicate *** was achieved using electron backscatter diffraction(EBSD).These findings lay a theoretical basis for selecting rare earth elements in RE_(2)SiO_(5)/RE_(2)Si_(2)O_(7)multiphase silicates based on the radii of different rare earth cations.

Photodynamic therapy(PDT)has limited effects in treating metastatic breast *** checkpoints can deplete the function of immune cells;however,the expression of immune checkpoints after PDT is *** study investigates whether the limited e±cacy of PDT is due to upregulated immune checkpoints and tries to combine the PDT and immune checkpoint inhibitor to observe the e±cacy.A metastatic breast cancer model was treated by PDT mediated by hematoporphyrin derivatives(HpD-PDT).The anti-tumor effect of HpD-PDT was observed,as well as CD4þT,CD8þT and calreticulin(CRT)by immunohistochemistry and *** checkpoints on T cells were analyzed byflow cytometry after *** combining PDT with immune checkpoint inhibitors,the antitumor effect and immune effect were *** HpD-PDT at 100 mW/cm2 and 40,60 and 80 J/cm2,primary tumors were suppressed and CD4þT,CD8þT and CRT were elevated;however,distant tumors couldn't be inhibited and survival could not be *** checkpoints on T cells,especially PD1 and LAG-3 after HpD-PDT,were upregulated,which may explain the reason for the limited HpD-PDT *** PDT combined with anti-PD1 antibody,but not with anti-LAG-3 antibody,both the primary and distant tumors were signi-cantly inhibited and the survival time was prolonged,additionally,CD4þT,CD8þT,IFN-þCD4þT and TNF-þCD4þT cells were signi-cantly increased compared with ***-PDT could not combat metastatic breast ***1 and LAG-3 were upregulated after ***-PD1 antibody,but not anti-LAG-3 antibody,could augment the antitumor effect of HpD-PDT for treating metastatic breast cancer.
